I have been watching some of the movies of Studio Ghibli: Porco Rosso, Ponyo, Totoro. 💕Really loving them💕 Love this video, some really good recommendations.

During quarantine i’ve been watching The Office for the first time and it is so different from any other comedy i’ve ever watched hahaha, and I like it but sometimes not, it’s weird that mixed feelings (but it’s funny most of the times!)

ahh! a chibi ccs clear card sakura figure 😍 i've been watching studio ghibli (older films) & disney animated films too. and i'll give your choices a shot when i have time as for old school cartoons/anime go, i've completed most of CLAMP anime, old school PBS & Cartoon Network shows. I even watched Gravity Falls, one of the few cartoon rarities in the 2010s. It's so witty and paranormal girl, and yes you just have to love the cast ❤️. For my top pick, you should try Code Lyoko, my #1 show growing up. You will not regret this choice if you haven't heard of it before!
I have seen all studio Ghibli movies .the tale of princess kagua is one of the most beautiful thing I have seen.now I want more because I watched all of them.
i've been pretty much binge watching all the studio ghibli films bc they put them all on netflix (i live in brazil) and also she-ra and the princesses of power. but the absolute best movie i've watched so far was swallow; super strange, gripping and beautiful cinematography HMM AMAZING 🖤🖤🖤 i'd highly recommend it to you, i think ure gonna love it!!!
i'm in love with "one day at a time", it's one of my favorite comedy shows and i was so upset when i heard it was going to be canceled... that show deserves more appreciation and love also "avatar" is like MY favorite animated series so... yei!!

I rewatch literally all the Ghibli movies. But the movies that really stuck with me was Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and The Cat Returns. I can't really explain if it's just nostalgia or it's themed but regardless, they're able to pull my heartstrings in a good way.
The way I see it is Avatar is amazing because of the characters they develop and how it progresively grows as a show and world building, it hit me hard as a kid and I grew up with it and I still love it to this day. The Legend of Korra is really different. Its a little more adult and a bit less goofy, its also really risk taking. Some risks hit really well and are amazing and some didnt work out. The Legend of korra is a little more about certain big political ideas and I think is more enjoyable if you're older. Anyways, the show is amazing i recommend it Monika. Saludos desde Peruu :)

Legend of korra has its flaws but i'd still recommend it. It has a lot more action than avatar, and it has topics such as communism, anarchy..it's not the kind of show you'll fall in love with like with avatar but it is interesting. And korra is such a relatable character. Tbh season 3 is the best!

- Hollywood. YES! That's the best new show I have watched this year hands down. The writing of the characters is so beautiful and it just made me so happy. So so happy. - Avatar: The Last Airbender is the best animated show. Ever. One of my favorite things to watch! It kinda reminds me of Game of Thrones in a lot of ways because of the themes and the character relationships, and I love it so much! Zuko and Katara are my favorites. Oh, and Iroh, he's so cool. And yes, I haven't watched The Legend of Korra in its entirety either, so I wouldn't know either. - I really should watch The Office now hahaha has been recommended so many times! - Studio Ghibli movies are everything. Cannot. Stop. Watching. Them! So good. - Yeees, Satoshi Kon was a phenomenal director. Perfect Blue blew my mind. And Millenium Actress and Paprika are so creative. And, I mean, before Black Swan and Inception, there is Perfect Blue and Paprika! - I looove The Florida Project! One of my favorites from 2017. LOVED the cinematography and color palette as well! Awesome video Monika!

you need to watch the legend of korra! idk some people absolutely hate it, and some absolutely adore it, but it’s amazing to watch either way! the music is unbelievably good and always makes me cry, and the characters are AMAZING! korra is my favourite, and i love her whole arc as she goes from being naive, selfish and headstrong to such an amazing person who puts others before herself and is more humble and kind. i actually prefer tlok over atla but that’s just my preference. you may not like it after watching ( esp book 2 ), but it’s worth the watch because book 3 is phenomenal! definitely recommend!

I am on my second time watching Anne with an E (and that's just in the last few months). It's based off Anne of Green Gables but branches into new plot lines within the first few episodes. It's beautifully shot and the characters are wonderful. highly recommend!!
Midnight Gospel on Netflix is a great animated show for adults.I had never watched anything like that but I heard the guy who created Adventure Time made it. It didnt seem like it had a plot line because its crazy psychedelic but it all came together in the end with a beautiful message! I think all the episodes use audio from a podcast too. Love being able to watch all your videos over quarantine and thank you for all the recs!

i picked up atla too!!! it's been my go to series for comfort, and i mean to continue by picking up (again..) the legend of korra afterward, i have watched 2 seasons of the legend of korra before and i know that it is a bit different from atla (korra's personality is just as energetic, but she's even more impulsive and witty), but honestly, i still remember enjoying it a lot, it has a more mature, deeper feeling to its themes. i'd say go for it and watch it, give it a try!

Avatar is PERFECT. I've never watched it before, and now is my favorite animated show. Honestly, don't watch The Legend of Korra, it has so many mistakes in the plot, characters and how they portrayed the original characters of Avatar. I know that there's a lot of people that liked it, but also many of them admit this mistakes. If you are curious to see the children of the original characters, go for it. I honestly liked the visual aspect, but I prefer to ignore how they "continued" the history.

I really liked legend of Korra. I liked avatar more but I enjoyed how it explained more about the avatars and the history of it all. I felt like I got to get even more avatar by watching legend of korra, even though I know it’s not the same.

please watch “The Untamed”!! it’s a chinese drama and i’m sure you’ve already heard about it thousand times bc it’s literally the best drama ever. it’s a lil confusing first 3-5 episodes but after that you won’t be able to stop binging. it’s a REALLY REALLY beautiful story with beautiful camerawork and the atmosphere is truly amazing. it’s a good drama for everyone. even for the people who don’t watch dramas.

please watch “The Untamed”!! it’s a chinese drama and i’m sure you’ve already heard about it thousand times bc it’s literally the best drama ever. it’s a lil confusing first 3-5 episodes but after that you won’t be able to stop binging. it’s a REALLY REALLY beautiful story with beautiful camerawork and the atmosphere is truly amazing. it’s a good drama for everyone. even for the people who don’t watch dramas.
