It’s funny. The thing is completely friendly with the kids even when they are freaking themselves. He just wants those pets and scratches. Well, a few yum yums wouldn’t hurt, lol. Too cute.
I would put front line or advantage on him to kill any tics or fleas , keep a bucket of uncooked corn outside for him , and bucket of water , if I had a garage, make a bed out of hay , and keep him safe until hunting season is over. The one friendly deer I was blessed to meet was a young buck that the community feeds. No one hunts , but the risk of getting hit by a speeding car exists .
ya he can live in the garage; make him a straw bed; hay n oats; bucket of water; and a tv put on the wildlide channel so he can llay down while muching and watch his friends get ravaged by wolves cuz they were too dumb to make human buddies...
Reminds me of being a kid camping with my family. The state forest campground was very rustic and there was a deer which would come into the camp and walk around. All the kids (and adults I'm sure) that it was really cool.

Raised Deer once, extremely skittish animals, very difficult to deal with unlike sheep and goats. Anyways this is not normal behavior even for deer that were nursed and raised by humans.
Looks like he has some scars on his back. My guess is that he was injured, probably caught in a barb wire fence when younger, and was rescued and nursed back to health by another human. This is why he seems to have absolutely no fear of humans and approaches them willingly.
i wish that would happen to me outside my front door!!! such a cute thing
I know, right? I live in an apartment in the middle of a big city, so this would literally never happen to me.

a VERY young buck, He is just getting his antler buds.
accualy it could be a grown adult.bucks shed theryre antlers at a certain time
Oh, I didn't know that. He seems a little small for an adult
James Noll in our area he would have antlers if he was older. We usually call them a button buck. You could see the nubs but no real antlers yet.
the antlers already fell off, look when the video was posted
Too precious I hope no one hurts it
i wish! That would really make my day if i got up, made a cup of java, went out the back door and a deer came walkin over to say, 'sup dude'

Precious deer. Looks like he's had a rough time in the forest. So many scars on his body. With little nubs, horns. Probably hungry too. 💞
