TWO BRITISH girls are the most unlikely best friends as one is a goth, and the other a pastel lolita. Rosie Hinton, 21, is a pastel-coloured ’80’s space baby’ living in London with her best friend, and goth, Jude. Not only do the pair dress in massively contrasting styles, they have even themed their bedrooms around their unique looks. Rosie’s bedroom is jam-packed with pink toys, happy clowns, and colorful stuffed animals, while Jude has taken the more minimal approach, choosing only black and white decor. Same here and yet my boyfriend found my dream bedroom that has one of my two favorite color, purple, in various shades as the dominate one and my second favorite color, black, splash here and there. The curtains are purple but they are a heavy material so that light cannot come in. I want that as my bedroom, of course I would add a bit more black to it and even put out my various things that I have.

I am in awe of people who have the energy to dedicate to this level of detail! I love it! I imagine most attitudes have shifted to be less judgemental and more appreciative of different styles/fashion/aesthetic now (2022) compared to 2018. Some people will always be cranky and nosy but that attitude is considered so old fashioned now a days.
They're not exactly just Gothic or Lolita alone, they're both a very similar style, maximizing their cutesy accessories, just different choice of colors.
