I was raised Catholic. I know, I know not a 'real' Christian, so I've been told. I guess I was an 'unreal' Christian. I did consider becoming a priest around the impressionable age of 12 or so. My slow process of deconversion began in my late teens (I'm 77). Illuminating to see both sides and be free of all the hooey. Sathya Sai Baba was credited by his followers of miraculous healings, resurrections, bilocation and other miraculous deeds. He had hundreds of thousands of followers who still adhere to his teachings and he founded churches and charities that still exist. He died in 2011 so you can go talk to his followers who will say they witnessed these miracles. I do not believe any of it is true. If something that recent with living followers who will attest to these miracles does not make me consider believing in him, why would I believe the words of unknown people who wrote they heard stories of similar events who lived a couple thousand years ago

Supernatural revelation is only necessary for those who've heard it and understood it. Therefore, don't worry about dogmas you can't prove but question why you're a moral relativist even though reason is sufficient to know what is obhectively right and wrong on the basis of self-evident moral axioms.

If you state that there is no god, then you are making an argument from knowledge, and there is no knowledge that gods do not exist. It is equally facile to make the claim that gods do not exist as it is to claim that gods do exist.

The bible doesn´t say the earth is 10.000 years old. The bishop Usher did. The bible also never says how long it took between the creation of earth and the creation of man until Adam ate the fruit. That is pretty easy to reconcile, you think God made a tree and it didn't have rings, even though it was just made the rings show it's old. The earth could be the same way, just created, but science as we know it shows it as much older. Also most things he is saying are facts are theories and not proven as well, or the science could just be wrong and we learn that later and science gets better as well! The most deceptive part about this guy's position is God doesn't have to work by our rules , but he pretends that he does. The rest of his argument is why did God use text that isn't 100% fact, because then it isn't FAITH! Arguing against the Biblical God and the many assertions behind him is much easier than arguing against the single idea that there may be an intent behind nature. Arguing against that is tougher than it looks.
I like lawyers. Lawyers are the smartest people. I base this on the observable fact that they use the language better than anyone else. Plus, they are the ones that make up the rules and see to their implementation. Legal arguments by definition can not possess any ideology. They can only use facts in evidence, and they use these facts to try to persuade a jury what these facts imply. Evidence as it pertains to scientific theory can be easily dismissed and it will hurt you not one bit. But the kind of evidence that lawyers deal with is very important as the quality of a person's life can depend on a good lawyer. I was raised Catholic. I know, I know not a 'real' Christian, so I've been told. I guess I was an 'unreal' Christian. I did consider becoming a priest around the impressionable age of 12 or so. My slow process of deconversion began in my late teens (I'm 77). Illuminating to see both sides and be free of all the hooey. Content where I am with my wife of 49 years, our wonderful daughter and two rambunctious grandsons.

That is pretty easy to reconcile, you think God made a tree and it didn't have rings, even though it was just made the rings show it's old. The earth could be the same way, just created, but science as we know it shows it as much older. Also most things he is saying are facts are theories and not proven as well, or the science could just be wrong and we learn that later and science gets better as well! The most deceptive part about this guy's position is God doesn't have to work by our rules , but he pretends that he does. The rest of his argument is why did God use text that isn't 100% fact, because then it isn't FAITH! God wants those to look for him to find him and see the truth, not give 100% undisputable facts to earn our faith. That is a bad argument when faith by definition doesn't work that way. Actually, his whole argument is actually weaker than that. He says if God doesn't fit in the box I am making up, then God isn't real! How can anyone actually think that is a "nail in the coffin"?! Very disingenuous and deceptive!

Arguing against the Biblical God and the many assertions behind him is much easier than arguing against the single idea that there may be an intent behind nature. Arguing against that is tougher than it looks.
I like lawyers. Lawyers are the smartest people. I base this on the observable fact that they use the language better than anyone else. Plus, they are the ones that make up the rules and see to their implementation. Legal arguments by definition can not possess any ideology. They can only use facts in evidence, and they use these facts to try to persuade a jury what these facts imply. Facts are subject to interpretation so there is usually another lawyer trying to say that those same facts mean something different.
Krauss, Dawkins, Tyson, et al are not smart enough to be lawyers. Evidence as it pertains to scientific theory can be easily dismissed and it will hurt you not one bit. But the kind of evidence that lawyers deal with is very important as the quality of a person's life can depend on a good lawyer.

I may get some flack from my fellow atheists for what I am about to say, and I apologize in advance if this offends anyone.
It is easy to avoid using the Y'all word. Just say "you." You already indicated that your message is going to all atheists in the first part of your opening, thus rendering all of the Y"all's redundant. This shouldn't even be a word. Intelligent people avoid it altogether, or at the very least, use it very sparingly, and never in writing, only verbally in very specific situations.
TL;DR saying Y'all multiple times makes you look dumb. Writing it out multiple times, doubly so.
