You only can't get the metric tires (Michelin TRX) for the very early Testarossas, with a center lock wheels. Later cars got the regular 5-lug, 16" rims and for those tires are not a problem. For the early cars, you can get aftermarket, OEM looking center lock wheels in normal size (not metric) that solve the tire issue. The EURO spec Testarossas are more desirable for several reasons: the rear bumper looks much better (no ugly bumperettes), regular seatbelts (not automatic) and no cats (much better sound & more power).

Jim, you’re doing a great job with the show but where has Dave been hiding?

Thank you for the kind words, he isn't hiding at all, he may pop up at any time! James took the reins in effort to put out the podcasts at a more frequent rate at the request of many users. We appreciate you watching us!

So sorry about your dad. Lost my mom last year. I’d say do yourself a favor and steer clear of any auction. Looking at the inane comments by “experts” on these auction showed me I’d not do that. Study the market, come up with price-high is ok, then negotiate-and save yourself the stress. Just my .02.

We do appreciate you asking and would also like to comment our condolences for your loss. If you look at our sales results, you will most likely find that we are a "go-to" center for the epic 993 model and would be delighted to help you with the task of finding the next rightful owner. Please feel free to submit the car or contact our staff info@pcarmarket. Thank you for watching the podcast.

Important clarification….only 75 F512M in USA version, far more desirable than the other 426 ROW. 2 totaled in US version so only 73 original left, 1 is a rebuild in Light Blue Maranello, so 72 remain as built. Top sale last year at PB was 785k,in Nero, and a standard Rosso Corsa sold for 730k.

Hello, we so appreciate the Ferrari Knowledge. The F512M we were speaking about on the podcast was the later car produced in the 1990's

@@pcarmarketlive351 And that is what I referred you to, I run the registry for the 1995 F512M, which is what the link I sent you takes you to. 512S was the original 512 (1970). What I sent in the original reply is all in reference to the F512M USA version you showed on the video, the 1995 F512M.

Jim you’re a ROCK STAR! Very easy on the ears and a wealth of knowledge, you always make sense and your expertise and thoughts on values are always spot on. Davis seems to be all over the place misspeaking often, half the time I can’t follow what he’s saying. Keep up the great work Jim!

Not sure who Davis is but thank you for the comment. Everyone on the podcast is very well plugged into the market and loves what they do. If you are referring to David, PCARMARKET CEO who started the podcast, he handed over the reigns to Jim as he is very busy with other projects. We think he did a great job while hosting the show.

Just had a horrible experience on pcarmarket. Their seller was not vetted. The car was misrepresented in terms of condition and quality. The seller stated the car had a Porsche CPO that expired in November of 2024, it actually turned out that the warranty expires 8 months earlier. The car was not driveable from the moment it arrived to my dealership (massive exhaust leak/lean code/engine light). The seller denied that this condition existed. Several independent mechanics refuted this claim and stated the exhaust leak was present for a very long time and due to the seller doing his own work on the car, which he did not disclose. The seller also misrepresented the car having its 20k mile service at an actual porsche dealership. The original parts that were supposed to be sold with the car are broken and unusable. Management at pcar have taken no responsibility, all they care about is their 5% fee. They hide behind their terms and conditions and do not give a crap if anyone is hurt in the process.

The obvious first reaction was to delete this comment. But after a few moments of contemplation, it was clear that a response was not only warranted but necessary. We will be brief and concise, in respect for the time of the people reading this. The commenter purchased a stated modified Porsche 991 GTS. From the moment the auction ended, the commenter attacked and harassed everyone who he could find a name for within the company via email, social media, and telephone. It is important for readers to know, without embarrassing the commenter, just how egregious and disrespectful he handled himself. He took a very manageable situation and turned into chaos. This commenter/buyer received more attention, cooperation, and compensation than anyone would expect in this situation from both the seller and auction company. We are quite confident that anyone with full knowledge of what transpired would disregard his comment entirely. It is important to know that the team works tirelessly to assure that both bidders and sellers are treated fairly and with respect.

Sadly I referred the user above to the site, having sold a few cars on the site. I can vouch for his horrible experience and the nonchalance approach/unwillingness to correct the situation from pcar. The seller lied about almost everything and Eric only contacted after an unusable car was delivered. They didn’t care about the fraud from the outset and couldn’t easily rectified the situation with a fee refund- but chose to burn a few users instead. Do yourself a favor and use BAT instead - friends don’t let friends use pcar.

If we are being factual, I was very excited about this purchase. It was only when I received an inoperable vehicle that I contacted your company. Your rebuttal commentary does not acknowledge any of
The issues I flagged regarding the sellers dishonesty and misrepresentation. As for “compensation” from your company…there was none:::zero. Your comment that no one with knowledge of this situation would believe my version is also untrue. I believe the gentleman who actually suggested pcar to begin with tried to comment on this thread but it appears his comments are not appearing. Anyway you can correct that to show all the comments?

Isn’t it up to you to vet the car and seller? PCAR market is an auction site, not a dealership. They are not selling you their car. They are offering you a platform on which you can bid on cars being sold by others. Any blame for not vetting the car always falls on the buyer, (I.e. you). You may have a valid complaint about misrepresentation, but it should be directed at the seller, not the auction house.

Oh absolutely. I shoulder some of this. However, for the ad to have been riddled with so many omissions and misrepresentations , does that mean pcar just lets anyone post whatever they want without regard for truth or honesty? I directed all of
This at the seller and he is in complete denial and offered a few bucks to throw at the multitude of issues
