Ordered my first Grayl product today - the GeoPress. Comes with a free Pathfinder Nesting Cup and Lid (I know, nothing is really free in this world). Why did I order it? Mainly due to the crap water being "fed" to us today in the UK. Brixham (currently in the news for having animal sewage pumped into it's tap water). If we have a situation at home, I can at least rely on a 'Holy Grayl' to give us drinkable water.
So you're supposed to cook in the part of the bottle that holds the dirty water? So any remnants of pesticides or hevay metals or anything are just now in your cookpot?

We were wondering about that as well. Looking into that and how that works.
Any update or further insight on this topic? I was thinking as long as you boil it before using then you’re good to go?
