If you want to send me any products for testing or review please send info to lee.dixon@live.ca Thank you
Just a quick note.. there's a protective film on the fender you can peel off if you want the nice black color. Or I guess you could wait until it gets scratched up then remove it.. then it's like new... but I took mine off before putting the zip ties in.
Thanks for the heads up! As I beat it up more I can take it off and it'll look new again! Thanks for watching.
I watched this video and installed my fender, after all of that I read your comment, damn and now re installed again.
It looks nicer now so yeah arigato gosaimas🙏🙏🙏
I would have never realized that film without your comment lol! Thanks
I didn’t realise about the film either I’ve put it on now guess I leave it as a protective film for now
I just learned that lol Mine was scratched up & I was upset! Then looked closer & noticed the clear shrink wrap 😂 now looks brand new 😊
Still helpin' people. Just used your guide to install on my new Marin Rift Zone 2 27.5.
@@alexwebb6789 awesome, that's why I post!
Thanks man. Was wondering how to install. Thought I would check it out before I bought
@@Noony79 your welcome, hope it turned out right!
I love the afterthought nature of these. So typically... contemporary. Nice tutorial though, I'll probably get one myself since there's little else available.
It does an ok job of stopping some of that dirt from hitting me in the face lol. Thanks for watching.
Love the orange accent on your Marin, the water bottle cage, grips, pedals and the new fender looks great to complemate the color scheme
Thanks so much, I was trying to make it cool lol. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for this video! Ordered the orange as well and will be going through this same operation in September . 😎🤙
No problem, thanks for watching.
Really good tutorial helped put a lot
Thanks!
Looks good! Straight forward video. Just what I needed to see
Thanks, glad I could help!
Thanks! Helped me install mine.
Glad I could help, thanks for watching
Thanks for the help man appreciate it keep up the good work
Thanks for watching
Good video. I’m thinking about getting some of those transparent frame guard stickers under the zip ties so it does not scratch the fork.
Nice Video, How close do you think that color from that fender to your Pedals. It's to hard to tell from the video. Let me know so I can get this fender color to match my Black/Theme color too. The time frame 2:30 does not match the color of the pedals but on time frame 7:30 it look close enough or is it just the lighting. Greatly appreciated if you can tell me. Thanks
It was pretty close. It turned out ok
Hello i would thank you for this nice Vidio
IT realy helped me (and Not wondering my English is not the best)
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for explaining in French, and thank you for watching it!
does not fit the Zeb fork as I just realized
It beats me that there is a demand for a video on how to put the fender. Don’t get me wrong. I just wonder that there are people out there that need instructions for that. No wonder they put don’t eat the package in some foods. Peace
Thank you for watching. Sometimes I think people just need a quick heads up on how things are hooked up. 👍
No instructions needed. Just a look up on how it looks like installed before buyin one. Looks awful imo. RS should make it better
This video makes me so happy because my rift zone just arrived and here I am watching you install this on my new bike 😎 apart from the tyres have you upgraded anything else?
Thanks for watching. Just tires, handlebar and stem. I have more stuff but have not installed them yet.
Good video mate, just wondering if you've had any scratching occur on the forks where you've had to cable tie directly onto each side of the fork after these months since this recording? Seems an odd spot to be putting cable ties so tightly especially when introducing dirt and other abrasives to that area.
I could be wrong, kinda hope so as well cos im interested in these mud guards!
Keep up the good work :)
None whatsoever, works pretty good and is super flexible yet keeps it's shape.
Thanks,nice bike also!
Thanks for watching
@@ESBMTB I accidentally went over the cable with the zip tie,not extremely tight but is that ok?
@@davecurtis6930 I would snip that one and put another zip tie on the right way
Do I have to have a rockshock fork to put it on? I have Marzocchi 72 whould it fit?
I am not sure but it's just a plastic piece so you could manipulate it to fit. There are tons of different ones out that go on the same way as well. Fox racing has one but you could always check out marzocchi's web site. Thanks for watching.
Should work in most forward facing crowns, will not work with manitou forks though 💯💯 as they have reverse crowns
Are these short style fender/mudguard any good?
Yeah it stops the water and mud from flying up onto the rider. Thanks for watching
Thank you bro!
Glad I could help!
How effective is this?
It worked very well, no complaints. Thanks for watching
Can you put it on the back wheel also?
Unfortunately not. They're are other brands out there that do make rear finders for most MTB's. Thanks for watching.
Any recommendations for rear fender?
I've not seen one I like yet lol. Thanks for watching
Thank you so much
No worries and thanks for watching!
How has that RockShox 35 been?
It has been really good actually. I weigh a lot lol at 250 LBS and this shock is really good. Thanks for watching.
Where is the backwheel?
I never did a back wheel fender. Around here it's the front that gets you dirty. Thanks for watching.
bro do these fit on the rear wheel
Unfortunately no, you would have to buy rear specific fenders.
Yes they do. I've fitted them to both mine and my daughters. If you turn the bike upside down and take the wheels off, it's self explanatory.
Is that a Rift Zone?
Yes, it's the Rift Zone 2
Will it fit my giant talon 3 2020
It should, it's just a very thin plastic fender and be moved and bent to suit. Thanks for watching.
@@ESBMTB OK thanks
You forget remove film for fender
These things look too flimsy there’s got to be something better
Believe it or not it works pretty good. Thanks for watching
OMG! These mud guard installation videos only show installation of the front guard ...the back doesn't matter?!
Sorry I just wanted the front.
Don’t think they do back ones can’t find them anywhere
@@ady1435 This fender fits on the back
They do fit to the back, I've done it. Turn the bike upside down, take the wheels out and they're easier to install.
Kann das die Gabel zerkratzen
No it does not scratch the fork at all. Thanks for watching
Don't buy if you have fat tyres, it does not fit.
Save yourself some money and make it out of a large plastic soda bottle or plastic folder and you can customize your way.

what a joke of mud gards
