      **REALLY** Thank you for making me lol like not before this day:
      0:40 "To make the work faster"
      Yeah. *in unreal ?*
      i mean: in **THIS ENGINE** every Workflow needs not lesser than 10 time more than for example in Unity ?
      Make it faster ?
      you will tell me, unreal find a way, to do **ONE SINGEL THING** Without to need HOURS for the same Result in Unity done into secundes ?
      **Great** LOL.
      thank you, this was made my day.
      Fast Workflow in Unreal, this is same like Aliens told us, they living on the moon.

    I'm really looking forward to Verse. I am a C++ developer by trade, but using it for small personal projects really sucks the fun out of Unreal. Having a higher level programming language that's easy to use, but scales better than Blueprint will be a nice middle-ground, though I think most of the big developers will most likely stick to C++.

    • @laurenpinschannels
      @laurenpinschannels ปีที่แล้ว +2

      verse is an extremely weird programming language in really interesting ways, it might bend your brain a bit - if you haven't looked at it I'd summarize it as being like if you wrote your entire program in template metaprogramming but at runtime. it .... might be similarly hard to debug, for the same SFINAE reason ...

      @Dealman15 ปีที่แล้ว

      What's so bad about it? I'm a C# developer by trade and I find it quite easy to get into, far more so than "normal C++" in that it feels a bit more like a scripting language aside from the compiling and headers/cpp files.
      I don't know what Unreal Sensei is smoking, but you definitely do not have to re-compile the engine for every small change you make.

    • @laurenpinschannels
      @laurenpinschannels ปีที่แล้ว

      nothing bad about it. it has some really cool paradigms. control flow is very odd in it, the way it handles errors and exceptions and set values are all very interesting

    I think it would be really good if the procedural content generation could start working with assets for example you tell it you want a house with three stories two doors in the look of Tudor and it will go and generate something random for you. It would be even better if people could have these types of procedural generations templated and put on the assets store so someone’s assets they make won’t look exactly the same in the game that you build

      I agree, have to learn another language now. Let's hope it worth the effort.

    • @kazioo2
      @kazioo2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Then maybe that's good? Unreal needs serious competitors. Unity not having good competitors in mobiles is the reason they started neglecting their core base. C# can't be used for the purpose described by Epic (transactions, truly global internet variables and modules). This isn't just some scripting language. They are trying to do new things never done before.

    • @TheBelrick
      @TheBelrick ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kazioo2 My 2 cents. Unreal overtook unity because it has had better leadership. You can see the thought that went into each decision. Not only that, they really do seem like decent people. They didn't have to invest the fortnite golden egg back into the community. But they did.

    Okay, but Verse wasn't designed _for_ Unreal Engine, it's designed to be great for all engines :D
    Also, It's not just for people that don't want to code in blueprints or C++, but it's designed to be the most expressive language used in the domain of multi-user videogames.
    So, as a multiplayer (or metaverse [if you want]) developer, you should be able to do more with less code in Verse, as compared to C++, blueprints, C#, Java, JS etc, meaning ultimately, less complicated and easier to manage game code, so better games!

    I wonder why they went with Verse and not use Python instead?
    You can use Python in Unreal but not at runtime. Was there some sort of limiting factor?

    You mentioned it will release later in the year for unreal engine, would you happen to have the article or video where they mentioned that? I am super excited for it but wanted to get a sense of a release timeline for unreal engine.

    hiee I simply lovvve your tutorials but can you also make a tutorial on sequencer for animation! That would be a great help to learn about it in detail.

    I first heard of Epic Games years ago when Fortnite battle royale was announced. I started playing it a lot as soon as it got released and they build my whole childhood! Seeing what they are doing now is just so amazing! People’s biggest dreams are coming true thanks to Epic. I just really can’t thank them enough for giving us all of this, for free 🔥

    Seems to me unreal is fully preparing for the metaverse. I could see all these tools like fab, large worlds, the new peogramming language, could have a great program like the old Active Worlds. Tons of little games people make with huge libraries of items.

    Without Unreal Engine I couldn't be following my dreams of publishing games and getting out of this job I hate. Love seeing this stuff and people so hyped about it

    Blender + Substance Painter + Unreal = Full game development and 3d animation package

    • @smokingheadstudiogerman5299

      Blender is nice.
      Substance Painter = Performance and Graphic Memory Killer, if you not know **HOW** to do it right.
      Unreal == the best Way, to do slow motion, and needing 10 lifes to do a game.
      **BETER CHOICE**
      blender,
      UV Mapping **IN BLENDER**
      unity.
      that s the way it works.

    • @smokingheadstudiogerman5299
      @smokingheadstudiogerman5299 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Arthr0 what "updates" you talking about ?
      Fu...ing nano ?
      do not overrate it.
      lumen ?
      we got same lightning possibilitys in unity.
      dont understand what you mean ?
      and for real: i work with an old Unity version, i do not need "HDRP" or "URP" for that.
      not needet.
      the Built in can handle the same.
      And other things are really - not to annonce.
      Because:
      for example: "Meta HUman", okay, it s nice.
      Daz is also a solution *and*
      Meta Human Face Records, you need to do them.
      For big studios ? okay.
      For Indis ? you cant give all your ppl solo Animations for every sh...t, and face Impressions, are mostly "Shi..t" the game not really needs to come forward, this you can do with teams from + 20 and more ppl or highter.. Not as an indi.
      So this is not a + in Unreal, to talk from indi Staff.
      big studios often, uses there own engines.
      For example: Assasains Creed or other.
      or cyberpunk
      And do not use Unreal.
      the Focus for Video and Cinematics there, is great.
      **BUT**
      you need to raytarget every shit, and in this case, we also out as Indis.
      *for what are they good, your tools ?*
      I see nothing there.
      Blue Print system for example, is 10 times slower, very bad compfort, and need to be "Learned" from Scratch, just if you are a **PRO** in C++ , you can do **NOTHING** without learning visual Coding trash.
      Schader Graphes, also Unity have. I hate this trash. Better to write your Schader at Hand, you have Control over more, and can write a good performet schader, not this Click trash.
      "Mega Scans" it s not only unreal what can use them, think about yout Graphics card memory. Or do you only want to sell your game to the 2% ppl having RTX 4070 what is on end of Life in the Case of Last of us ?
      Think about...
      So:
      every step you work, is 10 times more, than i need in unity.
      You will **NEVER** be so fast with unreal, than a Unity project can do.
      And in the Indi Dev Class, we will look identical...
      there will be no difference...
