D.M.S. it might seem that way, but everyone has their own struggles (I would like to think). To be 100% honest, I know exactly how you feel. I was so desperate at one point that I didn't care if my (now ex) had (tried to) cheat on me because I just wanted someone to stay. I'm fortunate enough that after some years and relationships, I turned on a much healthier track and found my soulmate, but life is still lacking in many other areas. Add the fact that my soulmate lives literally on the continent farthest away from mine, and thinga just get stickier. Don't get me wrong--having someonr who cares deeply for you definitely helps! It's just that after they've been there physically having them away physically is gut-wrenching. It hurts day in, day out, which can be terrible if you have a bunch of other worries going on. Soul mates have their ups, but it can certainly have their downs, too.

Plato had something interesting to say about soulmates. I copied this from Wikipedia for those interested. In his dialogue The Symposium, Plato has Aristophanes present a story about soulmates. Aristophanes states that humans originally had four arms, four legs, and a single head made of two faces. I think a simplistic explanation through genitals makes sense, considering how we in the present can compound data and philosophy in junction with the expressed philosophies of the past, whereas Plato lived in a younger era of human civilization with less advancement or experience. Genitalia is an easier reference point for the time.
I believe I have. I met her almost 5 years ago, and I was so peaceful and comfortable with her when we met. We've gone through a lot of ups and downs, and today we consider one another eachother's soulmates. We've grown together, helped one another, and so much more these past almost 5 years. I am here to say that you can have more soul mates, because you share the same energy with multiple people and that is what makes a soul mate. What you do have one of, is a twin flame or a mirror soul. With a twin flame you have a connection of another level, like knowing what another is doing right now without actually seeing or hearing them do it. I wasn't even confused or anything, we just clicked perfectly, I never felt so connected with any human being ever, and it happened very fast too. D.M.S. it might seem that way, but everyone has their own struggles (I would like to think).
To be 100% honest, I know exactly how you feel. I was so desperate at one point that I didn't care if my (now ex) had (tried to) cheat on me because I just wanted someone to stay.
I'm fortunate enough that after some years and relationships, I turned on a much healthier track and found my soulmate, but life is still lacking in many other areas. Add the fact that my soulmate lives literally on the continent farthest away from mine, and thinga just get stickier.
Don't get me wrong--having someonr who cares deeply for you definitely helps! It's just that after they've been there physically having them away physically is gut-wrenching. It hurts day in, day out, which can be terrible if you have a bunch of other worries going on. Soul mates have their ups, but it can certainly have their downs, too.

I am here to say that you can have more soul mates, because you share the same energy with multiple people and that is what makes a soul mate. What you do have one of, is a twin flame or a mirror soul. With a twin flame you have a connection of another level, like knowing what another is doing right now without actually seeing or hearing them do it. You also know, when you look them in the eyes, what they are thinking or feeling. It is truly wonderful
Edit: When you have them in your life, even if it is for a little while, you learn a lot. A twin soul also makes you feel whole, because some souls are split in half and put into different bodies.
