I am in Scottsdale, laugh about feeling sorry for dealers. Front lots empty, rear lots full used cars! Less gross sales, record net profits. Absurd market!!
I think much of what is going on now with Porsches and other high end cars is that they are now less of a fun driving machine and more of a speculative commodity to be bought, flipped and sold for profit. Looks what’s going on with the new GT3s. They are being sold within a month for 40-50% over original sticker. High end cars are now basically like paintings or other art, especially with an over valued stock market and the coming onslaught of EVs. People with big bucks are looking to make money in any way they can and right now, it’s with high end cars. It makes me nauseous, but it’s true.
