They are not red flags, they are handkerchieves. Traditionally part of clothing is used as an accessory in Middle East and the Balkans during folk dances.

the red flag are called “MINDILA” and it’s a traditional costume of albanias and we use them on our traditional dancing we love them

It's always so interesting to see countries sharing some elements of each other's culture. "Mandili" in Georgian also means a small piece of textile that is part of the traditional costumes. According to old tales, if two men were fighting and a woman threw a mandili between them, they needed to stop fighting.
Hi Georgina! I am a big albanian fan of your videos, and I just wanted to clear out the confusion on the red flags. The red colour represents the country's flag since the 15th century, it's a colour that characterises our country; meanwhile the hand movements simply symbolise waving the flag while holding tightly onto it with pride. Here in Albania it's a common joyful move which represents the love and pride which comes from being albanian.

Interesting perspective about live performances. I loved Cyprus going into the semis. It sounds like television sound didn’t do it justice because I was disappointed and you thought it went pretty well. Opposite seems to happen with Poland. Broadcast sound was actual really good, but nort so much in the arena.
Georgina, so nice to see you fulfill a dream and got there, having fun and seeing this whole contest live! I would love to experience as well, not cause the look but the atmosphere from the contestants and the fans. Thanks for the ESC videos, have a great Final. :)

I'm from Finland, and like pretty much everyone around here, we're are just super proud of Käärijä and what an amazing job he is doing at the ESC - his song is so very Finnish.
I was rooting for Slovenia and Australia, it was great to see them qualify. I wasn't a fan of Estonia before, but after that performance yesterday, I think she was amazing (and miles ahead of any of the other female singers).
The red flags that albina and her family held in their hands are an albanian traditional flag when we dance our traditional songs that we call “Valle” Albania was amazing, fav performance well deserved!
ESC must be experienced live to sense how much better it is than on TV. The vocals are often better and the less good singers which are the minority sounding worse live.
But not many famous stars and bands are singing that good. I am glad you could feel the vibe and atmosphere and appreciating your comments. Will France win?

the red handkerchief we use them at the weddings and dances its a tradition thing we can't dance without it lol i know other Balkan countries have traditional dances but I think Albanians are the only ones that use those when dancing if I'm correctly ? By the way we can wave anything we have in hands its doesn't necessary have to be red or handkerchief 🤣😂🥰

I was so sorry for Greece, I really liked the song and Victor's voice is amazing. It fits for productions from Felix Jaehn or Medusa. He needs to make collabs with more clubbing style.

Red Flag is part of our tradition , also Albina's outfit represenr Illyririans. Our past is Illirya. Their Outfit was blak and the flags were red, as Red and Black are Albania's colours. It is our flag. 🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱 She deserves to win. 🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱
Iru's vocal quality is way more powerful than Blanka's who has poor quality to become a professional singer. Shame on the voters who downgraded Georgian entry this year

I like watching your videos but I think you should be honest with the UK entry... Although the song is a cool radio song, the live perfomance was really poor. Not sure if she would qualify if it had to be in the semi finals. Definitely the worst live performence of the night (unfortunately as I really like the song). Interesing that she will be singing as the last one in the final. Not sure if that will help her or the opposite.
Every youtuber using Cyprus song as an example to say that all artists are using backup help. Andrew Lambrou sang this song live and acoustic many times without a microphone and nailed every note. OF COURSE every artist is using back up vocals and support and many songs you can even hear 2 voices at the same time during head voice parts. Double standards unfortunately.
