Well, I was so sure a guy at work liked me, and so did my coworkers. Even my boss saw the chemistry between us and told us we should exchange numbers and meet outside of work when she got on to us for talking one day. I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other.
I heard that lesbian relationships are healthier because they understand each other. If both partners understand each other, they won’t want to break up with each other. I also heard that women have higher rates of depression when married (in straight relationships). There is a very small percent of women that are happy in heterosexual relationships.
So it's very hard for men and women to bond with each other and have a strong bond with each other. Both men and women think differently, behave differently, react in a different way.
The more similar two people are, the easier it is to relate and understand each other, resulting in a better, more fulfilling connection. I also read somewhere that even with the divorce rates what they are, most heterosexual marriages that don't end in divorce are still unhappy, and can absolutely relate to experiencing significantly more depression while married than while single.

Have you ever heard the term "opposites attract"? Different things compliment each other very well, causing for a healthy relationship and a filling-in-the-gaps of other people. Think about color matching your favorite outfit. You likely don't wear all red, as it can look a little funky. Usually you wear a combination, like green and blue, yellow and green, etc. These colors aren't necessarily polar opposites, but there are enough differences to create beauty in contrast. You get to learn from your partner things you wouldn't have known otherwise, viewed from a perspective you otherwise wouldn't have looked from.
Now, reacting in the same way is different. You don't have to react in the same way to have a partner you love and cherish, but as long as it doesn't get in the way of life, it doesn't majorly impact it. The sun shines on the ocean and the desert alike, and both benefit alike, yet they are two completely separate things. While I may not fawn over a cat the same way my partner does, we both think it is adorable and appreciate it. I may enjoy washing the dishes even if my partner doesn't, but whatever way the wind blows, the dishes are done. Do you see where I'm going with this? You don't need an identical perspective to see the same answer, and mutually reap the rewards.
Also, you cannot say that heterosexual marriages simply don't work just because the divorce rate is high. 9 times out of 10, it is the foolishness of one side, or the lack of commitment from both. In marriages you find working, neither side is perfect, but they find a harmony in imbalance that counteracts the need to always be right, or never argue, which is the result of love. Marriage is no light matter, and unfortunately many do take it as such, lose commitment, and fall out. But those who do truly find love, will love each other unconditionally, will not seek others, will not separate because of a minor disagreement. These are the marriages that are truly successful.

I added her on the socials last year. We interacted on and off for some months. I moved back to the city she lives in. Couple of months later
I asked randomly if she wanted to meet and hang out sometime after she posted something about being more social.
Next minute I randomly asked if she wanted to hang out with some friends and I last weekend. (No hidden agenda;). She did! She was hesitant at first like yeah I get it randomly meeting a bunch of people you don't know yet totally understand. I liked her from the moment she shyly answered her door, everything; her aura and energy, the shy/pleased smile, her black T shirt and light denim shorts and light makeup and red hair - she was just stunning (to me). Like, damn!
I wore a nice white and red floral dress and a red cardigan, had makeup on too. Almost shoulder length blonde hair styled by hair clips.
I shook her hand and hugged her. Sat and chatted next to her in my car, my other friends in the front. Everyone bonded well together and grew closer as the day went by.. She giggled when I said I'm a loveable extroverted goof that flirts a lot - (truth!!). Playfully touching her arm as I joked about both with her and my friends. All hung out at mine later and we all had lunch. Then took her home.
We talked the entire week and feelings grew. Okay I flirted with her and lay it on thicker and thicker. She flirted back OMG! YAY!
I called her to say good night 2 days ago. Last night we talked an hour and a half and even video chatted! Today is my second time seeing her in that friends/crush stage. Its definitely mutual. I've hinted at a date -she's keen! Sooo much crush right now! I may even get to kiss her today.

im a girl and i had this first crush in grade 8, i rarely like someone so it was a real experience to me because everyone shipped me with him too. All of us have the potential to be amazing if we choose to
I have a crush and it started when we had a group competition, he's too friendly and kind of clingy too and he always leans on me whenever we had our water breaks. One time he asked if we can go together to buy the needed supplies for our props and costume for the competition, I really wanted to go with him though but I was too shy and ended up going with my friends. After the competition I was too sad because we won't be able to talk with each other again (even if we're on the same class) because we have a different group of friends but somehow, miraculously, we still talk with each other sometimes hehe. There's also a time when our school had a poster making competition, he knew that I know how to draw. He encouraged me to join but I was too hesitant because that was really not my cup of tea. He really insisted that I should join that's why I told him that I would join if he will buy me ticket (the ticket is for another competition and I was too determined to get the prize that's why I need a lot of tickets). That time I made that condition because I know he would stop asking me to join but he said fine with my condition and said that he will give me 5 tickets lol. Again I was too shy and didn't asked about the ticket because it was just a condition to make him stop at the first place. I ended up joining the competition (unfortunately I didn't win but it was a good experience and I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected). He also made a cute drawing of my favorite anime character and said that it would fit at the back of my id (even if I'm not a fan of wearing school id, i started to wear my id everyday because of that lol). As a payback I draw him something too and I saw him put my drawing at the back of his id too! We also like recommending each other songs and he edited a video with a song that I recommend him that I really really love! But unfortunately, last week I heard that he has a girlfriend. I really thought he doesn't have because there was no clue, even in his social medias. I promised to myself that I should stop liking and talking to him. But I was too stubborn and earlier I let him choose a picture of my new favorite anime character because I will put it as a phone wallpaper then he suddenly asked me to find him a wallpaper too (the same anime character). He doesn't know that anime character but he asked me to find him a wallpaper of that character!! He then asked me what anime series that character belong to and also what's the plot. So I explained and he said that it was good so he will watch it. At this point a hope started to arise again. I know that he has in a relationship but here I am still thinking that all of his actions and words had another meaning. Maybe he's just too friendly and clingy, maybe it's really natural to him, maybe I'm just putting all the unnecessary meaning to his words and actions. I should really stop this ☹️. What do you think guys?

I've been literally watching body-language videos and at this point, it feels like I can become a body-language coach. So, it'd be nice if anyone could bring some insight on this and you're honest opinions.
I like someone since 3 months and his friend started liking me around the same time. Fast forward to now, my crush and I keep making eye contact soo many times...maybe 30+ times at least...idk. I've lost count.
He is a very charismatic, confident and sociable person. We've never talked though.
Recently, he's been acting weird. He glances at me even when there are so many people around (even my friends have pointed out). He makes eye contact with me but these days (we've met after quite a while due to exams) he acts a bit shy..? In the corridor, he looks at me, looks somewhere...like at the floor, looks at me again. He glances quite a lot.
However, it seems he is not interested in dating (found out 3 months ago). Considering this, I feel its a bit weird for a person who claims to not be interested in dating and for a person whose friend likes me to give off these gestures.
I've been having a very strong gut instinct that he likes me back but Im trying to convince myself that maybe he's just confused if I like him. However, it doesn't seem to fit in. Like- if he feels uncomfortable with me, then, why does he keep glancing back?
(P.S.:- Ik stalking is a bad habit, but i needed to...Basically, I saw his spotify, he isn't the type who adds love songs but recently he added some on his playlist. Here's a question. How can you tell if someone with ADHD and/or high functioning autism has a crush on you? A video about this would be very interesting as for example: someone I know has ADHD and possibly high functioning autism has amazing eye contact with me but then I notice the same eye contact when he talks to others. or prioritizes you over other people but then ghosts you later.
Maybe I can help a bit. 🤔 Every person is different so I can't say this goes for everybody with ADHD. When I have a crush on someone, if they're not looking, I would want to see glimpses of them without drawing too much attention to myself or risk making them feel uncomfortable. I think this has more to do with the fact that I'm reserved. I also try to be friendly without being too obvious but sometimes I say things that are kind of hinting them that I like them. It's really hard. 🙃

My crush doesn't romantically like me back, cause she's my best friend. But she is so so loving and caring honestly, sometimes it almost feels like a relationship. She didn't hesitate a single second when I wrote her how sad I am or when I just broke out in tears in front of her, and that care from her side to me was honestly the thing that made me catch feelings for her. We trust each other a hundred percent, we do have secrets between each other and we'll take them to our grave, and I honestly think that's beautiful. But of course, it still hurts, the feeling of romantic disinterest from her side
Woman don’t want vulnerability in a guy.. they say they do but the moment u show weakness they get turned off.. believe me I’ve been in multiple relationships, hookups whatever and it’s the same everytime. I’m in a relationship now and my gf wants me to open up more but I’ve found out that keeping some things to yourself is the best way to go about it. @@ht4373I don’t think that’s true for everyone. It could be different depending on the type of relationship you form. In some relationships, hiding your emotions can be disingenuous. It’s possible that the relationships you form are simply more passion and chemistry driven than emotionally driven, and I think that is completely okay. In life, like in basketball, I believe there are a wide variety of ways to achieve the same result, however the steps in order to get to the result can vary. If you’re trying to drive into the paint against a much bigger defender, but then do a fade away (an anecdote for crying you could say) at the midrange, you’re probably gonna miss and that doesn’t even make sense if you want to drive into the paint. However, if there is only 2 seconds on the shot clock and you only want to score, and you’re at the midrange against a smaller defender who’s really pushing against you, a fade away would be one of your best options.

Lots of friends are helping, but it's always awkward. I did try to as her out through a friend, but she has to go home straight away or she's busy.
