Brandon, you got the Gift. I guess you gotta keep creating. I wish you all the best! Be a Lifeplayer! In service of life! Pretty Epic Speach there 18:15... I was about to quit after the first 10 minutes...but I knew, something VALUABLE would come, and it more than did.
I've been following you in YT pre H2BAA, during the podcast, and will continue thereafter. I dug that Green Monk started from Tarkovsky, enjoyed your commentary while drawing, and followed your journey into H2B. I wasn't always into the topics you delved into, but I heard most of them all the way through. I always looked forward to see what was next. You were creating something I was seeking, and even if my interests didn't always align, the personal vision behind the show kept me intrigued. Your honesty and thoughtfulness were the draws, and they're the same reason I respect the retirement of H2B, even if it will be missed. Best wishes to you in your future creations, and health and fulfillment to you and your family.
Being in the same place mentally, it's really... reassuring to hear someone else talking on this topic. When you're in a loop like that and not surrounded by same-minded people, you can really start making yourself miserable and surrounding yourself in a bubble. Thank you for your videos!
I have been drawing for 35 years or so, and I don't know why I do this anymore. I have a pretty large following on instagram. It used to mean something to me. Now, I have no art direction, no art motivation, and I really don't enjoy doing it anymore. Drawing stresses me out. The problem is, I can't stop drawing.

Thanks Francisco. You've been one of the most consistent voices of support throughout this project.
I'm happy you still post! Do you think you will do another sketchbook summer or something similar that brings the community together? :)
"something similar that brings the community together?" Yes, but it may not be quite what you think.
And now I have rewatched it....curious.

I big part of the process is finding the right people. That may be the only part of the process that really matters.
