I am impressed with the quality of it. I tried to buy it so many times and it was sold out. The only thing is that is small, hopefully they will do similar formulas with bigger packaging.
I had a Laura Mercier All Over Eye Brush that I used every day. I got it in 2009, I think. I gave it a proper sending off earlier this year. The bristles had become so short. Think elderly neighbor lady with a broom sweeping the asphalt driveway short.
Hahahaha. I still have this clinique brush that finally started to fall apart but I still kind of have it for the memories (along with my Naked palettes...)
I enjoy this type of video. I am tempted by the merit eyeshadow and would love to see other colors. In the sales I got the Chantecaille future skin foundation because I was running low and I really do love that foundation on my dry skin. I also got some of the cheetah collection which is super easy to wear and cute 🐈
I highly recommend the color Vachetta from the merit solo shadow. It’s warm leaning and I find that it works great as a base for lots of looks, as well as on its own.

I cannot believe that even you held out to get the VB Signature palette just in time for it being discontinued! So sad. This is so wonderfully smart and small. I love the layout as well.. highlight is the biggest shade, small liner stripe, perfection. Boy, i'll be mad if they switch to ordinary pans. Why did they never offer more options instead?
I am not quite sure. I wonder if people just aren't familiar with this format and so they didn't get it. Personally I thought that the palettes were all matte. When I got this one I was so pleased to see that it's kind of like a soft demi matte formula. I think maybe these would have sold better if they mixed together the shimmers and mattes. Cause the formula is def not an issue
@SofiaSeesBeauty i find they are one of few brands that actually offer great pictures.. but you're right, unusual design isn't popular. Tuxedo and Signature are both rather matte and all-matte palettes don't sell particularly bad. I was honestly hesitant bc they were bashed in the beginning and when i knew they were good i had more on my wishlist immediately yet Signature's lightest shades are darker than i prefer and Royal always had that scary blue in it. However, finally got them both and call it a day
I also love the Merit Social color. I bought a couple more colors on sale too. But I haven’t tried them yet. The shade online and in person are definitely different. But at least it’s still a pretty color. 🤷♀️
I love the Merit shadows. I have the shades Social and Studio and they’re such great one-and-done shadows. I’d love for them to expand the shade range a bit.

I loved the look of Visual Eyes! 😮 My brush that I’ve held on to is a 20 ish year old Clinique blush/powder brush that is so fluffy and has a beautiful silver handle. I think my mum bought it for me. I don’t use it anymore at all but it’s still in my brush holder with my (very very small) brush collection!
The VBB palettes are some of my all time favorites. They are just a never-fail and the user experience is unsurpassed. I keep them close to hand for whenever I need to get ready quickly and don’t have time to think too much. They just work AND are luxurious. If I lost everything, I’d want VBB Signature and the Prada palette with purple and brown. They’re both perfect. The concealer pen is awesome. I’m an Augustinus Bader devotée. I’m forty-five and taken for a minor (just happened on Friday lol) quite often. 🤗😂

That said, I already wear the Cle de Peau and found B10 too pinky/peach so I purchased the Light Ochre (too yellow) BUT, just like Goldilocks, I think you’ll find it’s perfect if you mix those two colors together!😮🎉😃 I know that when I blend them it’s a good match for me. Got some bits from Merit for the first time a few months ago and very impressed. Love the solo shadow in Studio, it's amazingly long-lasting and perfect for work and doesn't crease on me at all! I find that I have to apply with my finger though, I can't find a brush that applies it evenly but with the warmth of my finger it's really quick and easy.
Great haul Sofia! If I had realized that brush trio was what it was.. I would have absolutely bought that! I got a few of the Nikki La Rose brushes I didn’t have and a slightly bigger bronzer brush. I both think the merit shadows are gorgeous and also they don’t work the way I wanted them to. I have oily and hooded eyelids. The only primer that has ever worked for me is the fenty one. Even the Danessa Myricks color fix creases on me after a long day. Needless to say so do the Merit solo shadows. I bought Vachetta and I think you would love it. It’s a beautiful warm brown color but if I need a primer underneath, it doesn’t blend all that well and without one it creases. The only way I can get it to work is to use it as a base and then pack on powder shadows to set it and that sort of defeats the purpose. I had bought two but returned studio because I prefer the color of Vachetta. I’ve not figured out how to really enjoy these and it’s sad. I suspect I’m the minority here. I bought the Sireneuse palette and played with it today!
I was very curious about those newer Viseart palettes Even though they're full of shades I already own 😅😅they do look beautiful! I'm excited you bought the dark mattes!!! Would love to see some looks and how you would use these. I own it but am scared to use it 😂
I believe the limited edition Viseart palettes were like, remixes. They were new curations of shades from other palettes, mixed together. I think. I searched around, and never saw swatches or additional pictures. I was being good and trying to wait for a review, I’m not used to buying stuff without knowing everything about it first, anymore! So yeah, they were gone before I even knew what I was looking at.
Yes I have that one brush- a benefit fan brush from 1991. My oldest son was 4yrs old when I got the brush; he is 36yrs old now and I still have that brush.
Love the new background shelving! (TBH, I never really cared for the clothing rack…thought it made the background look a little messy. But, maybe that’s only me?) Definitely a vote from me on keeping it the way it is now! Beautiful new makeup and look too!
Although Dior Foundation Stick and Chantecaille’s Future Gel Foundation are fabulous on my mature/combo/oily complexion, the Cle De Peau Radiant Natural Foundation still reigns! But OUCH, it’s expensive!
I can see why VB is discontinuing her eyeshadow palettes. I have the signature palette and this shadow disappears off your eyelids after 2 hours. Not a good formula at all.
I am the same I have a bare minerals brush from HS 🫣🤭😅 it’s so tattered but still works amazing lol and I got to much from the Black Friday sale to name but I did get the same free mood blush from the Merit sale. I have been really wanting to try Victoria Beckham beauty for awhile now this might be the motivation I needed to make a purchase. I also want to try surrat beauty too 🤩 so many goodies to try. I also don’t care for the merit single eyeshadows to dry for me and I’m an oily combo girl also my eyeshadows oxidated on me so bummer. some of their lipsticks oxidate on me too so sad

Social and studio are the best shades of the merit shadow. Agree that they don’t look like the website photos! In person, much softer and wearable.

Got some bits from Merit for the first time a few months ago and very impressed. Love the solo shadow in Studio, it's amazingly long-lasting and perfect for work and doesn't crease on me at all! I find that I have to apply with my finger though, I can't find a brush that applies it evenly but with the warmth of my finger it's really quick and easy.

Great haul Sofia! If I had realized that brush trio was what it was.. I would have absolutely bought that! I got a few of the Nikki La Rose brushes I didn’t have and a slightly bigger bronzer brush. I both think the merit shadows are gorgeous and also they don’t work the way I wanted them to. I have oily and hooded eyelids. The only primer that has ever worked for me is the fenty one. Even the Danessa Myricks color fix creases on me after a long day. Needless to say so do the Merit solo shadows. I bought Vachetta and I think you would love it. It’s a beautiful warm brown color but if I need a primer underneath, it doesn’t blend all that well and without one it creases. The only way I can get it to work is to use it as a base and then pack on powder shadows to set it and that sort of defeats the purpose. I had bought two but returned studio because I prefer the color of Vachetta. I’ve not figured out how to really enjoy these and it’s sad. I suspect I’m the minority here. I bought the Sireneuse palette and played with it today!

I like your videos. I don't know if it's the lighting but I see your tone as cool not warm. The ocher has a very yellowyellow/orange base.
I think it's just the lighting! I film in natural light with no filters and my room pulls a little green

I believe the limited edition Viseart palettes were like, remixes. They were new curations of shades from other palettes, mixed together. I think. I searched around, and never saw swatches or additional pictures. I was being good and trying to wait for a review, I’m not used to buying stuff without knowing everything about it first, anymore! So yeah, they were gone before I even knew what I was looking at.

I did not find that to be true. I honestly confused by those reviews
I have several colors and have never experienced any creasing. I actually use them when I want something that lasts all day.
You know this is completely dependent on skin type, base and other factors...it probably would be safer to go buy someone that matches your skin type

I can see why VB is discontinuing her eyeshadow palettes. I have the signature palette and this shadow disappears off your eyelids after 2 hours. Not a good formula at all.

I am the same I have a bare minerals brush from HS 🫣🤭😅 it’s so tattered but still works amazing lol and I got to much from the Black Friday sale to name but I did get the same free mood blush from the Merit sale. I have been really wanting to try Victoria Beckham beauty for awhile now this might be the motivation I needed to make a purchase. I also want to try surrat beauty too 🤩 so many goodies to try. I also don’t care for the merit single eyeshadows to dry for me and I’m an oily combo girl also my eyeshadows oxidated on me so bummer. some of their lipsticks oxidate on me too so sad
