I believe mine is from an early batch...and so far I haven't had any issues...but I'm also not dropping my gun repeatedly from six feet high or banging it against a table nonstop or running it over with a car. Some of those "destructive" tests...while entertaining...do not seem realistic at all...they seem more comical than anything else. Some of them had no interest in actually testing the optic...but just breaking it for the virtual high fives. Mine is mounted on an XD with the OSP plate. I did use the included screws. I did a test fit where I mounted the optic onto the optic plate and the screws fit just fine. I wonder how many people that did lose zero...after repeated drops onto concrete...lost zero because the optic shifted. One of the people that thought they lost zero...lost zero because his rear sight shifted...not because the optic lost zero. I also have a 507c on a G19.3. The larger window on the Osight feels like a luxury. Makes the 507's window feel tiny.
@@abtcup I agree, a lot of those test were over the top. Most didn’t even test all the features. I think Olight can fix the issues this does have and it will be a decent option 👍 I like tinkering with and fixing things, so I try to find the actual problems with a product, unlike most youtubers
@@poortac5568 Kudos to you for at least testing it in a real world fashion👍. I can assure you that these people that are smashing their Osights with rocks, will not do that to the optics on their guns. These are probably the same people that were talking smack about Holosun when they first came out. Now Holosun is on just about every other gun out there. This is also Olight's first attempt at an optic. Trijicon has also had some duds themselves.
@@raysheng5724 pistol or rifle mounted? for rifle Eotech, hands down. I really liked that GoWutar 60moa circle dot reticle for a pistol mounted option. If it’s for serious use though, I would get something more durable (like an enclosed emitter option.
@@raysheng5724 The EPS would be a good choice, but the window is smaller and it would require an adapter plate for RMR mounts. It’s the only enclosed emitter pistol red dot I have experience with though. If you aren’t worried about durability or an enclosed emitter, a Holosun 507 or the Gowutar I review would be my choice.
@@G.W-01 They are fine if you don’t need plates/armor. Personally, I think body armor would be more needed than a ruck, for anything 2A related. Especially when you can get sub 2 or 3 pounds rifle plates. Most guerrilla warefare Ive seen (in history) requires more mobility and less stuff, so I prefer a plate carrier and small backpack (if you need extra gear). There are always exceptions for what environment you live in though. I like battle belts and chest rigs if you need a 2-3 day pack though. Wearing a large backpack with a plate carrier sucks.

@@abtcup yeah, everyone has growing pains. Reviewers should be helping improve a product, to serve their viewers and the industry better 👍
Which of the red dots (out of all the ones you've used) would you recommend for passive aiming w/ NVG's?

To clarify it's for piggyback mounting on top of a scope. So maybe a pistol dot but on a rifle I guess?@@poortac5568

So lbe setups specifically h-harness/battle belt combos are currently in vogue, any thoughts on this.
