Bravo 👏
Thank you!
What benefit do you get from adding polystyrene to the mix compared to just silicone? Consistency?
It would be interresting to know because DIY silicone "paint" is already a neat way to make weatherproof covers and tarps from simple cloth.
A neat trick you can do if you have a piece of similar pattern is to "stamp" it into the surface before curing. A thin layer of oil or soapy water will prevent sticking.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I also tried making a pattern for it, but it didn't work well because the silicone has adhesion to the patterning material, so I didn't do it, instead I used foam. When drying, it creates a rough surface for the chair, like a natural pattern
Cuero.???
No, es cuero industrial, que consiste en un forro de tela recubierto con una o dos capas de PVC para crear una unión entre la tela y el plástico.
It's not leather - just put a new piece of genuine simulated vinyl on the seat. That's ugly what you did.
I did what I could. Thank you, have a nice day!
Good
My goodness your not helping show ckearly the ingredients dont make it fast
You can see it in the subtitles of the video
Gasoline and a heat gun...just wow...lol
What a terrible mess!
It would have been easier and as quick to completely remove that old, cracking, cheap leatherette material and replace it with a piece of new fabric for next to nothing for a professional job with far better results. 👎
😮😮😮
Bro , buy a new chair
Thank you, but I'll still fix it, because I like repair work! Have a nice day!
