HOLY SMOKES! Mad respect! That hunt was INSANE! So happy for these guys. And the video work was excellent; especially under those brutal conditions. Great edit! Well done.
You guys are nuts to hunt in such hard conditions, and must be so tough to do this....guess that makes you tough nuts. Seriously - this Aussie has hunted going uphill in snow (in New Zealand) & I remember how absolutely exhausting it was. So props & respect to all of you. You need some snow camo.. hahaha.Fantastic camera work... the forgotten third member. Great post production. What camera did you use? Fantastic trophy. As the years roll by those heads on the wall are all you have left - but the memories never fade. Well done!
As much as these hunters are fucking beasts for doing this hunt. The fucking camera crew are insane. Carrying cameras and batteries and laptops and all that gear just to capture this. Shout out to those guys
Awesome hunt guys!!! I've been fortunate to harvest a bighorn in Alberta. Shot a 170 with the rifle at 50 yards back 15 years ago. I feel like I won the lottery that year. Some of the toughest hunts you can do. It's always hard looking for that 4/5ths curl. Unreal with the bow.
How do you keep your pump water filter from freezing? Do you sleep with it and keep it close to your body during hunts or do you just try to drain it as best as possible and hope it doesn’t freeze?
I always respected bow hunters. Bow hunting is so much more difficult "trust me I tried it" which is why I look at bow hunters as true hunters. 👍 no crazy 200 to 300 yard shots. If your doing all that why even wear camo lol bow hunters even up playing field and I Repect that to the Max
Finally a Video with some real hunting, no bullshit! Shooting at subfreezing temperatures after that hike has to be respected! Question: Folding or fixed broadhead used?
Hike up there in summer all the time 10 min drive from my house. Lots muleys WT and sometimes elk lower. I bow hunt here in my back yard all the time. Just haven't done sheep.
Good hunt. Congrats. I thought in Alberta you can wear white camo? This would have made more sense. Might as well as just wearing regular hiking clothes.
Probably too much up and down elevation to be useful. But maybe if they have a long, flat trail in and out just for access in the valleys. But even then you'd still have a lot of ups and downs.
Helps when you have a cellular game camera at the top of the mountain, should be illegal. How is that fair chase? These guys just showboat and ruin it for the rest of us.
Hey hoyt archery why did u stop selling bows to my favor local bow shop because he didn't sell enough zolume? I've only ever shot hoyt ive been loyal to u but might switch because of this
"Thanks for sharing the location! It sounds like a great area that has sheep and I will definitely check it out next year!" -The hundreds of hunters that are going to turn the trail head into a parking lot.
Completely overpriced bows. When I saw them up close the dip jobs were atrocious. Probably the reason you guys started just powder coating and painting them.
One guy has Kuiu. The other has Sitka. Yet they both have Stone Glacier packs. Glad we can all agree on the best packs around!
Nope, Exo Packs for life. 😂
Kifaru for life lol
Mystery ranch is better
EXXOOO!
@@bipolarbear69 mystery ranch 🤣

Next level hunters. Lots of guys in Alberta will chase sheep their whole lives with a gun and never get it done. Awesome work guys
These guys made this hunt look alot easier than the reality. Serious hunt guys! Congrats
Impressive - country, weather, physical effort, story, filming - and ram. Congrats to all of you!

Nice shooting after a brutal stalk in some beautiful country. Congrats! Awesome video!

Incredible film y'all. Absolutly beautiful nothing but respect for everyone involve
"Brutal" is an understatement. Congratulations!
Unbelievable hunt. Nice work!
heard the story on the Hoyt podcast and had to watch this video, great hunt!
Respect to all involved especially the cameraman. Great stuff.
Well they did tell us snow would be a thing of the past, lying scammers.
Congrats Craig great film... Congrats Lamb on taking out a Big.Horn SHEEP
SG Packs...check
Hoyt Bows...check
In killer shape to hunt in those drifts at THAT altitude....CHECK!!
Bravo
Awesome video,Great shot man ,beautiful animal, taken with an AWESOME bow.
most hunters can do it with a rifle, very few will do it with a bow, the most satisfying way.. Tough hunts, congrats on a job well accomplish.
He hit that treee limb with his arrow and still connected on the shot. Unreal. Congrats guys,
Beautiful one boys. Way to giver eh
Awesome hunt! Savage mode to the extreme. Amazing attitudes.
that camo gear really makes a difference on those snow tops
Great job fellas. Enjoyed this vid!!
Great video! Love these kind of bow hunting videos.
Kuiu vs. Sitka! What’s up!
Yet they both have Stone Glacier packs. That’s how you know what’s up. Simply nothing better
I hope this video doesn’t blow this spot up. Lots of guys hold it pretty dearly and close to their hearts
Seriously. Showing identifiable features on an over the counter sheep area is bad form.
IT does!!!! I bet there 1000 guys from Calgary on that mountain next fall.
How do you keep your pump water filter from freezing? Do you sleep with it and keep it close to your body during hunts or do you just try to drain it as best as possible and hope it doesn’t freeze?
Glad to call this province home, got my eye on a big bastard for when I get my tag🙏🙌
way to get after it! no quit, congrats!
Solid shot at that distance and conditions!🇺🇸🏹👍🏻
Why does the arrow look like it flails out of control after he hit the branch?
It doesn’t look like he hit it, but not sure how the ram could be dead
Unbefreakinlievable! What a story! What a hunt! You guys are studs. What was your range on that shot?
Well done fellas!
Absolutely incredible
Sweet hunt! Congratulations!
Wow , awesome hunting vidéo👌 congrats your hunter 🤘🏹
Nice 3/4 curl !!!
Would be nice to see fixed broadheads on your arrows, how did the mechanical do on that Ram ?

Awesome hunt, and nice Ram.
Sorry if I missed in the video but how long of a shot was it ultimately
Were you using the VTM 31 or VTM 34?
Dudes that's bad ass! 🤘🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦🤘
BADASS hunt and video congrats
How far was the shot? It appeared in the video it was way out there. To make that shot at that altitude and wind is amazing.
Epic hunt, what a mountain.
Good shot. How many yards? I assume it would be around 60 yards?
The Hunt is a cool.
Dudes are motoring up that mountain!
Finally a Video with some real hunting, no bullshit! Shooting at subfreezing temperatures after that hike has to be respected! Question: Folding or fixed broadhead used?
mechanical ....looks like a NAP spit fire
I know exactly where that is, congrats guys, I called that one Roman.

Phenomenal!
Great video! But the woodland colours in the snow cracks me up. Blend in pretty well near the grass and trees but out in the open not so much
Perfect!
What did you take? 3kg meat and the head?
amazing...👍
The first animal I ever wanted to hunt since I was probably 8 years old.
sheep are overated
@@craigmurray5367 maybe, maybe not. When I was a kid I remember watching the rams/sheep on the huge steep mountain sides and it was majestic.
Looks like those dudes would have benefited from a pair of snowshoe a couple of times. 🤙🏼
Good hunt. Congrats. I thought in Alberta you can wear white camo? This would have made more sense. Might as well as just wearing regular hiking clothes.
What a crazy place to hunt. Pretty sure that’s right south of Canmore.
Its left of highway LOL dumb ass comment!
I thought he'd missed since it hit the tree branch right in front of him
Couple distinct features easily give that hunting spot away.....been there many a time
I am wondering if skis in that environment would be useful.
Probably too much up and down elevation to be useful. But maybe if they have a long, flat trail in and out just for access in the valleys. But even then you'd still have a lot of ups and downs.
Do you have an agent in mainland China?
wow.
Helps when you have a cellular game camera at the top of the mountain, should be illegal. How is that fair chase? These guys just showboat and ruin it for the rest of us.
Nicked the tree and still killed him. WTG
Looks like the same bow I run. ventum pro 30. Things rip

What does they do with meat ??? She’s waste?

Wrong….it’s not Canmore. I grew up in Canmore . You are way off. Nice try at guessing from the video.
Completely overpriced bows. When I saw them up close the dip jobs were atrocious. Probably the reason you guys started just powder coating and painting them.
I got my Ventum Pro 33 for $980 usd for that price it was worth it, but I will admit my V3X 33 is a much better quality build/finished piece of gear.
What’s his bow set up anyone know ?
Do you guys have to hunt to survive?
