The reason I love channels like yours is it give me the opportunity to hear songs that I might have known for decades in a new way. Did I ever clock there's a single seemingly misplaced "10" in the riff that you found? Nope, not once in over 20 years. Going back to the original it feels a touch wonky there - I feel like what happened is the vocals were finished and signed off on, but the lead and harmonies ended up with a different note choice for that one word (Math) than the rest of it, so they did a late-stage edit to both the guitar and bass to fly in a more appropriate choice to support it. Your attention to detail is remarkable
i gotta say, everytime a new tool song comes out, you make me spark a smile, as basicly i bought my eletric guitar so i could learn how to play Tool, what you do here on youtube has so much value, i just want to give you my apreciation, you are amazing

Yes!!!! So I play a lot of Tool but was struggling with the part right at 4:47. I swear that one bar of 6/8 is the hardest thing Adam’s done. You can fudge it but I DONT WANT TO. I want to play it right! Gonna be watching that on 25% for a minute here. I understand rhythm notation but shit I thought it was straight 16th or 8ths, the little pauses mess with me.
