Been learning this recently, I'm just an average bedroom guitar player. It's not a difficult song technically speaking, but to try and memorise the different patterns and more to the point, where to play them, is so difficult 😆 I guess that's what makes Tool what they are though....great cover, really appreciate the work!
I've been watching all your videos about "fear inoculum" and they are hypnotic and so accurate. I'm surprised how quickly you have uploaded more than half of the album, thank you for the effort and I hope one day you cover "soen covenant"

Dunno if its the format etc but these are ideal vids to learn all these new killer riffs from. Do you (Or anyone else out there reading this) know of any channels with a similar video format with tabs that covers the bass parts for the new album? As I'm loving learning these riffs on guitar, but Bass is where my true passion lies. Especially when I can Chug along with Mr Chancellor! Keep up the good work buddy. Glad I stumbled upono your vids out of so many youtube tab play alongs. Cheers buddy. Keep on Chugging!

I honestly prefer my Epi Les Paul custom pro over a Gibson Les... just something about it I love so much.
Been learning this recently, I'm just an average bedroom guitar player. It's not a difficult song technically speaking, but to try and memorise the different patterns and more to the point, where to play them, is so difficult 😆 I guess that's what makes Tool what they are though....great cover, really appreciate the work!
Thank you! Have fun learning 🤘
at the 8:00 min mark I kept hearing 3-2-0 or even 3-2-1 instead of that 3-0 pulloff but the downward slide to the deadnote makes so much sense now.
This is God-level effort. THANK YOU DUDE! :)
You're welcome, thanks man! :)
I've been watching all your videos about "fear inoculum" and they are hypnotic and so accurate.
I'm surprised how quickly you have uploaded more than half of the album, thank you for the effort and I hope one day you cover "soen covenant"
Thank you! Most definitely will :)
fuck yeah dude you got that Adam Jones groove, most people cant pull off his rhythms. I grew up and only learned Tool songs shit helped me tremendously with playing any groove . he plays very organic there sound is very alive with timings and shit.... Kudos man! best so far from any cover videos, they just play the notes and nah you cant do that with Tool. you gotta feel that shit.
Haha thanks man, you're right! :)
I love how well you cover these songs. I love your guitar and its tone. I love how you provide play-along tabs. I love Tool. I love.... you, Max. Yup. Facts are facts America.
But the duration of that pull-through bit has my index finger turning an interesting shade of purple. I thought Jambi was a pull-through nightmare but...damn you Adam Jones!
Thank you so much
I think I will stay longer with you, another great job! I have started playing guitar recently and watching you playing gives me a lot as a rythm lesson. BTW, your moves are so calm and clean, I love it!
Thank you so much, glad to have you onboard :) Awesome that my lessons help you, have fun learning guitar!
@@MaxNiessl I will show you my progress if I will make any in few months. :D Perhaps with your Tool covers.
@@adorablekitty7357 Please do, you can do it! :)
Great job on the transcription and performance. I did my own transcription of this particular song, but will be consulting your other videos to save time on other songs! Also, really cool how you have the tab on screen at the same time.
Thank you! Glad my content is helpful to you :)
This was absolutely incredible. Thank you for making this!!!
Perfect tone! Clockwork playing!💪👍
Thank you! :)
I just realized you are the guy that covered CHANGE by Karnivool, damn you are freaking good!!
Thanks dude, be ready for more Karnivool in the future \m/
Yeah only 5.2k views too like what?? hahah
Well now I know what I'm doing today! Thanks dude🤘🏻
Have fun! You're welcome :)
Best cover I’ve now seen of this amazing song!! Wicked cover man 🤘🤘
Great work. Your videos are the best to play along with. I've been playing only tools songs for over 10 years and these videos would of changed my whole learning process and made it much easier ... These are really great for learning their timings. Maybe you could just do the whole back catalogue that would be great! amazing !
Thank you, Sam! Glad you dig them. I think I'll do a selective few from the back catalogue since there is obviously demand for it :)
Nope all of them 😊😂😂 really enjoying learning 7empest. I'm about 3 minutes through the 4 and half minute solo 😅
Been following you after the album release max and I visit these videos everyday to learn the riffs from you. God bless
Awesome, bud! 🤘
2024 and this is still one of the best covers out there!!!
Amazing work again Max! Thank you so much for these!
Thank you! You're welcome :)
ffs how hard this is to remember.. so easy to make mistake! It's really a ride over neck!
Good job Max!
As a beginner guitarrist I love you
Great cover, this is arguably Tool's hardest guitar track imo
Thank you! You actually need a lot of stamina for this one, yes :D
I’d say it’s the easiest tool song. It’s the only tool song I can confidently play all the way through, perhaps cause I’m obsessed with it.
Yes to the stamina. That part is a pain in the ass
These are some of the best videos I’ve seen! So well put together and easy to follow. Not to mention the fantastic playing. Very well done.
Absolutely amazing. Thanks for everything you do.
Thank you, you're welcome :)
Damn you! I'm still using my passion for too to finally learn figuring out songs for myself. This one has really some parts breaking my head, though 🤣 - now you come along and make it harder not to cheat!
Don't cheat with the pull-offs, brother! :D
@@MaxNiessl I mean cheating in terms of looking at your tabs 🤣
Really nicely done man.I've found many a video of TOOOL songs with tabs etc, but for some reason I genuinely seem to get the best results of trying to learn myself with your particular vids.
Thanks a bunch, dude! Really glad you enjoy my stuff :) I recommend you to watch covers by Leo (LeoBassCovers). He is doing an amazing job in a similar format, just with bass, and has done every song of the new album except Invincible. Cheers and rock on, buddy \m/
Watching this over and over again!
You're awesome! \m/
@@MaxNiessl thank you so much!
It's a honor haha, God bless you
I want to learn this song so bad!!
