If it pulls an amazing and NOT a low budget/bootleg performance, not saying this is one, but they can reach higher levels, then they might stand out in the best of way possible and even win
I love it
In my opinion Konstrakta and Luke are only similar when it comes to the message. Both songs are extremely artistic when it comes to the lyrics, musical elements and the performance. But I feel like they still differ a lot in the way of presenting. Serbia didn't fail to maintain the benefits of the artistic soul but still send something different from last year. Something unique. They changed Eurovision and set new standards 💪🏻

He was he was just disappointed in Sanja. First excited in their last interview in Belgrade and then disappointed when all of that was just for hurricane group

Luke said that the staging will be changed, he had a vision he wanted to fulfill but wasn't able because of stage limitation. It's gonna be way more polished and definitely way more expensive in Liverpool!

Just imagine the world, in which we would have Käärijä, Luke Black and Jann on the same Eurovision stage... That would have been the absolutely glorious trio of beautiful, daring weirdness, and a legendary line-up in its own right. Instead, we have gorgeous songs from Serbia and Finland, and a blank(a) spot where Poland should be.

This is a huge victory for avant-garde music in Serbia.
This is an unusual song and performance that requires people think outside the box but if we take look at the current situation - real pop music are dying in Serbia, the avant-garde is still taboo, so many people have prejudices, I was really afraid that he won't have enough support. This is not only Luke's victory but victory for some different future music in my country.

Meni je ova izvedba za Evroviziju žanrovski baš dobra. Ja sam kao mlada uvek slušala stranu muziku nisam volela narodnu što ne znači da kada odem u kafanu ne volim dobru turbo folk jer jedino te to podigne, to je naš identitet kao u Americi kantri, od prilike.... Ne treba brkati te pojmove ni porediti, zna se gde šta ide... Ovo inače prolazi na Evroviziji jer ni tamo više nema nešto što baš muzički vredi.... Ovo mi je čak i nekud i najbolje...... Just one thing... Luka is not "killing" them, he is "releasing" them from the control of the creature (monster) that made them sleep and ignorant/passive. I love this entry, too, though it is kind of growing off me. I still love it, but not as much as in the beginning. However, I totally agree with Deban and I can totally see this being a dark horse, suddenly in the top3 in the Grand Final. A lot of people will see this for the first time in the Grand Final and this hits you like a truck the first time you see this, but a good truck filled with Serbian music dreams lmao. Whatever, I think this could actually do extremely well.

That's a techno-lotus (flower) in the beginning..
When you mention Transformers you are not wrong , this song in my opinion is very much inspired by NIN and Linking Park ( specially electronic rock elements). In first second i was like : " wait a minute this sound like Linking Park" as he song progressed i was more like: " wait the guy sounds like Trent Reznor "and the whole song feels like something that NIN would do. It is a complement of course and i am super happy this type of music finally appears in Eurovision.
NIN is my favorite band ever and since I heard Luke's song I just think it sounds like them! I love this so much!

This song is a critique of the modern society and contemporary world. He makes connection with a video games where young people (and everyone else) are, artistically speaking, controlled by someone else and are just observers of all the horror happening around the Globe. He uses himself as a metaphor - (he only wants to sleep), as it is the easiest thing to do - to oversleep all the tragedies and to wake up in a better world. If you carefully look the performance - you will see that they are dancing as zombies as they are under anesthesia not reacting on this "world on fire" as he notices. However, the message of the song is quite opposite - we should all wake up, we should react, we should have more conscience and sapience that he calls on, especially to decision makers. At the end of the song he "releases" those "controlled" masses in order to become more active, more energetic and they together react - walk, make changes together. The "hello" part was written inspired by the Sims game, where the characters wave the player when they want something, instead of taking action, so he uses a parallel with people today.

I love how everyone has a very unique interpretation of the performance! 👾 I see this as an inner fight - between you and your thoughts. You close your eyes to sleep, but that’s when things in your head become very loud. I see this “base” in the beginning as quite literally his mind; we’re entering it, and we can see that there’s a lot going on there, a lot of battles and inner fights. It’s like your mind is the final boss of your own game, and sometimes it can even become your enemy. By the end, Luke’s getting in charge, he defeats his thoughts, and he is finally able to move on and get some rest by being able to control his mind, rather than his thoughts controlling him, which made him want to sleep forever in the first place. Or maybe this is all just me. 💤 But anyways, I’m so happy he’s representing our country this year, hope he has a lot of fun. 🦞🇷🇸
