Whenever Brian Lara broke a record the commentators often called him by his full name of Brian Charles Lara. Charles is the name of my own grandfather and I feel happy to hear that name mentioned in a wonderful sportsman like him.

The school kids waving nearby were from my childhood school ie St. Johns Catholic Primary. The building was called the "Annexe" and it was and old Cathedral where Grades 5 and 6 had their classes at that time. The classroom they were waving from was Mrs. Christian's class. I used to be in the adjacent class belonging to Mrs. Davis. I remember watching the 1993 West Indies vs Pakistan test match from that classroom ie when Carl Hooper scored 178* and Inzamam scored his maiden test ton of 126. Those were indeed the best days of my life !!! ❤😊
