thanks for the review! just purchased the bike on Monday. I didn't want to be locked in to one platform, such as peloton, and loved the idea of the screen being unlocked. I think the pros outweigh the cons!
The open source is what attracts me. I can use peloton digital or ifit or a number of other apps to switch up the ride.
Great review, and having owned the Stryde bike for 5 months, I agree will all of your comments. I found using a Bluetooth speaker helps with the audio issue.

Great review! Its nice to see more in depth reviews as there are not many out there for the Stryde bike. I purchased this bike after seeing Travis' reviews of it and I really love it! I agree with you on the tablet sound, but I work out early in the morning so not using headphones isn't an option else I'd wake everyone up. I disagree with you on motivation, but then again I never tried spin before getting this bike. I've had it for 2 and a half weeks now and I've been super motivated and work out every day. I've been using the Peloton app, not sure if I will try the Stryde app since Peloton digital is so much cheaper and I am completely satisfied using it!
Silverwolf, so when you connect your headphones to the tablet, is the sound quality any better?
@@Ndasif131 Yes! It is much better! I use my AirPods and they work great and the sound is good.

Bike is awesome and the classes have been great so far. Huge difference in entry price vs peloton a I got mine in 2 weeks vs 8 or 10 for peloton
Incorrect it costs more than a peloton
Great review! I pulled the trigger and purchased a a Stryde bike. Unfortunately the monitor doesn’t work and I haven’t heard back from the company. May have to return it.
The stryde bike has an open platform for people who are hesitant on going with the peloton, IFit, echelon, soulcycle or their own subscription. It’s a great beginner exercise bike to test the waters. Not only that, they provide various ways where you can explore different options without being stuck to one platform. Since the bike is a year old, there is room for improvement. It’s better than buying a Bike without the tablet attached and then paying extra money to do a peloton hack. This is the perfect alternative

I absolutely regret buying this bike instead of a peloton. So many problems. Currently I've been without a bike for over two months after contacting them more than 10 times. They never get a technician out as promised and then make me talk to different people and call different phone numbers. Constantly promising me it will be taken care of by certain dates and not delivering. Avoid avoid!
What problems have you been having with it?
oh no!! someone is reselling theirs but not having access to the warranty scares me.. especially now.
Are you able to connect Bluetooth headphones?
I don’t have the bike, but other reviewers of the bike said yes you can via settings on the tablet. Pretty much like connecting to your phone.
I want to buy this bike. Im new to biking at home but when you said that it lacks motivation, now Im scared to get it. Peleton is too expensives for me for now. I liked that you can see Netflix and etc on this one so at least i can watch a show while I ride... now Idk..
Does this bike have nature rides like the peloton?
Unfortunately no
You can use Peloton app or ifit app on it so you can take a nature ride on it
@@acdcbrody does it automatically chance resistance for the outdoors rides like the nordictrack bike?
