This is better as an unlimited food source method. Sell them until you've recouped your cost. To make money, unlock fields of Valor, open well, unlock goofy shop and upgrade once. Make a garden in the same area close to the well. Mine is 20x10. Buy canola seeds and plant them. Water them, once ready to harvest (about 15 minutes) grab a gardening buddy, and start the harvest. I make between 60-80k each time spending around 5k on seeds. My wife and I can't wait for more areas and characters.

Even simpler tip, just farm carrots, someone on reddit did the complete breakdown of selling stuff and carrots are almost pure profit.
Especially useful for people who haven't unlocked the other areas yet.
I sell pumpkins. Plant and harvest 100-200 at a time and you’ll make so much money. Yes this takes a couple of hours to harvest but you can do other quest in the meantime. Profit is like 200k
I agree. I usually plant pumpkins and mine minerals. Harvest with with a friend to double the amount of pumpkins and then re seed. I will mine one more time and then just wait until the pumpkins are ready again. I just save up after about harvesting minerals and pumpkins 3 or 4 Times and will walk away with a sell of 4 to 6 hundred thousand each time. just gotta be patient and don't worry about trying to become a millionaire in a few hours. You can do that in a 3 days or less just by doing that.
18k was not profit. It was the total made. Your profit, after spending 12k on ingredients, was about 6k, for 15 soufflé’s, plus the use of your coal, is not adding up to a good deal. I think it is better to harvest. Let me know if you disagree. I spent money over 25k upgrading Remy’s, so I really wanted this to work. After figuring it out, You are at about 410, per soufflé. Plus the coal and the debt of the upgrades to Remy’s. Sigh!
Completely agree! Crops is the best method as it’s much much cheaper. Pumpkins are the best that I’ve seen. It just requires patience!
for me the best method is fishing.
harvesting is good, but i have problems with watering, so for me harvesting takes more time that it supposed to
@@snowlen_hill I agree that’s a great method. I tend to fish in between harvesting. Look for those red a blue circles and you got so good stuff! I also have struggles when it comes to planting. I doesn’t auto plant like it should most of the time so it takes me a little longer.
Doing carrots early on has given me so much money. I've upgraded a bunch of things already and it's been a breeze.

I came here to say the same! I've made my fortune in tomatoes. At the time I started farming for profit I didn't have the forest unlocked. I've maxed out my inventory, my house, Chez Remy, Scrooge's store, all the stalls, and Wall-E's garden. Holding down E so often and for so long became a royal pain so I wrote a macro I toggle to simulate holding E instead. Huge quality of life upgrade and more efficient than human hands.

Thanks for the tips, it's effective, I have tried many ways to try earning coins quicker, I have moved the wishing well next to the stall and the crops I created, grabbing all the harvestable fruit trees altogether next to them, putting chests nearby, at the beginning I plant carrots and tomatoes and harvest with a garden buddy, it's profitable but takes lotta time planting and harvest, at the end I plaint onions the profit become huge, now I see your way, it's more profitable and quicker, that's a business man should do 🤓

So have I. And only because I have noticed that when you ha e Moana in the village and you help her make that fishing boat. She can bring back a lot of fish to pile onto the ones you've caught yourself. And then when you go to goofy to sell them. Ive seen they sell for a LOT of coins. 🤑💯 ive only upgraded moana's boat one time so far, but I can only imagine how much she will bring back for me once I upgrade her to the max. The fish sell for a lot.
Yes BUT that is active money making. You can make more with crops which is passive and will allow you to do other things. Not to mention the coal you need to have stockpiled. Canola is still best for passive money making while playing, though Carrots are good early game. Then if I remember correctly pumpkins for when you are logged off since they have a 4 hour timer.
This method isn't bad but I can think of better ways to spend an hour than making a butt ton of souffle's for only marginal profit.
Just make a field of Canola. You plant, water, go do some other stuff, come back twice and repeat, and then harvest. And make true bank. I buy 144 Canola seeds for 3600 and after my harvest (in about 40 min), I make anywhere from 25000-30000 profit.
Your method costs 12k and only banks about 5k after however long you have to buy and make each individual souffle. It's hardly enough profit for the effort.
I'd rather farm any day.

I just farm rice it takes 30mins to grow but the price is a total of 15k for 100 rice and you usually get more than 100 if you’re farming with a buddy
I tried this. It's pretty quick. The profit is ok.
If you buy the coal from kristoffs stall, this becomes incredibly worth it. Otherwise, don’t bother unless you need quick money.

Something to note while doing this you should be growing pumpkins in the background. I always plant 30 pumpkins you get 38k from them so that combined with this you'll be so rich that even Scrooge will be jealous of you
And I just dug a 12X15 cause someone told me to sell okras, just so I can buy that awfully cute skirt 🥲

Edit: I tried selling 100 of these, but it's such a painful slow process, and we don't get the companion boost.Planting and selling okras is my go to, atm. Plus, u then have two hours to explore the world and collect stuff. And u get the boost from ur gardening companion.
Also: Old Scrooge doesn't sell that candy skirt anymore. ='(
There is a profit. But my main concern would be how much coal I'd have to use to get there. 1 coal per meal, with a profit of $4K every 10 souffles, not sure if I'll continue using this method. Great video tho ;)
I've had great luck harvesting gems while hanging out with someone who has the mining skill.

That's what I've been doing. Cost no money. I just carry around fruit to eat when I'm low since I'm max level
@@blehblu And as you open the more expensive lands, the gems are worth more. Very sound advice about bringing food, Tina Michelle. Otherwise you can put a wishing well by your house and use the map to fast travel home for free energy.

Thanks. I usually just harvest the fruits in the area and then eat them and carry on. Found it to be pretty efficient.
@@blehblu Ah, I move all the fruit trees and bushes to the same location for convenient mass harvesting, I do not have your option of grabbing food on the go.
But what about the coal you have to use to cook?
This is like the 4th video I've seen mentioning this method xD everyone ironically thought of the same recipe lol.
How do you get enough coal though? Maybe follow up with a coal farming tutorial.
Coal gets easier and easier as you unlock more parts of the map. Also make sure to have a mining buddy with you because that will only increase your chances at getting even more. 😊

@@ModestNeko You can also buy them for 5 star coins a pop by doing Kristoffs quests and unlocking his stall.
But he doesn't always have them, so if you're planning on doing alot of cooking, you might want to build few chests next to his stall and fill them up with coal.

Selling fish especially red and blue spot fish and seafood will be worth more. You'll earn a great profit from that as well.

Btw eggs is considered dairy thats why they are always close to milk, cheese, yogurt, cream cheese, and other dairy eggs have to be refrigerated.
I mean in grocery stores, sure. But dairy in reality is from cows. 🐮
Also if you throw in some fruits like raspberries or blueberries, get a few more star coins!

Like I make 30,000 profit on farming but it dose take time for the good crops to grow, can make alot with faster crops to thou
I just grab one of my miners and starting mining. I make about 16k everytime. Doesn't take me long either.
I have over 28 million coins and all I did was keep planting hundreds of pumpkins all over and then sell them. You can make 1-2million a day this way and it only takes around 30 mins a day.
Eggs are not dairy, true, but a lot of super markets or grocery stores put eggs in the dairy section. I always assumed it's because it is an animal product that is not obtained by killing the animal.
You can also just use mickeys stove or goofys! So you don’t have to buy one or craft one!
The problem with this method, your going to find you have run out of coal, which you will need for other things too. So I'm back to farming

Hehe, okra gives way more money than that. I get $35,000 every harvest from planting 100 crops at once. I know, they take a long time to grow. Just use the time skip trick on your Switch. Push time forward by two hours, collect, then switch back two hours after you collect to avoid Scrooge changing the items in his shop from it being another day eventually.

Well, I also can recommend the Carrot Method :) Just plant Carrots and you also get many Coins
If you're working on the Pixar Fest Star Path, you'll probably run into tasks that ask you to mine 20 topaz or 20 aquamarine. You'll end up with a Scrooge McDuck swimming pool of coal if you complete those. It's a bit of a grind, but it's two birds with one stone, so it's not so bad.
@@dramasmvs2346 Its all about tomatoes although they take longer and you have to rewater.
If you reach a high enough friendship with Kristoff and do a quest, he opens up a stall selling softwood, rocks, and sand. There's an upgrade at friendship level 10 that adds a second row of items for sale. Coal is one of the materials that can pop up (it's random, from a pot of like 6 options). It's pretty cheap too, I think like 4 coins each?

@@dannie10981 Very welcome. If you have a level 10 hang out friend with the mining perk, you can make a very good amount at any point in the game. Also, if you look in the Menu, under the Collection tab, and go down to where the gems are listed, you can see which gems are in which land and how much they sell for. You might have known all this, if so I hope I did not insult your intelligence.

That's not the best way I've tried it and the amount of coal it takes to cook all those just isn't worth it. My money maker is canola I have a 800 plot farm that I made on the top half of forest of Valor bottom half is for farming trees for wood. It takes about an hour to make 100k+. The only good thing that comes from Remy is the fact that you can fast travel to his realm anytime you want and refill your energy. What I did was made 100+ souffle and then put them on the ground now anytime I need to refill my energy just fast travel there eat one then go back to what I was doing free energy forever.
You are right, Jerry. Farming canola, or even mining, are much more profitable.
u can get like 100k per 15 min with the fishing method
A better deal/method is carrots for fastest time/money. Buy max amount of seeds plant them all and collect them with a maxed out garden friend. Then simply sell the carrots. Every 15-30 mins you can have 200k easy (about 150k profit) I didn't do the math so I might be wrong

Ah but the problem I ran into is running out of coal. Then it’s a grind for coal if you want to keep doing this.
I just save up flowers and sell them to goofy, it takes me 5 minutes and end up with 2k every five minutes
I liked this idea but the fact that you have to use coal to cook those souffles are going to be a pass for me. This is probably good when you're coming on new and have Harvested lots of coal but it's damaging when you need that coal later on. This is my second day playing the game btw but as a newcomer really loved the advice but should input the use of coal and its importance. Also only good if you really want something bad from the shop but not a longterm investment imo.

You can get it from thorns and from mining. Be sure to bring a mining buddy along with you!

I tried this. Too tedious. I want to find pumpkin seeds so I can sell pumpkins.
Pumpkins are more of a "late game" method. This one is just good for some quick cash way earlier.

This method must have been nerfed. I did not make very much money by the time I ran out of coal :(
Get Kristoff's stall and put it in the mix. He sells coal ore for 5 gold. If you add that to the other ingredients it costs 825 per souffle (including the coal) and you can sell for 1230. I am sure there are easier ways but this is 50% exponential profit if you reinvest it all

It isn't a fast or exciting way of making money. If you buy all of the ingredients it is 825 star coins in total. Each souffle sells for 1230. This is a profit of 405 star coins each. There has to be a better way.

Yea but the tax and limiting factor is the coal. If you don’t have enough, you won’t be able to cook. This is a very deceptive technique unless you have A LOT of coal
