- This Is Not The End is my short film that I submitted to the Hoyt Lifeblood Film Contest. My film placed in the top 5 and can be viewed on their channel and website www.hoytlifeblood.com. As I type this I am awaiting the results of the winning film!
My film documents the bow hunting experience and the challenges that come with filming a hunt, as I follow expert hunter Derrick Gherna during his 2020 deer season. As a non-hunter, this film also documents my thoughts and feelings throughout the process as I quickly fall in love with the sport.

Nice man! What a great experience! I haven't been hunting since I was a kid. But would love to get back into it now that my kid is getting to that age.
Thanks for watching! This process definitely inspired me to get into it. I think some important lessons for kids to learn while hunting too.
One of the best archery documentary I've watched yet, and I've watched a lot. Really cool to get a doc from the videographer perspective and not the usual "I'm the hunter, so I'm the star", over dramatic classic angle. Good stuff. Out of curiosity, what's your pant/jacket matchup. Looks neat and seems to be a pattern I'm not familiar with so doesn't look like first line or other trendy overpriced line
Hey Mathieu! Really appreciate you watching and your comment! Love to hear feedback as this was one of my first short films. Unfortunately I was rocking Kuiu the whole time haha. But they were borrowed from the hunter in this film. I'm not sure what pattern. We're getting ready to start shooting for August hunts soon, might have to put another short film together. Thanks man!
