This made tears of joy 😭 came out of my eyes, Brian Charles Lara 🇹🇹🏏 is my Hero ... I wish the current West Indies team bring back victories like this for the Caribbean .❤️❤️❤️
1999 Aus vs WI series was in my opinion the greatest test series I have seen, even ahead of 2005 Ashes. We Australians always had a huge regard for Ambrose, Walsh and of course Lara. All three greats of the game who you could never rule out that they could steal victory from you.
@@hero-rj9zu I don't recall the West Indies ever being booed. Maybe there was a few specific instances due to some on-field event, but it was never a common thing. People used to love seeing the Windies tour.
Nah. WI were never booed in Australia, even when we were top dogs. In fact, the only places Brian Lara has ever been booed have been in the West Indies: sabina 1999, the second innings of the Bridgetown test that followed and Bourda in guys in 2003 vs the Aussies again. On every occasion he responded with centuries
You sounds just like some women though. When the money flowing you will stay but as soon as he lost his job you done and gone.😂😂😂 While I'm not happy now they are losing I will continue to support them and I don't only watch cricket when WI are playing like some do. I've seen India skittled out for just 36runs in a test, yes 36 and England too under 50 I think and WI were out for 47 against PK in Sharjah. I'm sure they are others. Chicago bulls is not the same now that MJ and the others are not around but if you see the stands when they are playing ...that's called support and fans and they don't even make playoffs. So Continue to watch those were the days and and enjoy 👊👊
This was vintage Lara. Coming off a disastrous series against SA, he was put on notice when he played a great 213 and then this . An innings for a lifetime.

I don’t think even he realized how prophetic those words would prove to be just about three or four hours later
