yeah , recently someone said he did not have a choice but to invade, I watch these videos to restore faith in humanity. As of today this gentleman is 10 times better than me , but he inspired me to be better try harder and do more and go to the extra mile doing something good and kind , helping someone or an animal.

A choice to starve a bear cub to death
This man is among the most incredible people I've ever seen. Lying in a field with that baby deer he helped raise so she could try to have the opportunity to find her own kind...that's a level of human is what we all should aspire to be.
And all she wanted to do was love on him and give him kisses lol
This man should be honored. He never gave up on the baby deer and gave her a chance in life with good legs.This man preserved and reunited her with her mommy. An amazingly beautiful gesture and I am totally impressed with both him and his doggie for giving this little fawn a chance to live with her mom and sibling.

He's so great making a brace for her little leg. It was so great to see her running around looking so healthy. When he's lying there trying to release her and she is licking his face 😂. She did recognized him, that's why she stopped by, and just looked, but because she was reunited with her family, and was older, grew up in the wild, she was at home and content. I love when people help animals. ❤

Dude.. it was a year later, It was very young back then and her memory capacity was probably very low.. It's not a human brain .

The saddest part is the second look that the deer gives when it’s grown up.
The first look is noticing a dangerous human.
But the second is as though part of her remembers that at one time he was not so dangerous.

He said she doesn’t recognize him but she does, she wouldn’t take that second look if she didn’t, however she’s no longer imprinted so he’ll never get that close to her again because she’s back to being a wild animal.

I personally don’t think she didn’t recognize you, I think her stopping and staring was her recollecting her time with you, but after being with the herd for so long she’s become accustomed to a deer’s natural instinct again is all!
Probably for the best. Being too trusting of humans could be a disadvantage for a deer, like if they tried to befriend a hunter.
Summer Skull I agree with you completely. My thought process on it was she’s just grown accustomed to staying away from humans as part of her nature again, and she was also probably afraid of being left behind again if she had approached him.
Couldn't agree more. If she didn't recognise him, she'd be like "why is this hunter staring me down" and run off.

100% agree. She knew him. She acknowledged him, but she became the deer she was supposed to be, wild and with her pack. Such a sweet story.
Sounds nice. They guy who spent time with her and lives in the wilderness surrounded by deer probably reads her body language better than you can from 3 seconds of video tho.

Touched my heart. I lived in a remote area like this for a few years and always had deer moving through the property. God bless Darius for his kindness toward this fawn.
I would love to meet a man who loves animals this much: as much as I do! This warm caring man made me cry because that little one needed him and he was not too busy for her! She got to return to her family because of his yes to thus precious baby!!! Thank you!
I raised an orphaned black tail three years ago until release at 11 months old. He is doing very well now and it was one of the most satisfying events in my life. Deer are very affectionate and are also keenly aware of their surroundings. I miss my long walks in the forest with him.

@@jasonmcgrath205 Yes, we released at the coast about 60-70 miles away where we knew he would be safe and in the company of lots of other deer. My cousin saw him a month ago and I plan on going soon to look for him. Someday I will release all of videos of him, probably a terabyte or more. Maybe if I see him it will motivate me to post and share our story?
Seeing her reunited with her Mom and brother must be such a thrill to you. Well done, man. And isn't it miraculous that whenever an animal is in need, a dog steps up to the plate and shows it affection? Man, dogs are not just man's best friend, they're anyone's best friend.

We have a doe who appears every year. She actually approached me & made a “mewing” noise a few times. I stayed away (don’t want her trusting humans too much) but she seemed relaxed in our neighborhood. She brought her fawns & now they are grown & THEY show up. I talk to them in soothing tones to let them know they are welcome. It’s a blessing to see them grow.

very true. otherwise, the baby fawn would've been eaten by a pack of wolves, a pack of cayotes, bears, lions, tigers, leopards or any other carnivores animal. it would NOT have been able to survive on its own in the wild without its mother.

There's a certain sadness, a certain bitter sweet reality to a young fawn or baby animal that has been saved by a human, growing up, returning to her family and nature and never quite recognizing him again. It feels like a pyrrhic victory and yet we know it is right. And in the end it's still a better and more profound love story than Twilight.

A lot of children watch TH-cam for cartoons and Minecraft videos and if a video is recommended to them by TH-cam that doesn't interest them they might dislike the video to tell TH-cam not to recommend any more. There are any number of reasons why someone can dislike a video, it doesn't necessarily mean they hate it, it just means they are not interested in it. That is how I see it anyway.

They like look, but are way faster of running. This deer stopped like when I drive a bike with light in the night and I shine on a deer.
Maybe these deer's are different, than where I am living. But I feel like the human impact at least makes her feel well at least seeing human.

@@catherinedrew203 Yes, I know, but it would have been really, really hard. If you think about it, the baby would have a great life. It wouldn't ever be shot by a hunter, and it would never starve. I wonder if it could transition into a pet?? That is how I would have been thinking... 😊
@@dewick134 that is exactly how I would see it too, a pet. But thinking about the quality of life I couldnt care for it anymore. Then what would i do? It's not like a dog or cat that a family member would take in readily. The animal would still be dependent on its human feeding it and would not be safe alone. But i get what you're saying
