Exactly, why should sub-arctic euros who are 7% of the world's population dominate the world 🌎 and dictate to the rest of humanity 🙄

COMAC should increase its production of C-919 to one aircraft per day to be taken seriously by airlines and its competeters.

Boeing and Airbus will hold the European and north American market until comac is certified but throughout the BRICS affiliates they will take over as their production capabilities increase, but more market share will be loss to Russias MC models and Brazils Embrier and with more economical products with savings of 20 to 30 million per plane the take over has started.

But yet you are willing to fly in an current American made plane and risk all kind of accidents and mishaps due mostly to human errors.

China will develop a commercially competitive jet engine at some point in the future. Look at the progress of their car and motorcycle industry in recent years which has come on leaps and bounds. Boeing and Airbus aircraft are amazing but it is only a matter of time before they catch up with us in Europe and the states. We are the ones to blame for handing it to them on a plate by contracting them to build the vast majority of tech products we use every day. The Chinese have become rich and technologically advanced through our obsession for cheap goods and now they are reaping the rewards of what we have let them become! The west will not be able to stop them getting certification for their aircraft in the future if they prove to be well built, safe and reliable!

40,000 feet in the air in a plane made by a country known for cheap mass produced crap. I think i'll let others be the sacrificial lambs for the time being..

However you praise the Chinese, it still depends on foreign made engines and many other critical components, not to mention the strict certification process.

From what I heard c929 is moving away from western engine, also China doesn't need outside market yet, as domestic market is one of the largest in the world, as Boeing and Airbus will not want to lose.

Your sanctions are just providing the motivation they need to become more self-sufficient and they are well positioned to achieve it.
