My very 1st comment on youtube ever after 15 years of using it. I tried removing and reinstalling AC cable & battery, same with the 30 sec trick before reinstalling 15 times. Vacuumed and blew out everything I could find. Tried the power/speaker a dozen of times. What did the trick was removing/reinstalling the memory. I was going to spend money on a new battery or I was going to reinstall the BIOS. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Great video showing my "blinking light" issue (not listed in HP Tech Support blinking light overview). The first 2 steps did not work...but step 3, that was the ticket. Thank you for putting this together! I also had to order a new battery - but nothing changed until I had removed memory ram. Peace!

Had almost the same issue. Nothing blinked but a dead laptop. Already disconnected the RAM module and the battery but to no avail. Found your video and now I run both actions combined with more time, and behold! The laptop is BACK to live! Totally awesome and THANK YOU for sharing. Much appreciated :)

It worked! At first I tried to remove the battery and start the computer with the adapter only (didn’t work). Then, with the battery still out, removed the ram and put back in (still did not work). Finally tried to start it without the battery and ram and still did not work. After putting everything back together and getting ready to Chuck my laptop in the trash, I pressed the power button one last time for shits and gigs and it worked!!

What I had to do was remove the ram then turn on the laptop & without it's ram it peeps..
I then turned it off and reinstalled it ram.. turn it on and laptop is good as new..
