I watched One Day and loved the movie very much. So I wanted to read the book. I HATED the book. The characters were really annoying and their love story was more toxic. In the movie its all so beautiful..
I'm a film student in London and we actually studied Paddington 2 and haven't even touched on Citizen Kane. It's the way it should be. Also I made an entire comparison with storyboards between almost identical shots from Paddington 2 and The Grand Budapest Hotel, it's truly Wes Anderson but for kiddos.

Fruits Basket just ended if you want a series to talk about. It's really got good writing and well deserve characters. If you just want movies to watch I recommend The Giver and Summer Wars.
omg yes i'm planning to watch it soon!! i was watching it as it was airing but stopped after a while as i prefer to just binge it when it all comes out lol so now i can do that! YAY!
I think You’ll absolutely love rocks 2019, it’s about a girl who looks after her brother after their mum leaves them. It’s a British indie film and I think it’s right up your alleyway!
Sisterhood of the traveling pants is one of the most nostalgic movies for me 💕 which of the girls could you relate the most? For me it was Lena, the shy girl who likes to draw 😊
Bring It On was a favorite when i was a teenager, I love Eliza Dushku! I recently watched Minari again and i actually think it might be better than Parasite.
I'll throw in as many recommendations as I can. -- "West Side Story" (1961) ... my feelings on how Robert Wise handled its translation from stage to screen are mixed, and I've been waiting close to five years for Steven Spielberg to get his version released so there's at least an alternate option. But I'm always intrigued when anyone has specific thoughts on the original film. -- "The Learning Tree" (1969). The first Hollywood feature film directed by an African-American. I had a hard time obtaining a copy, but who knows, it might be on HBO Max now and it's well worth your time. -- "Days of Heaven" (1978). Terrence Malick's second film is a rural piece of poetry. Soft. Deep. Encompassing. And Ennio Morricone's music will never leave your head. -- "Being There" (1979). After all these years, this one continues to stump me. It's an enigma. The story goes to places where I truly don't know whether to laugh or cry, and it's fascinating. -- "The Neverending Story" (1984), because it's cute and it trips balls. -- "UHF" (1989). A wonderful option if you just want some joyously, shamelessly dumb fun. -- "Edward Scissorhands" (1990). This will forever be Tim Burton's greatest work. Sweet and heartbreaking. Visually rich. The soundtrack is immaculate. -- "Barton Fink" (1991). A vicious attack on Hollywood pretension from the Coen Brothers, and in my opinion the career-best performances of John Turturro and John Goodman.
Cruel intentions is Angsty, but truthfully, the aesthetic of the film is beautiful! My one suggestion for you this month is to watch Great Expectations (1998). The aesthetics are very similar and they both share a close feel of suspense. It’s a worthy watch if you have the time for it.
Some random movie recommendations (I don't know which ones you've seen, but these are ones you might like and some are ones I truly enjoy): - Tuck Everlasting - Sarah: Plain and Tall (the movie series) - Runaway Romance - Love Finds You in Charm - Starstruck (2010) - Letters to Juliet (2010) - Christmas Oranges (2012) - Christmas For A Dollar - Gidget (1959) - The Bishop's Wife (1947) - The Spiderwick Chronicles - Journey to the Center of the Earth and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island - The Paper Brigade (1996) - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - The Seventh Brother - An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving (based off of the story by Louisa May Alcott) - Willy The Sparrow - Go Figure (2005) - La Belle et La Bete (2014) (originally in French) - Beauty (19980 (another Beauty and the Beast movie adaptation - Beastly (2011) - Ice Princess (2005) Also, these are more of miniseries, but I highly recommend: Neverland (2011), Snow Queen (2002), and La Bella Y La Bestia (2013) (it's originally in Italian, but if you have Amazon Prime Video - you should be able to change the audio to English: that's what I did), and the 10th Kingdom (I believe it's on Amazon Prime Video and it sort of has that Once Upon a Time feel mixed with an Ella Enchanted sort of feel to it)!!!
Can u please make a video for series this timeee. I noticed that most of ur vids are about movies. I wonder what series u love that u can recommend to uss. Anyway, I really watching ur vids. Its really comforting for me-ur voice, d featured films, ur set up, d atmosphere etc. Idk. But I really love d vibe of ur channel.
I just watched "Conversation(s) With Other Women" with Helena Boham Carter and Aaron Eckhart for the first time. IT IS SO EXCELLENT. I was expecting it to be some dumb rom com but oh how I was wrong. It's written excellently and the actors' performances are SO just lush and magnetic. I love, I love, I LOVE.
There are so many films you watched on that list that I love and are some of my favourites like the princess diaries, the holiday and Bridget Jones’ diary. A film I recommend you watch is AI: Artificial Intelligence
I watched this vid the other day but i had to come back to recommend this film I just watched tonight!! 'Save yourself!' One of the best films I've seen this year for sure! It has everything
you inspired me to watch Enchanted again and then i was on an Amy Adams hype so i just had to rewatch 'Leap Year' which is a very sweet romcom with my girl Amy. Big recommendation!
Bring it on is just the best. I don't even mention the sequels. Let's forget them. You have to watch too Ice Princess! Modern Gurlz made me re-watch it too haha loved these recommendations. Thank you!
Omg I have the same mood.😂 Thanks for another recommendation. I feel nostalgic and I need to watch some old good teenmovies/romcoms. But if you're still in this mood watch Bend it like a Beckham. This movie🤍 was everything to me when I was little.😅 Also i don't know but have you seen The Piano? It's such a great movie with such a great storyline.
Yesterday my boyfriend and I just had a movie/tv date where we just saw films back to back. Mostly scary movies though and I know it’s not up your ally. We saw Strangers Prey At Night because I really want wanted to rewatch it. I honestly think its the best one. Then we saw Veronica. A Spanish possession movie based on true events. It was actually really good. I absolutely love romcoms to. It’s actually one of my top genres. My favorites are Boys And Girls, Shes All That and 13 Going On 30. Dont even get me started on the Christmas romcoms. I can watch those like crazy. ☺️
I watched Little Nemo, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Castle of Cagliostro, Castle in the Sky, and Mortal Kombat 2021. Alight if you want to watch some movies. Here is a list of movies you can watch on TH-cam for free as of this moment: The Truman Show, Galaxy Quest, Clue The Movie, The Last of the Mohicans, Shaolin Soccer, Big Trouble In Little China, Smoke Signals, Ghost In the Shell (the anime movie), and Tucker: The Man and His Dreams,
I feel the same about The Bling Ring. I generally love Sofia Coppola's movies but I feel like that one just has really poor acting (except for Emma Watson who's really good) and it's like it can't choose a tone. Love How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. I thought it was really funny and creative. I specially liked the two lead performances.
@@cinemoni haha i get that. i think she was going for a very exagerated cartoony performance to show how these kids were extremely superficial which worked for me but i can totally see it falling flat for other people.

If you like shows about cooking, I swear Food Wars would not disappoint lol. The food is immaculate and makes me want to be a chef. You just have to get past the...thing that happens when they taste test 🥴
