    That's quite a bike. I'm glad you made a walk around video. That is what I was waiting for. That bike has so much technology. And so many features. So nice. Thanks again for the video. Tcrs

    Nice man. Looks very well proportioned and comfortable. Love all the gadgets it's got. The usb is very handy.
    She's a keeper.

      +Doticaster Thanks, yep, it is very well proportioned and comfortable, and I usually can go on a long trip without it affecting my back or my a** :) There are still bumps in the road that I feel, but they are not as bad as the old 1998 Suzuki LS650 that I used to have. You can find out how much of a pain that was, by going to "My Old Motorcycle Vlogs" playlist. Yeah, the gadgets come in great, and the usb is good too. Since I shot that video, I have at least another gadget that I want to put on there and it is a charging port that I have in my car, that will charge my phone, and also I need to get another usb charger that goes in a cigarette lighter. It is made by E-Tek, and is a Auxiliary 12v Power port, that has another part that hooks into a pig tail that goes to the battery, and I will use that for this trip, and then maybe use it at a later date for a LED light setup that I want to see about getting next when I get back from the trip. Yep, she is a keeper, but, I have thought about trading her in on a Victory Vision or a Harley Davidson Ultra Glide, or a Honda Goldwing. One thing that drives me crazy about this one, is there is no tip over protection , like there is on the Victory Vision, where the floorboards will take the punishment, if I tip it on it's side, like I have done 3 times already and it cost me at least about $125 the first time for a mirror replacement, or even $27.50 when I got the mirror replaced itself from Abrams Glass here in Springdale twice.

    okay i must say this is really a nice bike! I know you are thinking about trading up but i see you have a luggage rack, I would just buy a really good expandable bag and keep the bike. you have so many feature that i wish i had on my bike!! Traction control, blue tooth, and great gas mileage and she looks like she as a lot of room. To me that bike is a keeper, but that's just me. Good review!

      +Krazy Kool NYer Thanks, I think I might do that. I think I might just get rid of the saddlebags and get something deeper. What did you think of the wolfman bags? The traction control is great, and bluetooth is great as well. I just wish it came standard with a power windshield, but oh, I will look at getting that eventually. We will have to go riding sometime if you are ever in Arkansas. I thought some Victorys have traction control, or do they call it something else?

      Victory MC only come with ABS for now, I hope they will be added that feature later. Never saw the wolfman bags, but if they do the job and don't cost a arm n a leg go for it!

      Krazy Kool NYer Oh o.k. maybe they will come out with that feature on their newer upcoming models, and do not understand why it is not standard on all bikes, including Victory's. I put a link to wolfman in one of my videos. Here is the link to it at: www.wolmanluggage.com, and their youtube channel is here at: th-cam.com/users/WolfmanLuggage . The only thing is that their Boulder Beta bag is as much, or maybe a little more than a fiberglass or hard top saddlebag.

    One wonders why they didn't make the bags removable as on the st1300, it's such a great feature to have.

    • @renegadebiker24
      @renegadebiker24  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Seroom NZ I agree. I guess Honda thought that they would have a total new design that would be different from the ST1300. I just wish they would have kept that part of the design from the ST1300. However, I wonder if there is an aftermarket product that will allow that with it's current saddlebags, or will I have to get new saddlebags for that to happen?

      They do have good openings and you can get nice custom liners for them that just drop in. Liners are good for people who pack light, I Squeeze stuff into ever square inch. Cheers

      +Seroom NZ Hmmmm, I will look into that. I was thinking about the Harley Davidson saddlebags as an alternative saddlebag that are deeper than the stock ones and can be easily removed and open from the top, instead of opening from the side, and painting them the same color.

      +renegadebiker24 Have you seen a CTX with them on, do they look OK.
      The clam shell type bags are a bit of a pain, when you open them up stuff is likely to fall out. However top opening are a pain because what you want is always at the bottom.
      I cannot see in your video but have a look inside the lid and bag. Are there four anchor points near the opening of the bag and lid in what would approximate the corners if the bags were square?

    • @PanRider939
      @PanRider939 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +renegadebiker24 I've managed to find some images online of the CTX1300 bags open and cannot see any obvious anchor points. Which puts the kybosh on my next suggestion which was to install a homemade figure 8 shock cord cargo net, in the lid and box. I have em and they holds my junk in and if I want to access something the rest of my junk doesn't fall out.

    It's got the jet at the jet fighter look.
    Looks like a very Dependable bike.
    Lot's of Bell's and whistles on that bike.

      @renegadebiker24  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +The LittleGuy Yep, that is why I got it, for the dependability. The bells and whistles were just something extra. Thanks for commenting.😀😆😃
