Then don't remove all your trees and stuff. This video demonstrates the extent to which you can customise your game. If you like a balance--as do I--between form and function, just "trim the fat" so to speak. I hate the Forest for all the trees since it's always so hard to find stuff, particularly as I must play in the evenings. These world-view tips will definitely make it easier for me to find and farm iron.

You cannot take items from biomes you have not unlocked, you can however take items from areas of unlocked biomes that you cannot reach yet.

In the demo how do you exit back to the wardrobe
Personally, I like putting villagers in their respective biomes because it makes each place feel more alive imo. In the plaza I kept Mickey, Minnie, Remi, and scrooge's store along with remi's restaurant. Beach I have Donald, Maui, Moana, Ariel, Ursula. Swamp I currently only have mother gothel. Plateau I only have wall-e but will have scar of course. Forest I have no one currently. Frosted heights I have all the frozen characters. The only character in the game I haven't unlocked yet is prince eric who will probably put in the meadow with goofy and merlin.
Yeah like three of them their houses have to be in the ocean so it makes no sense to have everyone in the plaza. And you can't move Eliza's cave or Mother Gothel's house Tree.

I don't think I'd like my world looking like this, it looks so empty, sad, and kinda like the game is unfinished. I don't mind walking around the world a little bit, why do some people act like having to walk in this game is horrible lol. The nature in this game is lovely and I don't think I'm gonna be removing it, plus think of the animals in those areas wouldn't that effect their spawns?
I mean, people do the same thing in games like Stardew Valley. It's just how people play the game.
@@krazytreRTM and that's fine, I just said I wouldn't do this my opinion only just don't think it looks good. But anyone playing should absolutely do it how it makes them happy.
Yeah I don’t find it pleasing to the eye either and won’t be clearing up to such an extent but I am moving houses and clearing some areas for farming. Going to remove a few trees just to allow a tiny bit more light into some areas that I struggle to see in too. The well trick is helpful too, I hadn’t thought to do that.
Yeah, same. That world looks so barren and bleak. I wouldn't want my world looking like that. Sure the trees can get annoying when they block my view, but at the same time, I like the creepy forests and that. Each area has character to it. As such, I've kept a lot of my world as it was when I started the game.
All the starting houses are in the same place and I've kept all the trees and paths. Even fixed up paths in places where they were patchy. The only things I've really moved are the fruit trees and bushes. I moved them all to the meadow (which has basically become my farm) so that they're all in the same spot.
I don't see much point in strip mining the whole map bare. At some point, when we get more characters (and therefore more houses/shops) I'll start making space for them, but until then I'm keeping my spooky forests lol
I don’t like it cause it takes away from the beauty of the game and turns it into a grind I want to walk around my world picking fruits and talking to the characters, it makes the game so much more relaxing for me.

No 5 is gonna save my ass! I’ve been waiting forever for mushrooms and some random flowers to spawn but both are waving at me from the other side of the river!! Legend!!

These are interesting tips but one thing i would say about the way you build your farm, its best to remove the gaps between rows that way you can just hold down "farming button". On pc i used a macro which just holds down "E" on my keyboard and i can just watch a move or something while i plant seeds in my massive farm.
Abdallah said in the live streams that he likes the way the gaps look for clean lines and make it easy for him when watering.

Probably also helps the switch crash less
It's not 'best' to remove gaps in farming. Go check out my Pumpkin Harvest to see why.

Also, if you want to quickly clear a lot of things at once, like lines you dug up for crops or various trees and rocks, then place any house over that spot then move the house back to where it was. BAM all the things are gone!

The other tips are all very useful, grouping tree and bushes, grouping npc houses.

Are you saying that 3 Fir trees next to each other in The Forest of Valor will spawn the same amount of wood as say 12 trees scattered throughout the forest?
Does anything respawn? Thorns? Rocks? Flowers? Anything? (Other than the various types of wood mentioned in the video)
Yes the only thing that takes a day to respawn is the throns

Every item that appears on the ground respawns on it's own random timer. You'll get a guaranteed 10 Night Thorns each day that spawn, so don't clear them all as you won't be able to fulfill a Dreamlight Duty of that task if so.
i hate it it there is a yellow orb stuck behind the telescope in melins house i cant pick it up :( any tips
Mine is stuck in the same spot as well 😕
They just patched it, it should be fixed now. I was able to grab mine an hour ago, they moved it from behind the telescope.
I’ve picked up a couple door decorations but can’t seem to replace the doors in my house with them. Are they just supposed to be decorations to nowhere?
It is sadly like this atm. Hopefully they'll change it in a future update
mushrooms stopped spawning for me and i couldnt get the upgraded watering can to reach them. that last trick just fixed the problem! tysm!!!

I haven't read through all the comments but there is a quest where you need to harvest blueberries in Forest of Valor. You only need 3, but after that you can move the blue berry bush anywhere.
Have you figured out away how to get more dream shards? That's the one things that I'm struggling with right now, and trying to complete more quest to unlock more story mode. Love you videos and was existed when you started playing Dreamlight
I believe the only way is harvesting nighthorns each day
There's a chance to get them from clearing night thorns, feeding critters with their favorite food, and digging shining spots in the ground. They also sent a message to the in-game mailbox with a bunch of dream shards which has been sufficient for me but I'm not sure if that's still available
They just updated the game to incorporate more of then when digging for gold spots! Take a look and report back!
@@AbdallahSmash I was able to get some dream shards digging. This helps out a lot.

This makes the game very interesting. I hope this is not unintended behavior that could get "fixed" with a future update.

Most of the tips are intentional. The only one that I think might be unintentional is the moving of a wishing well to an area you haven't unlocked yet.
I wish I could invert the left and right camera control! It feels weird that i move the camera left and the game pans right

That's super cool, but what's the point? The feeling of accomplishment from unblocking new areas is so fun, why spoil it? Still, great tips!

The tip of moving the well actually helped me fix an issue I'm sure the devs didn't intend to happen, where all of my flowers and hardwood stopped spawning in the original side of the forest because they had all respawned on the side I couldn't access yet and it had caused me to become stuck on a couple different quests, so I was able to move my well temporarily to grab all the hardwood and flowers I needed and then simply moved it back so I can still get that feeling of accomplishment later when I unlock that area and can get all the treasure chests and other special items.
Maybe it's optimized, but dam the world is ugly.
Oh well, everyone plays like he wants I guess.

Yeah, I spend quite some time adding trees to my valley to make it look natural and lively haha
you can put any rock/tree/bush anywhere just bc it has the name of the biome on it doesn't mean it has to go there it just "matches" better for that biome.
At least this is the case on the XBox and Switch
