I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings' family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. The love of my life has BPD, and last year when our relationship was growing stronger than ever she self-sabotaged her own life. Thankfully she received the help she needed and we took a break so she could focus on her path of recovery and healing. All 10 signs are undoubtedly present in our relationship. Well, 9 out of 10 apply. The sexual attraction portion doesn't often apply to me. I've minor interest in it, however, to hold them, kiss them and snuggle them to death are extremely felt intentions. Been like that for nearly 3 years. She's been my rock ever since we met, never been one to judge me or criticize me, but is always there to help me. She was there during my struggle with alcohol addiction, substance abuse being legal or not, encouraged me as well as drove me to seek help and paid full attention to me when I was indeed administered into a psych ward for a week. She's been there in my good and bad times, and in the most recent events, she was there to hold me and dry my tears away after having my father pass away. She's a truly genuine person, and I know in my heart that I'll always be here for her.

Saying good morning before I leave for work, going shopping, and random hugs through the day. Why did I fall in love with a person I can't have? Why did my love have to leave? So many of these I can check off for me and my boyfriend. The only few that aren’t are simply because we haven’t had the opportunity to make said compromises or interactions. I just came out of a long term relationship of nearly 3 years. We had nearly all of these signs. I really knew they were the one, but they still dumped me last week. The person I'm talking to right now is almost the exact same as me with very similar taste, personality traits, mental states and anything you can think of but we differ very slightly and our main difference is being born in different places and living different but similar lives. My girlfriend and I are taking a step back and giving each other space. She is stressed with school and work at the same time as she can barely talk in our convo since she can sleep easily after coming home. I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it.
In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings' family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. For the reality of romance is no Disney love story.

The love of my life has BPD, and last year when our relationship was growing stronger than ever she self-sabotaged her own life. Thankfully she received the help she needed and we took a break so she could focus on her path of recovery and healing.

Well, 9 out of 10 apply. The sexual attraction portion doesn't often apply to me. I've minor interest in it, however, to hold them, kiss them and snuggle them to death are extremely felt intentions. Been like that for nearly 3 years. She's been my rock ever since we met, never been one to judge me or criticize me, but is always there to help me. She was there during my struggle with alcohol addiction, substance abuse being legal or not, encouraged me as well as drove me to seek help and paid full attention to me when I was indeed administered into a psych ward for a week. She's been there in my good and bad times, and in the most recent events, she was there to hold me and dry my tears away after having my father pass away. She's a truly genuine person, and I know in my heart that I'll always be here for her.

I finally met my 'the one' 5 years ago❤️ we had to use to many things i had many hardship during our relationship but it made our bond stronger and i can now say that i score 10/10 with him, and knowing that i am the only one that changed his mindset towards few things i belive i am his as well, even if there is a huge gap in age between us❤️

The practicality of meeting someone seems to be getting harsher every day. The seemingly endless options in dating apps ruin the motivation to work through the hurdles of a relationship. The messed up part is that meeting someone within one proximity like the workplace, school, and gym makes it awkward while still having to be there after a breakup. Good luck not dying alone.
