Playing on a PC (bought through Steam) and having a difficult time trying to find a complete map of keyboard/mouse controls. Do y'all have a guide on this?
I bought 198 carrot seeds for just shy of 2k gold, from having a lvl 8 friend picking them I made back a whopping 13.7k gold. Just plant a bunch of carrots, go fish for a while (eat the cheap fish for more energy) and you'll complete some of the bonuses at the same time. Addicted to this game.
I have a eggplant farm up in the frozen place and I have about 800 growing at a time with my bonus from my companion are usually get 1500+ usually make between 300,000 and 400,000
One really bad thing about the switch version is that it keeps shutting down and kicking you out of the game. And if you haven’t saved you have to redo everything you did
Just FYI, the cooking scales with whatever you put into it! So it’s always worth it to cook, even if you use extra ingredients. Five carrots gives you a Grilled Veggie Platter worth 271 gold. Great guide!
One thing I figured out to do that I have not seen anyone else doing yet is you can go all over the map and move all the fruit trees and bushes to one spot. You can even move some trees like the lemon trees in the forest that are blocked behind mushroom stumps if your pick is not upgraded. You don't have to water these or take care of them at all, just harvest and sell for quick cash.
I turned the meadow into an orchard by moving all the fruits as I unlocked areas. You can make a silly amount of gold doing this as they refresh quiet frequently.
1. Unlock Remy and his restaurant 2. Place restaurant next to one of Goofy's stalls and an oven 3. Purchase Milk, Butter, Eggs and Cheese 4. Go outside and craft as many soufflés as you can 5. Sell them at a substantial profit! 6. Rinse and repeat Just make sure you have a lot of coal, you can make hundreds of thousands quickly.
Not a good money making way because coal is not unlimited. The best money making crop is canola but it really drives you insane because it have 35 minutes grow time. Therefore, for lower effort, pumpkin is the best although at 1.68 coin/min vs canola at 2.4 coin/min but you can plant less (if you don't have big initial investment). You also don't need to replant the same seed over and over. You plant all of them down and wait 4 hours (water them at 2 hours, they need a rewater at 2hours) and play the game. : )

I guess it's still a good method for those who don't like the gardening method (gardening also uses energy whereas cooking does not require energy) And as I mentioned before, Coal can sometimes be purchased from Kristoff's store, so people can stock up on it that way. Each to their own I guess.
Glad someone said this. I've seen a few reviewers complaining about this. I figured that out the hard way always make sure you have your fishing buddy too so you get extra. I had the event thing and got like 11 seaweed in 1 go. Donald's boat is fixed up nice!

Or just hold onto 50 coconuts/bananas/apples. I'm at lvl 25 and a full energy fill is 3 coconuts and an apple. I always keep a stack of coconuts on me since they give 500 energy each. Then you don't got to run all the way home or build in that small space by the home
@@TheMoistDonuts 3 bananas does it but if I'm having a farm session (I have about 200 slots between my house and Mickey's) then I just find it easier to nip inside and out. The bananas I use everywhere else (I'm level 22 so it's not going too badly) 😊
Alternatively, once you unlock the Forest of Valor, you can buy canola seeds for 25 each and smell the grown canola for 109 each for a 84 gold profit. That's what I'm doing now.

Want to get rich early in th game.. Unlock the Glade of Trust. Upgrade Goofy's stall to max to unlock Okra. seeds cost around 135 gold. But you will sell for around 114 each. I grow 200 each time, resulting in 600 Okra in 2 hours. 600 Okra sell for 68,400. Check map occassionaly for the orange water icon, it tells you when crops dry as sometimes they still look wet. Move all the fruit plants to a single spot, I prefer one side of the meadow with a 200 plot farm in Plaza. The fruit refresh every 15 mins or so. Also build storage chests using softwood and stone. Place them near your resources. All storage is linked together, so even tho items may be in a different biome you can still use them when crafting/cooking. Hope this helps
The method that OP is describing is EARLY EARLY game where very little is unlocked but yes Okra is another good money maker that also spits out multiple crops for 1 plant.
Just throwing this out there that it's important to eventually fill up holes because you will reach a "village item limit" and it won't let you drop anything or decorate.
Tip for a little farther in, if you have excess coal, buy sand in bulk from Kristoff (or dig it but that'll take a while) then make it into glass and sell it, it's worth more than the 5 sand you made it with.
Making fruit salad with Raspberries, Bananas, and Apples is a great money maker. Fruit salad normally provides a small profit for a fruit, but each additional fruit drastically increases profit for each of the fruit added, creating a massive profit bonus. These three fruit are unlocked very quickly. That makes a significantly higher profit cooked food than the crudites quickly available. Better yet, fruit costs nothing, so the profit is massive.
Quick note: Crops are time-locked so time traveling to harvest them fast will not work because when you start the game again the crops will be dried out.
@@elitedoller4958 I mean sure it is - but for those who want to do it as fast as possible its an option for them. Unfortunately you're going to actually have to manually change the time on your PC if you play the game at night, as a lot of the NPCS go to sleep at that time.
started playing this yesterday, and the last time I looked at the clock....it was 5 am!! I forgot to go to sleep!! my fave so far is WallE..he is SO CUTE!! this is good, I have been struggling with money..Ursula's house is expensive! (when you don't have much money), and upgrading the restaurant.....and I want to expand my house! so much I want to do, so little time and money to do it! 😆😆 (on a side note.....nice voice you have there 😊👍)

There's a few things you can't move. For one - The other "Goofy shops" can't be moved from the current area they are in. You also can't move planted resources, spices, and a few other things. There's also a few buildings that are a no-go as well.
I definitely was on the fence about playing this game, but once again after watching you play it, I want to play it too! At least until wylde flowers comes out on steam anyways
I found a really cheap way to level up your friends. Pick up as many flowers as you can and spam give them to said friend. You will level them up really fast. Each flower gives a substantial amount of friend xp. This method doesn't require you to use energy or spend money. The farming is a good way to make money, same with mining and fishing but require energy to do so. Great Video btw
Playing around with cooking recipes. Using 5 carrots or 5 whatever vegetable gives quite a lot for money. You can build more chests to have in your house too. I have 3 right now. All cooking and crafting items in your chests will still be able to be used from the stove or crafting bench. You also move much faster when your health bar is double full. Eat fruit or fish to normal fill them eat cooked food to fill the yellow health bar.
This video told me I need to reset my island 🤣🤣 your farming section is insane I don’t even have one apart from the little plot next to my house, and where yours is, is where I put mirabels house so don’t have to much space 😮
Great tips! I personally went with fishing for money 😅 it's really decent with a fishing partener. But with your tips you make money faster and as you said, you can do something else while it grows.
Did you know that recipes get more expensive and give you more stamina if you use 5 carrots (or the vegetable you like) at once? Using items that have more value and stamina like coconut instead of blueberries, for example, can make them better too

i spent 20k on onion seeds and ended up making 82-84k after harvest ( i harvested with wall-e who has the gardening skill and im just about max friendship with him ) i feel like i should add that you can buy onion seeds for 50 each or about 5k for 99 seeds in the forest of valor ( you also need to upgrade goofys stall to level 3 ) also also you only get one onion per plant BUT if you have a villager with the gardening skill it creates more. with wall-e i ended up with 240+ seeds i believe maybe more and ended up with well over 400 onions in the end.
another tipp if you want full stamina, go to the world of ratatouille get the ingredients for free and cook something good, then eat it until you have full stamina. when you have full stamina you can leave the world and you will still have the full stamina.
@@kbrown6635 thats not what i meant the stamina bar has 2 bars one just fills up when you go at home, but the second bar you can just fill it up when you eat foods (golden bar). When the you have golden bar you can run faster and have double stamina.
You probably are having the same issue I had. My tip for you is not to pre tap. But to actually wait until after the sound plays that way you will never miss. Heck I'll be reading something while fishing and never miss a beat 🤣
Quick note for everyone watching you can honestly get money faster with fishing. I was testing out ways to get money last night and it's easier to fish with a buddy. You can fish in blue spots in the meadow for pretty well guaranteed 600 coin fish. I got 30k in an hour compared to waiting for plants to grow. I recommend planting tomatoes and then fish til they are done then you can switch back to your gardening buddy when the plants are done. In one hour I got about 40k doing it this way

I cannot eat food that gives buffs due to a bug that gives me an error everytime I try to load up my save game. Ive restarted about 4 times now to try and bypass any bug. The bugs will not win!!!
I followed this too, until I upgraded to the Chili Pepper & now I'm on the Eggplant. 😎 (UPDATE 1 hr later) I harvested a whopping 300 eggplants with a character & gotz me over 100K! Yowies. 💲💵💰😍💰💵💲

OH MY GOODNESS! I was stuck on not being able to find any more wheat for Remy’s quest and didn’t know it didn’t grow naturally in Peace Meadows, but you had to BUY it there @ Goofy’s shop! I thought I’d have to wait till it rotated in but this video finally helped me figure out I had to upgrade it!!’ THANK YOU 😭😭💖
Has anyone else had crops glitch? I planted around 100 carrots but I cant water them and they won't grow. I can't even remove them? Had carrots glitched into the ground for 24 hours now.
Does anyone else have a bug for Lost in the Dark Grove were your emeralds are miscounting? I had 6 at one point and it was still showing as 1, did all sorts of things then I eventually sold them all and it's still showing as 1? Any ideas lol??
See, what doesn’t make sense is why it costs coal to cook in your house. Especially on an electric range, wish you could cook without coal only in your house on an electric range. Great video though, and I am loving the game as well
How do you find out which villagers have gardening, fishing, etc expertise? I'm just asking because I know that I'll eventually forget who has what when I get more characters.
If you go to under Collection then to Character you can see your friendship level for each one, as well as their favorite gifts for the day and their perk. Hope this helps :)

anyone else completely unable to get people to follow? I have tried multiple times with Mickey and Goofy to go fishing / Gardening and they completely ignore me after saying 'I'd Love to!' when i ask if they want to hang out. I also cant sell a lot of items as it keeps coming up with 'Missing amount' Keen as to play but the bugs are frustrating. I know its early access but these seem to small to be over looked.

Hey, for anyone struggling to get seaweed...just fish where there aren't bubbles in the ocean. Usually you'll get seaweed.

When you are buying 99 seeds just do the minus button when you are at 1 and it goes backwards to 99. Also works the same in dinkum 😊

I've been doing this and went from 5 - 16 in a matter of a couple minutes or so. It's really easy and it's honestly best way of making monies!

I get Raspberries and Apples fromntrees already grown but where can I get bananas?

You could just change the time like every 5-10 minutes to speed the process up without overshooting the harvest period

@@kbrown6635 thats not what i meant the stamina bar has 2 bars one just fills up when you go at home, but the second bar you can just fill it up when you eat foods (golden bar).
When the you have golden bar you can run faster and have double stamina.

Fishing in this game is so hard. I’m on level five. Goofy can annoy me at times.😂but I love it. I play animal crossing too.
You probably are having the same issue I had. My tip for you is not to pre tap. But to actually wait until after the sound plays that way you will never miss. Heck I'll be reading something while fishing and never miss a beat 🤣

Quick note for everyone watching you can honestly get money faster with fishing. I was testing out ways to get money last night and it's easier to fish with a buddy. You can fish in blue spots in the meadow for pretty well guaranteed 600 coin fish. I got 30k in an hour compared to waiting for plants to grow. I recommend planting tomatoes and then fish til they are done then you can switch back to your gardening buddy when the plants are done. In one hour I got about 40k doing it this way

I cannot eat food that gives buffs due to a bug that gives me an error everytime I try to load up my save game. Ive restarted about 4 times now to try and bypass any bug. The bugs will not win!!!

OH MY GOODNESS! I was stuck on not being able to find any more wheat for Remy’s quest and didn’t know it didn’t grow naturally in Peace Meadows, but you had to BUY it there @ Goofy’s shop! I thought I’d have to wait till it rotated in but this video finally helped me figure out I had to upgrade it!!’ THANK YOU 😭😭💖
If you hit the minus button when buying seeds it will take you back to 99 and you dont have to go thru all the numbers. :)

Has anyone else had crops glitch? I planted around 100 carrots but I cant water them and they won't grow. I can't even remove them? Had carrots glitched into the ground for 24 hours now.

The best way to make money is to make a soufflé. Rem sells all the ingredients. I sold 5 of them and made 6kish. Just need a few thousand to start.
Does anyone else have a bug for Lost in the Dark Grove were your emeralds are miscounting? I had 6 at one point and it was still showing as 1, did all sorts of things then I eventually sold them all and it's still showing as 1? Any ideas lol??
Are you selling Shiny Emeralds?? Took me 2 days to complete that quest as i kept getting shiny emeralds, not the standard emerald.

See, what doesn’t make sense is why it costs coal to cook in your house. Especially on an electric range, wish you could cook without coal only in your house on an electric range. Great video though, and I am loving the game as well

How do you find out which villagers have gardening, fishing, etc expertise? I'm just asking because I know that I'll eventually forget who has what when I get more characters.
you select it once they hit level 2 friendship
If you go to under Collection then to Character you can see your friendship level for each one, as well as their favorite gifts for the day and their perk. Hope this helps :)
@@Gabe-fd7sd Oh no! I didn't know you could assign different roles for characters. Is it possible to change it once a character has been assigned or am I stuck with gardening for Mickey,Goofy and Merlin?
@@CrystalLynn1988 @Crystal Lynn You cant change it if im not mistaken, however that's not a bad thing! From a money making perspective it's great to have more than 1 as a garden helper since they level up really fast. I have like 4 of them 😅

anyone else completely unable to get people to follow? I have tried multiple times with Mickey and Goofy to go fishing / Gardening and they completely ignore me after saying 'I'd Love to!' when i ask if they want to hang out.
I also cant sell a lot of items as it keeps coming up with 'Missing amount'

You think that's alit wait till u unlock the other stands in the other biomes all be getting close to 40 thousand everytime u sell the different plants
you can change your clock on your platform to skip grow time too 😁
Be careful, when you travel back to real time it breaks the game where nothing will grow or reset until you naturally progress back to the point you skipped to
