I owned the Guitar Hero for DS with the peripheral part and I 100%'d it in highest difficulty and I don't remember having any pains or cramps at all and actually I found it particularly fun D= Playing Guitar Hero at school was super nice, too, since, like they said, it was that time frame that everyone was playing that crap xD; Maybe I.. played with it differently than everyone else...?? Though I used it the exact way they show...
Blood Sport looks horrifying...who the hell were they kidding when they came up with that? Did they _really_ think anyone was going to pay money to have their own blood sucked out of them while they're playing a video game? What the hell were they smoking??

How did anyone expect Blood Sport to work? What if a donor was too good at the game, or horrible? You either get no blood at all or too much blood and a corpse.

Whilst I appreciate (and completely agree with) your cogent analysis of the Virtual Boy's many, many flaws, I feel obligated to point out that it wasn't a peripheral... it was a standalone game system.

We hooked up an old n64 at my friends house the other day and played Mario party 2 and 3 for a good 20 mins before someone had to stop playing because of there hands hurting...... Lol atleast I got to play some sick Pokemon snap while everyone decided to play Cod

They actually started to release gloves meant for solving that problem back then. Anyways when I had to play that mini game I didn't try it like that. I grabbed the edges of it and spun it. It reminds me grabbing the top of a spoon and mixing some hot chocolate.

Big Boss hates who really isn't Big Boss, but Kaz who is an agent for the Japanese rebellion who have metal gear and will launch it

Well, if the guitar hero pick makes you lose feeling in your fingers and potentially give you RSI then it may actually be a realistic simulation of what practicing guitar does to you. Then again, you could just spend slightly more, buy a real guitar and at least have a higher chance of getting laid when you play it in public.

I love the Virtual Boy. Easily one of my favorite systems. Plus, one of my (top five) favorite Mario games is on the system (Mario Clash). The Virtual Boy also helped since I had poor eyesight most likely since I was born and it helped with coordination quite a bit (tons of Mario's Tennis)

Imagine Blood Sport with a racing game. With all the stress those tires are put under when pushed to the limit, the controller is going to buzz nonstop, and so is the feeling in your body without all that blood.
Blood sport as a method of blood donation actually sounds like something I'd do. And if I don't like the game they picked and wanna get out as soon as possible, I can always run into the bullets just to make sure I give my fair share before I leave.
I'm tempted to watch every single video to see if a joke has aged worse than the Kevin Spacey one :D

1.Blood extraction normaly takes less than 30 secs, so you expect ony to play 30 secs to donate blood? cool idea, why play for hours in your house if you can only play for the 30 seconds the test tube takes to fill in.
2. yeah real genious the creator of Blood sport he managed to invent a less eficient and expensive blood draining method than a needle.
3. The fact that their kickstarter never took off is proof enogh that the idea was flawed in the first place.

There was an installation at our local art gallery a couple of years back which dripped fake blood contained within blood bags down the wall every time someone was killed in a game of Counter-Strike that they had running in there. Something something making us think about the real cost of war something something. Good, creepy visual though.

Okay, I have to say it: The most painful peripheral I've ever seen was the Roller Rocker for the NES. The thing was a hard, ridged piece of plastic that you had to balance on, shifting your weight about to move. However, the A, B, Start, and Select buttons had to be pressed on an ACTUAL controller plugged into the thing. The cords were fairly short, too, so you had to crouch if you're too tall (like me). The ridges on the balance board were done in such a way that if you moved your feet without lifting them, it would hurt. Playing with socks was impractical, as it made you lose traction, and shoes was just ridiculous, so bare feet it was. You'd have blisters easy, and spend so much time trying not to fall, your performance couldn't help but suffer. WHY WASN'T THIS ON THE LIST?

when donating blood it has to be collected in under 10 minutes otherwise they have to throw it out due to a preservative in the bag that keeps the blood fresh but also needs the right amount of blood or it will be too diluted in the preservative

the virtual boy had a spaceship game that was a bit like flying an x-wing through the death star trench. I played it for like 5 min at some store when I was a kid and remember it being kinda fun

I actually had a thing called Minewave from Edmond Scientific that would be a step up on the Atari thing. Problem was it cost to add on applications. But it was clever.
Imagine the pain if you used all of these in one day, especially if you used the virtual boy, jacket and NES controller at the same time while your blood was sucked out.
blood sport and the bullet simulation vest is scary. I would get concussion from the helmet, chest and back pains from the vest, and death from blood sport
