Toriyama was a mangaka more than anything. Anime was not his thing, he said. I'm very grateful that I read his Manga from DB to the end of DBZ as a kid. His hand drawn art is stunning. The covers of the Manga are gorgeous. As a kid I read many mangas but something was different about dB. I swear I remember thinking "wow I read these so quick" back then. I encourage anyone who is a fan that hasn't done so yet. Go read his Manga. Thank you again Toriyama. RIP

DbZ shaped my life as a young man. I had no confidence, was insecure and had low self esteem before I watched this amazing show. Now Im grown with 3 boys of my own who absolutely cherish DBZ and enjoyed DBZ themed birthday parties. All made possible by the founder. May his legacy carry on forever. Rest in heaven King

Almost everyday after school, I’d hurry home and watch Dragon Ball Z. Android 18 is my favorite character. I recently finished Dragon Quest 11 on the Nintendo Switch. It’s one of the best JRPGs I’ve ever played and the entire world is beautiful to play in thanks to Akira Toriyama’s art and style.
