I can’t live without mine either ! I have read the series 3-4 times now. They are so worn out, I’m actually afraid to reread them as physical copies. 😂 I did find them on Kindle Unlimited, so that made me very happy if I need a familiar read.
My grandma had the most beautiful book shelves and statues in her house. After she passed, I didn’t want anything but a few books I remembered from her house and a statue I always thought was her when I was a kid. The books are these stunning, highly-decorative tomes, and the statue is a Greek-style statue. I totally get where you are coming from in just holding a book to feel like they are close. I will touch the spine, take the book down, browse the pages, or stare at the statue when I miss her. She believed in guardian angels too, so if anyone is needing someone to look after them, my grandma would love to be that for you. 💜
I think I initially found you through a bookshelf tour a couple of years ago! I saw the shelves and aesthetic of the channel, heard your humor, and I was locked in forever. I imagine you’ll bring in even more subscribers with this updated shelf tour, as you deserve!
Oh my goddess, I ADORE that beginning, Lexi! Sooo excited for this! Your confidence and growth throughout these years have skyrocketed, and we are LIVING for it!
I cannot live without the Harry Potter series. These books came out when I was 9 and they are the reason I love to read. I try to reread them every other year or so to keep the magic alive and when I’m in a reading slump as a way to kind of remind myself why I love to read and visit new worlds ☕️
☕️ The books I would save in a fire are my signed first editions of The Books of Blood by Clive Barker. I love them. I met my husband when I was in university and we worked in a bookstore together. We have a lot of books. He collects first edition Sherlock Holmes and other antiquarian books, so we have had to get insurance just for all the books (he has some worth thousands each). We have saved pictures and a description list to the cloud in case anything ever happens.
☕️ I have a few books that I would try and save. They are: Harry Potter, Ninth House series, Mastering the Art of French Murder, and my Skeletion Creek series.
Every time you make a new library tour, I'm always so impressed!! You make them all so unique and stunning in different ways every time!!! love your channel
Hi Lexi, ypur bookshelves are so aesthetically pleasing to look at. You can feel the love for your collection as you recommend books to us, and how you display them throughout your home. Beautiful, thank you for sharing the tour of all your books. ☕
My favourite book up until last year was The Beach by Alex Garland but then I finally read Anne of Green Gables (having started it several times as a child) - I loved it and would have really loved it 38 years ago so that would be the one I would save - it’s of an age but so charming and feel good, lots in there to make you smile 😊
So happy to see someone recommending the pillars of the earth. No one ever seems to talk about it, but it’s been like my all time fave for 15 years now
I love your book shelves so much!!! Do you just spend hours looking at them! So book I would save is a toss up between my childhood books. Maybe Little Bear or my Little Golden Books! ☕️
I would save The Secret History. Its my favorite novel, and I have read it so many times, its in tatters. I have loved it since 1994. Its the novel I could read again and again until I die. I love your library, and I love that your reading is so varied. So many booktubers read only fantasy, and while I love fantasy (not high fantasy, for some reason), I think you should read a lot of genres.
I can’t live without Harry Potter series I don’t reread books that often but I have continuously reread HO since the first time xoxo 😚 🎃🤎❤️🤎🍃🍃🎃🎃❤️🍁🍁📖📖📚📖❤️🤎🎃🍃👻👻🍃🤎❤️🍁🍁📖📚📖📙📙📙👻👻🍃🤎❤️🤎🎃🍃👻👻🤎🤎❤️🍁🍁📖📖📖❤️🤎🎃🍃🍃👻📙📙👻👻🍃🎃🤎❤️🍁❤️🤎🍁🍁🍁📖📚🤎🎃🍃🍃👻📙📙🍃🎃🤎❤️🍁🍁📚📖📖
The one book I would have to save from a fire has to be 84 Charing Cross Road. That is the book that got me into reading Books about Books, into collecting books, and into bibliography. I have read this book numerous times. Watched the movie numerous times. Brilliant Book. Most of Helene Hanff's other books are great reads as well, but this one was the FIRST ONE!!!
The one book that I can't live without would have to be Anne of Green Gables, which was a big inspiration for me in my childhood, with the character of Anne speaking to my soul. A book that I would save from a fire would have to be my dad's childhood copy of the Lord of the Rings which he read the entirety of to my and my younger sisters when we were growing up. Thank you so much for this lovely video! 💕☕
I absolutely fall in love again and again whenever I watch your bookshelf tour videos. Your sweet nature plus your cozy library just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy. I honestly wish to have a library just like this too with a ladder and all. You are awesome!! Loads of love to you and keep growing 💗💗

Hi Lexi! You have a beautiful collection. Love your bookshelves. I have an old hardbound copy of Little Women that my late boss gifted me years ago. That is my most prized book
Wow, this was such a cozy video to watch, I hope to continue to do this every year, I don't think I can live without the picture of Dorian gray and Emma. ☕️ ☕️ ☕️
I agree with everything everyone has been saying except for those mentioning books they'd save because I have not read those yet. Your library is amazing! I would love to have those shelves!!! I'm hoping I never go through a fire in my apartment because I have too many books to save. I can't pick just one because they cost me a lot of money I spent a lot of time saving and don't have money to just throw away like that or to buy these books again so I would rather not have to think about fires, although living in a building full of mentally ill people, I think I should start planning fast. I hope you have an amazing month!! I'm exercising now and Sunday is gonna be one of my only off days so I will be able to see your videos when they get posted which makes me happy.
The one book I cannot live without is the Dark Hunter series. I picked this book up when I was a teenager and was blown away by it. The book I'd save in a fire is all my Kevin Kwan books. He's my favorite author of all time and I would be devistated if any of his books were left behind. ☕
I loved Disney's Beauty and the Beast. That scene when she's on the library bookshelf ladder is one of my favorites.... and OMG the library in the Beast's castle!!! 😁😁😁😁🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love the tour! I just love looking at other people's bookshelves. A book I can't live without is The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher - this story always moves me to want to write. Saving one book from a fire, that would be a family cookbook that was put together when my great-grandmother passed away. This has her recipes, my grandmother and her sisters' recipes, recipes from my mom and aunt. I was too young to have any in there, but I have notes on recipes I have tried and made my own. I would hate if all that was lost. ☕🦊
Thank you for the tour. Your bookshelves are beautiful and so well organized. I'm just now trying to get into classics and need to watch your video on reading classics. The one book I can't live without is the Bible.
If my house were burning and I could only rescue one- Old Sadie and the Christmas Bear. My mom read to me while I sat on her lap every Christmas as a kid. It took years to get my hands on a copy
Love the format of this tour! (Yet another sign I need to read Pillars of the Earth, you must have at least a thousand books and that's one of the ones you deem worthy of pointing out) ☕
Those bookshelves! I’ve been searching around for shelf inspo and it’s so hard to find anyone who doesn’t use those sterile/boring white ikea shelves. Books are reminiscent of a warm, rustic hobbit hole type vibe & I think the best way to showcase them is with rich wood tones. I love the ladder too, my dream is to have a bookshelf ladder one day 😭

Love this video lexi !!! ❤ so happy i found you ! You brought me back to reading ! Thank you! It would be so hard to choose 1 book. I do have two books that I got when I was a kid from a little book store that my dad would Take me to when we did our yearly camping trip to out favorite place. It was a old 2 story house converted to a book shop , full of books from floor to Ceiling and a rickety stair case going to the second level with books along that to . It was something out of a fairy tale in my mind, and that's when I really fell in love with books ❤ anyways the books are called black Stalion and flame. I recently found out it was a sequel cause I found the first one and a old old book called Nature stories . Full of stories for kids lol ❤ great memories with my dad!
I am 46 and I grew up reading Sweet Valley Twins, The Babysitters Club, Judy Blumes books Otherwise Known as Shelia The Great, Are You There God it's me Margaret, Superfudge..such Nostalgia. I usually stick to my series but I do stray to some Disney books. One book I couldn't live with out would be Rebecca Daphne DuMaurier.
I cant live without The Harry Potter series. I don't reread books often but I have continuously reread HP since the first time. ☕️
Harry Potter truly shaped who I was growing up (11 year old me is still sad I didn’t get a letter) completely understand this decision ❤️❤️❤️
I agree! Nobody speaks about Harry Potter anymore!❤
I can’t live without mine either ! I have read the series 3-4 times now. They are so worn out, I’m actually afraid to reread them as physical copies. 😂 I did find them on Kindle Unlimited, so that made me very happy if I need a familiar read.
