    I have a deluxe as well. I use my speakers all the time. They never cut out on me at any speed. I have the Auto Mute Option turned off. Page 57 of your owners manual it explains how to adjust it.
    1) To change the automatic mute mode, press and hold the Audio power button for 1 second.
    2) Release the button. The display will show "Auto Mute On" (activate) or "Auto Mute Off" (deactivate).
    I hope this helps.

    The gates opens not from weight but from "magnetic sensor" it "feels" the metal ... Quick tip put some magnets ( neodinium ) at the bottom of the bike helps a lot

      I don't think the fork is adjustable, and that's where the "hit" occurs.

    I have a CTX 1300 Deluxe. Yes, the mirrors are useless. It has tapped holes for mirrors on the hydraulic front brake and clutch master cylinders. I went to the Honda dealer and ordered all the mirror parts from a CTX 700. They cost more but fit perfectly and keep the Honda look.

    • @QuentinsMotoVlog
      @QuentinsMotoVlog  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joseph Forstner that sounds like a good solution. I found some generic mirrors that screwed in, looked pretty good and made a huge difference.

    • @josephforstner8401
      @josephforstner8401 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was nice that Honda left those tapped holes on this model.

    • @QuentinsMotoVlog
      @QuentinsMotoVlog  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joseph Forstner actually, it was cheaper for them. They used a standard part from the bin. 😉

    I believe there are some mirrors out there that would attach to the top of the stock mirrors with 3m tape that might work for you. That traffic is crazy! Bike is looking sharp!

    You can remove the stiffness in the suspension by turning the spanner ring on the rear shock.. It is probably set on 1 (stiffest out of the 5 positions), try position 3 instead. There should be a spanner tool in the left saddle bag tool kit.

    • @QuentinsMotoVlog
      @QuentinsMotoVlog  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      peopleR2stupid thanks. I set it all the way down to 4 and it’s much better. Just wish I could do something to make the forks more compliant. Still pretty harsh.

    why not just take the bar ends off? the mirrors would add some weight back for vibration dampening.

    • @QuentinsMotoVlog
      @QuentinsMotoVlog  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      John Braman I tried that. I can’t see any way to get the inserts in the handlebar end out, which the weighted bar ends screw into. They don’t have any kind of indentation that any kind bit could fit into to unscrew them. And it’s not that I don’t recognize the insert and which tool would work. They’re perfectly smooth. There’s nothing I can see to fit a tool into. I’m surely missing something.

    Hmm, I personally think it's actually a good thing it turns the music off at a stoppp, just to mee, sometimes I think it comes off as a teeensy bit inconsiderate when people play their music on their bikes at stops really loudly.. and everyone hears it @.@ , now I think it's fine if you turn your music down a lot though, but personally, I think that's a good feature really.! >~

    • @QuentinsMotoVlog

      I’m with you about guys blaring their motorcycle music at stops that I really don’t want to hear. Sharing is not always caring. Anyway, eventually I did find the setting that lets the music stay on at stops. I was much happier with that.

    just throw all your media on a usb stick and no worries about pairing.

    • @QuentinsMotoVlog
      @QuentinsMotoVlog  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like that suggestion--thank you--except for three things: time, money and limited selection. Time: I would think it would takes hours and hours to download music onto a stick. Money: I'd have to spend money to buy each song. A song is cheap but hundreds of songs would add up. Unless there is a legitimate free source? Selection: again it would take a lot of time for me to recall and find the hundreds of songs I would want. And the end product would only be songs that I know--it wouldn't include music I might like but am unaware of. And finally there is the RIDICULOUS feature of the CTX 1300 speakers cutting off if you're going under 9 miles per hour!! Unfathomably stupid decision, @Honda!!! My latest best idea is to put bluetooth speakers in my helmet and send the music directly from Sirius on my phone to my helmet. But again, I do appreciate the suggestion.

      @@QuentinsMotoVlog 2020. Samsung Note8(currently 10 is top), doubletwist app, paid(not much) hundreds of albums on phones SD card(all mine all MP3). App synchs folder, populates music into artists, albums etc. I set up(took 4 nights, 3-4hrs each night) to set up play lists. About 10 or 12 play lists. Ranging from about 25 songs to 75. I use 3-4 play lists mostly, 2 about 90% of time. As soon as my Jeep SRT media boots up, last play list starts up automatically. Same on CTX. I don't touch anything. Unless I want to change the current play list. Have to do that on phone. Basically get a good app that streams. Set up some decent playlists. More songs the better then just let it auto synch 👍
