The League: Props up ORCA to bully GA and Rosenthal into submission and later act as bodyguards for the corporate leaders while cleaning up their past screw-ups. Strayed and potentially Old King:WELL THIS LOOKS LIKE A JOB FOR ME. Also a few interesting things I noticed. -Neo Nidus uses a TORUS craft while Old King pilots an Algebra NEXT. Which is odd because TORUS was one of the companies that Omer had beef with and The League (alongside all the other characters) very obviously didn't want Old King downing the cradles. -Voah, Malzel, and Luster-18 all use Arisawa and GA parts. -According to one of the cutscenes each Arms Fort has thousands of people operating them. The reason why I bring this up is that ORCA despite being funded by Omer likely killed tens of thousands of their employees between the Eclipse and the Answerer. -The ORCA path IIRC is unlocked after destroying an Algebra arms fort (Cabracan) and AIDING Line Ark against Omer. Once again really sus since Omer and Algebra backed ORCA. -It almost seems like even though Odstarva was working with Omer he still planned on taking them out. Especially when you consider the fact that his bio states that he's become estranged from the company, he bought on maniacs like Old King, Hari, and Voah, didn't make a stink when Neo Nidus effectively destroyed BFF, and the presence of the ARETHA suggests that he was either somehow able to convince Omer to let him take it out of Anatolia, that TORUS gave him the craft following the raid on the Gear Tunnels, or after that operation Odstarva and possibly Hari simply barged into Anatolia's ruins and looted it.
You do point out some interesting things . And i hope you won't mind if i share my thoughts on them. - For Neo Nidus and Old king, There is nothing to say like ac4 that these corporations where not still funding terrorist group to undermine each other. The league was all a sham anyway so corporations really still did what they wanted behind closed doors. - As for Voah, Malzel and Luster 18 as stated by Wynne D Fachon. ORCA Brigade...those laughable idiots only care about firepower. - The corporations saw these thousands of people were...expendable. Just pawns that they would use to look like they were putting up a fight. - Yes it does, but that maybe because strayed took the job from GA making him look to be aiding one of the leagues uncooperative members to gain the upper hand. Plus the defeat of the arms fort turns heads at Orca as shown by the briefing with the Orca crew talking about it. And well if strayed sided with Link Ark then clearly he was not willing to help the league making him a problem the league and its funded group could deal with by slapping a terrorist label on the Lynx. -Ah the question is do you think Maxamillion brought them in to orca or do you think omer gave him a list of suggested candidates? After all in the end all orca members died putting down a lot of troublesome lynxs who they could not control and as for BFF they where rebuilt by GA and pretty much sided with them. So for Omer, Neo simple weakened a part of one of the more rebellious league members. As for the proto-type next I'm leaning to the side that suggests Omer gave it to the group, they knew it was outdated and well they knew their loyal nexts or armsforts could take down such a relic if Orca tried anything funny. @@armoredcorelore I wonder how Ostdarva would fair against Anatolia's Mercenary in a fair fight. Furthermore I wonder what Anatolia's Mercenary would have done regarding the conflict if White Glint hadn't been lost. I always found the Orca path to be the the most interesting (that and the fight with the arms fort the answer just made you feel like a badass). It really makes you question what the overall motive of his was, in initiating the closed plan but simultaneously trying to kill you, despite making you the main instigator. As we all know, the cradles would not be safe forever anyways as Kojima pollution would eventually reach their altitude. I also think canonically it's is Gen 4s overall ending, as we see cradle ruins in Gen 5 and it also helps explain how humanity would eventually go into space and Mars as seen in armoured core 2
Agreed.
