I am a ND superfan; however, I will not buy every single palette she puts out. The Xenon palette I did not purchase because unless your a professional, your eyes will look like raccoon eyes. I also did not purchase the last face palette, nor did I buy the two former facial palettes which were pink and brown. I did not buy trio chrome as it's expensive for a hideous color story. But the palettes that I do buy, I really use them and even hit pan once and a while. also I'm over 40 and still use shimmers cause they make me happy. i personally love this palette as I do your content. Love your content you're a straight shooter.
I have really slowed down on my makeup purchases this year, particularly when it comes to eyeshadow palettes. I really appreciate that you showed the matte look and the shimmer look. I usually don’t have interest in gold palettes but this one seems much less yellow and brassy than most. Your looks really appealed to me. I may pick this one up.
Hi Mandy. Truly beautiful look! I agree with you about the overabundance of new makeup releases... I really need to be watching my makeup budget for a number of reasons, plus I'm facing some space limitations. That being said, there is something very special about the Natasha Denona eye shadow palettes! Thank you for your great videos. You brighten my day!
Mandy is there any chance you can give us a look at the final look in natural daylight? I bought this palette at launch and maybe due to your lighting, the shades on screen and on your eyes look so much lighter. Maybe a daylight shot would give a really good representation of the shades??
Just purchased this Palette! As always, it is beautiful! I wish I had the older one as those blue and green shades look amazing! This was a great deal for me at Ulta's as I had a coupon ($10 off $50 purchase) and rewards accumulated -so my purchase was under $34!!🎉🎉 I am not a big purchaser of shadows so this was calling to me!
Perspective is so funny. I have this but I find it to be very neutral as opposed to warm. Bronze is warm to me, I need a Nude on the cooler side of neutral and this one to be truly neutral.
Yes.. I have so much more than I need . I started with a basic makeup bag and now have an entire collection.. I have been working on trying to use what I have and sticking to the drugstore for now and purchasing high-end treats or birthday gifts or Christmas for the past 2 yrs.. I cannot afford honestly to continue trying to keep up with the launches ... I decided to go on a no buy the rest of the year after I pick up the new elf foundation and firework mascara from Maybelline lol❤ beautiful look ! I don't own the wet n wild palette yet and had my eye on it for awhile so I will go with that one for my birthday in October
I only am only interested in buying eyeshadow from Sydney Grace and Natasha Denona anymore and selectively. I am feeling the burn out. I think less releases would be better for ND. Something is special if it's rare and once it's overproduced it's not special anymore and starts to feel like a cash grab. Maybe one full pallette a year and two minis? Idk... just my thoughts.
I definitely feel that new makeup burn out. I notice I’ve started watching more content of people using or, my favorite, talk about their older items. The main reason I love makeup TH-cam was to bond over great makeup. Back in ABH or Urban Decay hay day they released one maybe two palettes a year. It gave us time to create, discovery, combine and overall throughly enjoy the product more throughly WITH our favorite TH-camrs. Now the makeup releases are so fast it feels like your watching your favorite TH-camr go speed date a bunch of products, only to never mention them again, there’s a disconnect. My favorite TH-camrs now consume makeup at such a fast rate that they rarely bring up the products I bought on their recommendation just last year. It doesn’t feel like I can get excited with them anymore unless I purchase at the rate they do. I recognize I’m not suppose to keep up, but because there is rarely any content going back to older favorites, the feeling of community or bonding has decreased and it’s turn to just pure entertainment.
Nice review, Mandy. Sometime, you really ought to try that “orangey” shadow. I felt the same way about that shade in the Cinderella palette and now it’s one of my favorites. Much more subtle than it appears in the pan and a nice contrast to blue eyes. 😊
You are right Mandy they look similar but there is no comparison to quality. Wet and Wild never stays on me all day even with eye primer. Natasha Denona never creases stays beautiful and fresh 16 plus hours ( I am nurse work long hours). This particular color scheme I would say most of us have this already in our collection it's a "neutrally" gold palette. Me, myself I love her stuff so much I buy almost everything she comes out with but never colors I wouldn't wear. So if you have this color scheme and only want it for the quality I say go for it. It's worth it. lol
Curious to check this one out in store. I admit I fell for the hype and got the I Need a Nude palette and I cannot figure out why everyone loves it so much. It’s very meh to me. My favorite is still the Glam palette!
Will probably buy this eventually. I wear neutrals almost every day. I have decluttered almost all of my eyeshadow except my ND midi palettes. Definitely not buying near what I used to across the board. Both due to economy and age tbh. Gorgeous look! ❤❤
Mandy, my favorite videos are the Full Face of Nothing New series. I don’t need to see every new release, but I like to listen to your voice and watch how you apply your makeup. (Although I bought the I Need A Nude palette and then could not wait for you to show how you used it.) Have you tried the new ELF foundation? I just enjoy watching you.
Loved your video! I have absolutely been more mindful with my spending on make up. I definitely still enjoy watching all the new releases but when I see something I already have…and I STILL WANT IT lol…I give myself a time frame not to buy it, until I finish the same item I already own. For example, no new mascara until I need a fresh or new mascara. Or no new bronzers until I finish the bronzer I currently own. And it takes me a while before I finish the product, but by the time I do, there is already a new(er) shiny item that I want in the same category and then I decide if I go for what I originally wanted or go for the shiny and new. That’s how I’ve started to limit my makeup shopping habits.
Hi! Love your videos - I wish you would review more Sydney Grace eyeshadows! I think I started collecting them because of You 😍but I rarely see anybody reviewing them! I have tried to get the monthly bundles when they seemed like they would work for me - and I think I probably have 100 singles LOL - I like the Sydney Grace stickers too 😉
This looks my perfect basic B Natasha denona pallete and what I should have bought instead of the retro pallette. Don’t get me wrong, I love the retro but I just don’t wear pink/purples enough and probably shouldn’t have bought it. I reach for my tartlette in bloom the most because it is super easy, that one is from 2020 so once that breaks/ gets too old I’m going to get this golden pallette. ND is my fav and I only want her shadows from now on!! ❤️❤️
Your videos are fun, you are good company. I would really like if you would also list your nail polish brand and color! Today's color is so summer fun!!
I have more than enough makeup for a non TH-camr and absolutely none of my family are interested in it. Most of my friends where foundation and mascara and maybe lip gloss That’s why I watch TH-cam…to see and hear from like minded makeup lovers😊
It's easy to get burnt out on the new releases, I wonder if others feel the same. I only say that because a handful of creators that I have watched on and off over the years are not uploading as much lately, so you tend to wonder if some creators are feeling it as well. I cannot use ND as her shadows are not vegan, saves me some money. My SG shadows are still my top favorite anyway. Nice eye look though.
I'm shocked no one mentioned any of the Juvias Place palettes, such as the original warrior palette, Nubian earth palette, coffee shop palette, or even the nomad palette. I love ND and her shimmers are great, but Juvias Place have a really great shimmer formula for half the cost. I'd love to see these palettes compared against the new ND palette.
Thanks for the reminder to pull the Warrrior palette out. I stopped at Ulta today for a pick up of some basics and swatches the new Gold palette. I actually wasn’t that impressed- maybe it was the store lighting but everything looked so similar. I think between the Warrior and my Naked Honey palette I’m good for golds. I have an Ulta gift my kids gave me for Mother’s Day that is still safely in my wallet (although I’m sure they’ll run the right sale eventually for me to find “something” to spend it on.😂
Beautiful look! I agree with you about the makeup burn out. There is so much out there and everything is repeated over and over with slight variations but nothing really new. For each new pallet I could eliminate 2 old ones.
I loooove an all matte look and a matte inner corner highlight! Even if many shades are similar, I will be able to change up the matte eyelid color more. I feel like with my I Need a Nude pallete, there are not enough lighter shades for the lid. The only shade I am able to use is Fair and no color for an inner corner highlight.
You created a beautiful look with this new pallette. I dont think i will ick this one up albeit beautiful and her formula is so good, i just have other things i could to create these looks. I do love your channel so much.
I have been saving my points at Ulta used some of them for this palette! I have found that if I save up for the higher quality palettes versus buying all the ones that seem to drop everyday. The higher end ones last longer go on so much better and wear better. Learn a lot from you and other makeup you tubers! Agree I am 60 and these go on like and dream. 🎉😊
Yep. I’m definitely burnt out. I also have way too much makeup to rotate through. I’m really reaching for staples when I do use makeup, and that’s it. The occasional new thing tempts me, but I’ve overall lost interest, or I can use something I already own that gives me a similar look (ie. rare beauty blushes). I own the OG gold palette, and will continue to use that. I do like that this one has some lighter gold champagne shades though.
I feel like you could get a lot of Jane Mancini (played by Josie Bisset) on Melrose Place from this palette. Her makeup was just beautiful on that show. Each week it was the same yet slightly different. It was so good.
I have watched that show a lot over the years as I have several seasons on DVD, I was watching it not too long ago and noticed how nice their makeup always looked, not too much, just right. Interesting that you said that. 😀
Hi Mandy, i honestly do not get all the hype over ND. I bought the 5 pan Mini Retro and Glam. Tried Retro never even opened Glam. My eyes didn't like the formula at all my eyes got red and irritated after 10 minutes. Washed my face and just did a tinted moisturizer and blush that day. Returned both and told Sephora what happened. I had the same reaction with CP shimmer pot shadows. My eyes definitely don't like glitter. Thank you for being down to earth and not hyping up expensive palettes.
I am considering decluttering my eyeshadow collection down to 1 large makeup bag. I still love makeup and eyeshadow in particular. Sydney Grace's Heaven on Earth + Blend Bunny's Noctilucent highlighter palette have been my creative joys lately. I love the beachy and earthy vibe. I've also been really digging the Sultry mini and Cold Smolder by Too Faced. Oh and Wildwood by Alter Ego. Auric's smoke reflects. Mmm. But yeah overall I have less interest in purchasing makeup. I do have a few palettes by Sydney Grace on my wishlist but since it's soo close, im waiting to see what is going on during the Christmas in July sale.
Pre-PS: First! lol always wanted to do that. I love the ND palette for inspo, but I am not a one-palette-look gal anyway, so ofc I have this duped a couple times over if I use my whole collection (large but not influencer large, I can remember what’s in all my palettes lol). It’s a gorgeous palette but seems very “buy so you can say you bought” - i would guess most non-influencers are buying it simply because they “collect” consumables. Even among only my three ND palettes, I have 9 shades that look very similar to ones in the gold palette. Gold has been very popular in the past few years lol…
Hi would you be open to showing home decor items on your channel or are you keeping your channel to just makeup? Love all your content! You are so inspiring!!
I am burnout of releases because of budget...rather see tutorials with older palettes to utilize what I already own. This was a beautiful palette, though...per ND usual. 😃
Pretty look. Very classy. And YUP, the burn-out is real. I love watching makeup being applied and getting hints and new methods (like Scott Barnes' technique of applying Aquaphor chapstick under consealer). The most helpful video I have seen of yours (I've enjoyed them all) was your skin care routine. The target of each ingredient, the order and time of day for applying, what not to use together, etc. The only time I'm tempted to run out and buy something is when it will help with a specific area of concern. Or if it's super affordable and the risk is low. Just bought a clean cream blush from the Dollar Tree that I love, and a new Wet n Wild summer pink lipstick that went right in the trash.😅 Thanks Mandy!
When I can afford it I’m going to buy this one. I made a mistake buying the I need a nude palette; rose tones on my grey/blue/green eyes were terrible. But these tones will be great. My old makeup geek shadows are getting old and I love mattes like tiki hut, had me at yellow etc.
Fully agree about ND shimmers. With some mehron, W&W looks great, but the ND texture is a whole nother level! It’s a sensory joy. BUT, I got all mine from Ipsy/boxy, at less than $7 per, in one case less than $2, it’s easy to love them lol. The one 5 pan I would pay full price for was “Cupid,” the one that was about $2 for me, and it’s an “exclusive,” which means not-as-good for ND, but I think it’s just leftovers from other palettes. Perfect freaking “fix it” palette with everything to polish up a look that has gone awry lol, even a deep brick red matte and I love pink and red leaning eyeshadow! And I don’t love how easily the larger pans break, I won’t pay full price for a 5 pan until the packaging is equal to the makeup quality. The bigger palettes are great, but I thought Cupid was a low quality palette (I didn’t know ND then) bcuz the mini’s plastic container is cheap AF and the lettering comes off upon contact with human hands.
Ughh...you make everything look amazing! I have never felt the pull for any of the ND pallets. This is the first one that intrigues me. I have med./warm skin with hazel eyes and these seem like the perfect neutrals. Someone convince me there is an equally good pallet to buy instead...hurry! :)
Thanks for bringing up the Wet & Wild palette. I already own that one and will definitely dig it out!! I am feeling a disconnect and that the market is over saturated. I have found that a lot of the time recently I watch a video of a new launch and think that’s nice but I’ll pass. I do appreciate that W&W palette comparison because I get to rock the look without spending $69!!
With the high prices of individual makeup at Sephora the Natasha Denona palettes do not even seem that expensive to me anymore….get the palette or get 2 blushes….it’s about the same $. Does that make sense? They’ve made all makeup cost so much that this palette almost seems like a good deal?
I got. The ND I Need a Nude and love it. It is the one of the few I own. It basically replaces my Chocolate Truffle palette (although I still have that one and smell it all the time 😂). I do have the ND mini Biba and am not fond of it. I wish I had bought a different mini. I do love her formula and variety of textures. I also love Sydney Grace shadows. I’m not sure I need this golden palette. I would have to see it in person. 🤷♀
Hi Mandy, I love the look of this palette, Natasha Denona is my favourite brand for eyeshadow palettes,no I am not burnt out as yet, I purchase eyeshadow palettes that add to my collection. Love Katherine xoxo
I have stopped with the hype of makeup and really curated what I’m willing to buy. ND is one that I will always give a look and if I like it, I will get it.
I have Glam and INAN (among others), and this one is too warm for me so ima pass. A touch of warmth and BAM!! Orange on me. The Glam is literally my dream, the INAN is tippling over the line of too warm but I can eke by with it. The Zendo was my only regret purchase…patchy, incongruent colour story.
I am sure the quality is good as usual from ND but for me it is not special enough and the shades are way too repetitive. The looks I have seen so far, all kind of look the same. Also because I am being much more conscious about make up purchases and focusing on what I already have, which is a lot, I am definitely passing on this one. I still love to watch videos like yours for inspiration, yours are always lovely and elegant ❤
This palette is my type of palette, love the color story, golds and neutrals are my favorites, but I have the original ND gold palette so probably won’t buy it. Very pretty palette though.
I'm burned out on lip tints and balms and liquid blushes I bought the golden pallette immediately! It's not beast mode glam I wish Pat McGrath would do a neutral with some warm mother ship that's like I need a nude , glam and golden had a baby. Oh also bored with more bronzers . Everyone copy cats so between costs and not very creative releases I've started a perfume collection.
There are certain things about makeup that I definitely am feeling burnt out about, particularly the giant PR halls that certain TH-camrs/influencers do. The excess of product that they get, which often they don’t even use, just seems insane to me and, when they share those massive unboxing videos it kind of makes me nauseous. I get why companies want to provide influencers with free product, but it just is an over abundance of stuff that seems so unnecessary andI can’t help but thinking about how much of that stuff ends up in landfill!
I thought I would come back again in hopes you would get rid of this filter, and lo and behold ITS STILL THERE!!! How the heck do you think makeup colors look with a filter@? lol 🤔😏
To my eye, this palette looks more neutral than warm, and there isn't enough contrast in it for me. It appears there is a light matte, a dark matte and all the others are midtone, I would have liked to have seen more of a gradient, and for that reason, I likely won't purchase it.
This palette is such a rip-off. She didn’t use hardly any different pigments. All the shades look very similar, just a little lighter and darker. All the shimmers look almost identical. She’s hardly using any pigments but still making eyeshadows just to put together an expensive midi palette, to price gouge us, while doing little work. I think this palette is absurd
I appreciate that you don’t overhype products. Nice to see what’s out but you help buffer the FOMO factor.

Pretty look! I’m going to pick up this palette. I think I will use it quite a bit. Thank you!😊
I never thought of the wnw palette being a dupe! Heather Austin also suggested the colourpop c3po palette as a good alternative as well! ❤
Such a lovely, classic look!
One more thought… I agree, it’s her (ND) shimmers! Beautiful.
This looks my perfect basic B Natasha denona pallete and what I should have bought instead of the retro pallette. I love drugstore they used to release new in January and August but right now it is constant and I am overwhelmed for sure.❤❤❤❤
The eye look is beautiful
Your videos are fun, you are good company. I would really like if you would also list your nail polish brand and color! Today's color is so summer fun!!
Mandy… have you ever used Scott Barnes pallets?
😮 My best lip gloss EVER is from Scott Barnes!
I have more than enough makeup for a non TH-camr and absolutely none of my family are interested in it. Most of my friends where foundation and mascara and maybe lip gloss

Log, Oro and Sandstone are also in the Natasha Denona mini gold ornament trio. Kinda bummed that I didn't know this before I ordered this.
I loooove an all matte look and a matte inner corner highlight! Even if many shades are similar, I will be able to change up the matte eyelid color more. I may be crazy but when you swatched the shimmers, on your pinky and ring finger, I think they were both alchemist 😮
You created a beautiful look with this new pallette. I dont think i will ick this one up albeit beautiful and her formula is so good, i just have other things i could to create these looks. I do love your channel so much.

just beautiful!!!!
I clicked so fast on this video. I always love your videos. Very insightful. It's a beautiful pallet.

Maybe colourpop Goin Coconuts? Just off the top of my head I haven't pulled it out in a while... Way cheaper than 70 bucks.
What nail polish are you wearing? It's beautiful! Thanks❤
Hi would you be open to showing home decor items on your channel or are you keeping your channel to just makeup? Love all your content! You are so inspiring!!
WOW that's awesome comparison.. I am going to purchase the wet n wild ❤
I bought it and love it. Also picked up her new highlighter match and lip gloss plump. ❤
Hair is 👌🏻ON👌🏻POINT👌🏻 today, Mandy!!
Stunning isn't it - what does she use?
Ughh...you make everything look amazing! I have never felt the pull for any of the ND pallets. This is the first one that intrigues me. I have med./warm skin with hazel eyes and these seem like the perfect neutrals. Someone convince me there is an equally good pallet to buy instead...hurry! :)
Meh for the palette. Not my best color story. But A+ for the presentation! Thanks Mandy!
Yes, I am a little bored with the constant releases. I don't spend more than $30 for any palette. There are too many good ones that are affordable.
Almost to 100K subscribers!! How exciting!
With the high prices of individual makeup at Sephora the Natasha Denona palettes do not even seem that expensive to me anymore….get the palette or get 2 blushes….it’s about the same $. Does that make sense? They’ve made all makeup cost so much that this palette almost seems like a good deal?
Would like to see it compared to Tarte In Bloom palette
Or the Juvia’s Place the Warrior palette. Thx!
Yes, would love to see this compared to tartlette in bloom since that’s my current go to basic easy pallette.
Yes feeling the burn out- i put myself on a make up moratorium. Just buying perfume and skincare - only buying makeup if I finish something else ❤
As a cool toned girl who struggled with the Bronze palette, is this more neutral leaning?
I have that and I was disappointed in the wear of it. It seemed to fade by later in the day, even though I used primer.
I would love to see a swatch comparison to Colourpop Precious Metals. I feel like that pallette has this completely covered.
I am definitely in the I have more than enough category especially with eyeshadow and blush. I’m on a very low makeup no buy right now.
Do I need this pallette?...no...Will I buy it ..Yes...Great to see a blonde blue eyed women review this...❤
I am not burned out eventhough I do have a lot of makèùp lol, I wonder how this pallette compares to the colouŕ pop golden hour pallette??
Have you thought about doing a q&a video?
This one looks right up my ally, and thanks to a $15 ulta coupon and $30 in points, just under $26 for me!! FTW!
I wish she made a mini but I don’t feel I want to pay almost 70$ on something so repetitive.
I mean she hasn’t released a big palette since autumn so it’s not like she’s pumping them out every month 😂
It’s the economy, inflation, not the makeup…I never have enough makeup ❤
I feel like this palette is very similar to the Urban Decay Naked Honey
Definitely burnt out with eyeshadow palettes…. I only have 2 eyes and a ton of palettes I can’t see ever using up.
Can you start listing your nail polish color in the description box ?
This palette is my type of palette, love the color story, golds and neutrals are my favorites, but I have the original ND gold palette so probably won’t buy it. Very pretty palette though.
I'm burned out on lip tints and balms and liquid blushes I bought the golden pallette immediately! It's not beast mode glam
I wish Pat McGrath would do a neutral with some warm mother ship that's like I need a nude , glam and golden had a baby. Oh also bored with more bronzers . Everyone copy cats so between costs and not very creative releases I've started a perfume collection.
Looks like the glam palette at first glance.
Your comment about the yellow gold is exactly what I did - funny isn't it? I guess that shade is hard to wear?
There are certain things about makeup that I definitely am feeling burnt out about, particularly the giant PR halls that certain TH-camrs/influencers do. The excess of product that they get, which often they don’t even use, just seems insane to me and, when they share those massive unboxing videos it kind of makes me nauseous. I get why companies want to provide influencers with free product, but it just is an over abundance of stuff that seems so unnecessary andI can’t help but thinking about how much of that stuff ends up in landfill!
This one doesn't excite me,it's to warm imo and brown, I'm so tired of brown ,it's way overdone
I thought I would come back again in hopes you would get rid of this filter, and lo and behold ITS STILL THERE!!! How the heck do you think makeup colors look with a filter@? lol 🤔😏
I am not spending almost $70 on an eyeshadow palette ... unless it makes me look like Gisele.
Did you realize that you swatched the same shade on your pinky and ring finger? That's why they looked similar to you
In all honesty, The quality of the Natasha palette is very different from the cheaper products.
glad you found a new palette as know you dont have any lol
I have a cool skin tone so I have no idea how many warm toned palettes a warm skin toned person needs. I don’t need this at all.
❤😊❤
To my eye, this palette looks more neutral than warm, and there isn't enough contrast in it for me. It appears there is a light matte, a dark matte and all the others are midtone, I would have liked to have seen more of a gradient, and for that reason, I likely won't purchase it.
Does she ever interacts with her subscribers?? 😏
I still like the original. The colors here are way too similar.. By the time they’re blended on your eye it all looks the same.
Exactly. Every eyeshadow look I’ve seen so far with this palette look identical
