I choose my packs based on what packs some mods need to work. I reached a point where I care about mods more than I care about packs. At least mods are functional and often updated to work correctly

You have to not do the event to get arrested. I have been arrested 7 times and it takes long. You have to just show up to the house and break in that way and the police will come if you get caught by the owners. The fights happen because of the EA break in event not the mod. I furnish my house stealing from the neighborhood laughing extremely loud. Also you can return the items if you click on the item in your house.
I do feel like EA is secretly going to add burglars one day, Theyve got all the assets needed to add the NPC so there's no excuse. We have the animation for breaking into a home, we have the repo gun that the Repo Man/Burglar always used to use, we also have police officers. They have everything needed to create the NPC. Im surprised no one has made it into a mod yet or rather I'm surprised that they didn't include the repogun in this mod

Real mod. Just installed it from CurseForge. Had a kleptomaniac Sim steal a couch from under another Sim sitting on it, in front of 2 other Sims without getting caught. Then, a TV right in front of 4 Sims watching something on it. Both times, autonomously.
With the extreme voilence mod you can also break in and if you get caught the police will arrest you and also you will be in a rabit hole after that for 24 hours.
1:30 I encountered a random sim with the clepto trait and basically stuff in my house kept disappearing. That trait is sort of useless for a played sim, though.
I could never play the sims 4 again, its just so boring and lifeless. Breaking into someone home, get caught stealing, fight them, and yet the victim immediately has a friendly conversation with you right after. This is why I didnt bother making someone an enemy, theyll just be friendly right after. Emotions really ruined this series.
It seems far too easy and with little to no impactful consequences :( The main reason I install mods is to try and escape all that from the vanilla game >.< Can our homes be burglarized? Like, can a burglar break into our active household? I want that aspect of the Sims back sooo, so much!!
Yeah I was so excited for for rent and lots are broken the stupid burglary system isn't even one I would love to have burglars come into your house when you're not playing as one too....
iirc correctly, if you have Basemental Implemented I think getting arrested is more frequent....? I think it takes a hot minute to get arrested. Which to be fair, is a bit of realism when you play the b&e game IRL. It does take a few days for the police to find you if they know who you are, if not...good luck. LOL

I don't remember the exact dates. I don't play on console so I don't remember if it will be free on console or not.
