- Hey, how's it going everyone?! I'm Phlinger Phoo and welcome to Ark: Basics. Today we are going to discuss everything you need to know about the Lystrosaurus. How to tame a Lystrosaurus. And also, how to get Rare Flowers.

Great vid, Lystrosaurus are always good for new players (even at higher levels). I use them next to my dung beetle / achatina farm, for easy levels (dung beetle needs weight stat and achatina needs food stat).
Another good place to use them is in the dino storage. Everytime you pass by, you can pet it. Because every experience point matters in the end.

You can also find rare flowers inside of beaver dams but using a Therry to harvest those cat tail plants in the swamp is the best way.

@@disturbedKid_X with a therinzeno, press in on the right thumb stick around bushes and plants. It will collect berries from them and rare flowers from the cat tail plants in the swamp.

Another thing is that if you get lystro eggs and make lystro kibble for a female diplodocus, you can then make diplo kibble for allosaurus.
The lystrosaurus is a cute companion to have around

Bro does the xp boost stack with more of them? Like i cant find anything about it ive been trying to find that out for an hour
There is one more thing i would like to know, if you pet multiple Lystrosaurus at the same time, does the buff improve and give more experience?
Does the buff only for Dino? Or also human?

Great vid! 1 question though: do the xp buffs stack?
Tried it before, you only get 1 icon.. i checked Google, and everybody says "No".
No they dont. Some people say that 2 together extend the range. But that isnt true either.

@@Phlinger XP buffs will stack, just not by using multiple lystrosaurs. You can get a 4x and 6x explorer notes while on your tame (so that the buff goes towards your tame as well), have it eat a golden hesperornis egg AND pet the lystrosaur. All those buffs will stack together and will cause your tame to level at ludicrous speeds. Use a beaver or argy with saddle (for mobile smithy) and start making multiple items. The tame will gain additional passive XP while using a tame to create items next to them while all buffs are active
Every time I let my eye off them while taming they just die even though there are no aggressive creatures except piranhas and a megalodon. Wait I forgot the ichthyornis goddammit
Mine did that for a while then suddenly it worked! They stopped dying started taming

Mine lay eggs but i have them in my main base so i walk past and see them several in my fridge now. At night fertile lystro eggs glow

When I try to tame them with Mejo berries the tame meter doesn't fill nearly that much. about 3-4%. It's so ineffective that even following them and feeding them constantly, I can't keep the tame bar up long enough to make progress. It immediately starts to deplete.
