I watched a few also, but this one definitely felt the most natural, no jumping around screaming. To be honest they did exactly what my son and I did, slapping each other and all. So ye I'm also subbing. Keep it up lads
All three hallway scenes were great in their own way. Vader, as always, was doing his master's bidding, releasing his pain and hate to people unlucky enough to be on the opposite side of the war. Maul was frightened of being brought to Sidious in a silver platter, and he channeled that fear to kill everyone in his sight without even a lightsaber, a beast that is supposed to be long dead already unleashed and trying to avoid Sidious desperately. Luke was answering a call, simply doing what he was supposed to do, destroying his enemies on the way. My favourite is Maul.
I will take an appearance by Luke anyway I can get it. Story perfection! Grogu will not die at the school. He will leave before it is destroyed because the Mandalorian already promised he would see the kid again. Love your reactions!
What I thought of the episode .... childhood nostalgia and awe the moment I saw Luke’s face....and screamed and tears, cheering. But loved baby Grogu acting like a typical infant ... touching his dadolorian’s face. And then asking to be carried by Luke.
I mean by watching Mandalorian, i watched every reactions channels, no hard feelings to the others, but this channel is by far the best to me. KYLE KATARN is so lore friendly and give more info and side knowledge when I was in doubt, and quite surprised others saying are they looking for Boba at first episode in 2nd season he is the only one mentioned Cobb Vanth
I got teary eyed when Red 5 came on screen, got so giddy when Luke got his own hallway scene, then I did end up balling like a baby when Dun removed his helmet for Grogu.... then R2 came in... oh my god, was I glad that no one saw me that morning
They're saying there's going to be more seasons of Mandalorian, so I assume that Grogu will come back at some point, which should hopefully have him safe and away by the time things go south. Especially given the obvious age difference in Luke between this and RotS Grogu has quite a few years to go before that happens.
I love Gideon in this episode some very good acting that came for his character. I love the small details with him especially his realization that its THE Luke Skywalker the one responsible for not only blowing up the first Death Star but also defeating Palpatine and I'll say Darth Vader cause everyone was panicking when escaping the second death star when it was blowing up so it was amazing seeing that fear from him and how he quickly tries to take out the child and his own life
Man what a Christmas present this was. Filoni and Favreau have really done a beautiful thing for the fans with this series, and this is only the beginning...
When that theme started playing when Luke was demolishing the Dark troopers.... by the force that was incredible. I was worried they’d just cast someone else, but I’m glad they made an effort to bring Mark Hamil back, and tried to De-age him. Turned out great in my opinion.
Y'alls reaction and knowledge is why I am here. The emotional roller coaster this episode brought plus the end credit scene was nothing I ever expected or experienced. This is why I love Star Wars. Glad that you guys exist. Thanks so much.
"Is it Trapper Wolf?" Honestly, that was my first thought too. I thought for a moment that it was going to be Trapper Wolf leading the cavalry in. Then they said "One X-Wing..." and it clicked. My next thought was "Don't fuck this up..." ...And they didn't.
We, as fans, never got to see Luke in his prime - coming into his powers. He was always a boy, in Jedi training. Between Luke, the DarkSaber, the stories of Mandalor, Grogu, and all the nostalgia, my gut is in knots. And I saw it two days ago!!!
Why Bo-Katan won't take the Darksaber - this is her third try at ruling Mandalore. The first time, she was put on the throne by the Republic, and then she failed. She was overthrown by the Empire. The second time, she accepted the Darksaber without fighting for it, and then she failed. She was overthrown by the Empire _again._ It's hardly surprising that after that, she wants to make sure she does it _right_ this time.
Wonderful stuff, guys. Your reactions are pure, raw everything. I’m convinced that Bendu is the three-way love child of James McAvoy, Elijah Wood, and Gary Sinise. That’s pretty good company. A mutant, a Hobbit, and a lieutenant walk into a lunar bar...
I love how the Dark Trooper theme sounds opposite of The Mandalorian main theme. Very fast-paced electronic sounds as opposed to slow paced with wood or other natural instruments. I'm not 100% on music terms so I could be using them incorrectly. I don't know if it was intended to show they are Din's worst fears- Droids and Empire rolled into one, but that's what I kept thinking about.
It's been a day and it *still* hasn't fully sunken in for me. I cannot describe how happy this season has made me. The closest I can is; It made me feel like a kid again. From seeing Boba alive, Bo Katan & Ashoka live-action, and now Luke Skywalker in his prime before the mess of TLJ. And all the little sprinkles of info/lore. I haven't been this satisfied with a tv show since the Last Airbender. lol With Favreau and Filoni in charge of the story/direction, I feel like a golden age of SW is possible if not already here. It's been a pleasure riding this out with y'all. I can't wait to see what's next. Happy holidays everyone! It's my hope that everyone stays safe and here's to 2021!
That is how you tell a story I think Favro knew that’s where he wanted to go from day 1 and they just took 16 episodes to tell that story. Amazing, simply amazing
Everybody's forgetting, (conveniently, perhaps?) that Bo Katan is no longer in possession of the Darksaber, or her Planet, BECAUSE she just took it from Sabine without winning it in battle. Even if it's not actually the case, in her mind it most likely is. And that's PLENTY enough reason to prevent her from just taking it again from the Mandalorian right now. Sabine beat Gar Saxon for the Darksaber outside her parent's house in Rebels, but refused to kill him after disarming him and telling him to yield. But, when he refused and tried shooting her when she was walking away her mother shot him through the chest instead. Saving her life. Since then Sabine had handed the Darksaber over to Bo Katan, and at that point she hadn't won it in combat herself. Most likely creating enough doubt and apprehension about her rule over Mandalore that before long, it was in the hands of Moff Gideon and she was exiled from her Planet. I really don't think it's any more trivial than that, she's clearly NOT about to repeat that mistake, especially in front of her fellow Mandalorians and Moff Gideon himself, and risk having the Darksaber without having first proven she's EARNED it. And, They don't just have to fight, Bo Katan would need to WIN, but she wouldn't necessarily have to kill him, just defeat him in combat the Same way the Mandalorian was able to disarm Moff Gideon, relinquishing the Darksaber to him, the weapon's new rightful owner. If she wants it now,, she's going to have to disarm him of it at the very least, and against the Mandalorian it's hardly a certainty at ALL that Bo Katan would be able to do that. (I'm just sayin') 👍
That really was Mark Hamel AND his voice! They "enhanced" his face like they did Sam L Jackson in Capt Marvel. WHAT A SHOW!!!! "Emmy" maybe? Mark tweeted Friday evening; "Seen anything good on TV lately?" Cast in order of appearance: last one is Mark Hamel!
This very scene has changed my look on Star Wars forever.... I cried and felt like a 10 year old boy seeing like again on screen. This was a masterpiece
Bo has lost the saber like 3 times. The saber has United the Mandalorians before yes. But the mandos don’t get along based off who they think is weak and strong. She pulls up with the darksaber which she didn’t win officially, she won’t be properly respected by a good portion of who remains.
About the fan-theory that R2 saved Grogu... I think it was the Youngling that fought the 501st to let Bail Organa escape. I think he saw Bail fly in and hid Grogu in his trunk before jumping into the Troopers to save them both
Grogu was hidden during Anakin's assault on the Jedi Temple. R2 was there because he accompanied Anakin when he returned to Padme afterward. I think R2D2 hid Grogu.
I suspect we’ll see Sebastian Stan as Luke in Season 3, but it HAD to be Mark Hamill in this season’s climax for a whole host of reasons. This was The Best Ending to a TV Series Season EVER!
LOOOOOOVED the applause and reaction to Luke (and the internal cry haha)! :D I really like how you can notice things like how the fighting style is the unique to each jedi. That shows a real fan!
Dudes I was crying so hard when Luke showed up to be a complete badass!!! This season of the Mandalorian has made the 14 year old kid in me very, very happy. So many great callbacks in this episode too. Din giving up Grogu to a Jedi, just like Shmi with Anakin. Din taking off his helmet so he could see Grogu with his own eyes, like Vader with Luke. Luke's fighting style matching Anakin's. The tv's with Dark Troopers marching is I think an easter egg for THX 1138, but it might be another movie. 10/10 masterpiece!
Loved this episode, loved the Luke and Vader "its like poetry, it rhymes" hallway moment. Excited to see how Mando's story will progress, great reaction ya'll, entertaining as always!

Past Bendu: "Darth Maul has the coolest hallway scene ever."
Today Bendu: "I retract my previous statement."
Maul's was better
@@Bayard1503 yeah maul is just a bad ass
All three hallway scenes were great in their own way.
Vader, as always, was doing his master's bidding, releasing his pain and hate to people unlucky enough to be on the opposite side of the war.
Maul was frightened of being brought to Sidious in a silver platter, and he channeled that fear to kill everyone in his sight without even a lightsaber, a beast that is supposed to be long dead already unleashed and trying to avoid Sidious desperately.
Luke was answering a call, simply doing what he was supposed to do, destroying his enemies on the way.
My favourite is Maul.
Thank you Mr. Filoni and Mr. Favreau for helping me to love Star Wars again.
I like the fact that Luke got the similar "corridor" scene like his father in Rogue One. :D
was heart warming moment seeing R2 And Grogu together as R2 Seeing an Old friend again
That hallway scene... Ghost Anakin is like: That's my boy!
Also that helmet scene was so emotional 😭
And what tips you off is that the channel is named after the same guy in Legends
I got teary eyed when Red 5 came on screen, got so giddy when Luke got his own hallway scene, then I did end up balling like a baby when Dun removed his helmet for Grogu.... then R2 came in... oh my god, was I glad that no one saw me that morning
“That’s a good voice” yeah cause it’s actually Mark, Kyle lol
'That voice is good too'
Yup... you could say that!
"So this means Ben Solo kills Grogu"
Shoots dirty looks * I swear, if the camera wasn't on right now...*
They're saying there's going to be more seasons of Mandalorian, so I assume that Grogu will come back at some point, which should hopefully have him safe and away by the time things go south. Especially given the obvious age difference in Luke between this and RotS Grogu has quite a few years to go before that happens.
I don't think I will never not come back to this reaction, one of the best.
Watched with my friend and my dad and we were in awe. Absolutely amazing finale.
I am sure Luke's father would have been proud of that ferocious hallway scene. It's a family tradition!
I love Gideon in this episode some very good acting that came for his character. I love the small details with him especially his realization that its THE Luke Skywalker the one responsible for not only blowing up the first Death Star but also defeating Palpatine and I'll say Darth Vader cause everyone was panicking when escaping the second death star when it was blowing up so it was amazing seeing that fear from him and how he quickly tries to take out the child and his own life
I'm a 42 year old man but when I watched this episode and my childhood hero Luke Skywalker, I was a 5 year old boy again.
Epic!
"One X-Wing? Great. We're saved(!)"
Everyone: Why are you being sarcastic?
I love how Luke just casually took the elevator after mowing down the dark troopers
You guys have the best Mandalorian reactions on TH-cam.
Man what a Christmas present this was. Filoni and Favreau have really done a beautiful thing for the fans with this series, and this is only the beginning...
The ability to amass a platoon of Dark Troopers is insignificant next to the power of the Force
I love how Luke tapped into both the light and dark. We see it especially when he crushes one of the dark troopers with the force.
"Is it Trapper Wolf?"
Honestly, that was my first thought too. I thought for a moment that it was going to be Trapper Wolf leading the cavalry in. Then they said "One X-Wing..." and it clicked. My next thought was "Don't fuck this up..."
...And they didn't.
We, as fans, never got to see Luke in his prime - coming into his powers. He was always a boy, in Jedi training. Between Luke, the DarkSaber, the stories of Mandalor, Grogu, and all the nostalgia, my gut is in knots. And I saw it two days ago!!!
Loved the Battlestar Galactica visual references when the TIE fighters were launching and Katie crash-landed into the cruiser ;-)
Just when I thought your reactions could not get any better...end credit scene, Perfection. Long Live The Empire
Luke: reveals green lightsaber
Kyle Katarn: *ARGH!*
Love the reaction, you two!
All ninja around me: "Cutting Onions No Jutsu!"
Sage Art, Wood Release: Onion Forest Jutsu!
3:14 to quote the late great Chadwick Boseman, “The living aren’t done with you yet.”
That “perfect!” got me haha
I haven't been this satisfied with a tv show since the Last Airbender. lol
With Favreau and Filoni in charge of the story/direction, I feel like a golden age of SW is possible if not already here. It's been a pleasure riding this out with y'all. I can't wait to see what's next.
Happy holidays everyone! It's my hope that everyone stays safe and here's to 2021!
Saw you on one of the compilations, just subbed!
We Cried that the result.
Thank you Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni
you all saved StarWars.
In your face Ruin Johnson !!!
Star Wars never needed saving gatekeeper.
Best EVER! I nearly pulled my hair out when Luke sliced through.
The guy in the left looks like Gary Sinise and Mike Patton merged into one guy.
Awesome reactions, dudes
This moment was amazing i haven't felt like this since i first watched the OG trilogy and Revenge of Sith.
**Me entering the reaction video**
"These two have no fucking idea how much they're about to cry and sweat."
This very scene has changed my look on Star Wars forever.... I cried and felt like a 10 year old boy seeing like again on screen. This was a masterpiece
@@Pinkielover luke was the reason
Lol, you guys crack me up, loved the “hurry up, don’t do your little sexy walk”, LMAO! And yes, I cried. Not ashamed, this was quality!
Outstand gentlemen....It is a relief when someone knows their neighborhood....I saw ones that didn't even know who Luke was....sad, but true.
The yell at 2:39 is awesome!
Bo has lost the saber like 3 times. The saber has United the Mandalorians before yes. But the mandos don’t get along based off who they think is weak and strong. She pulls up with the darksaber which she didn’t win officially, she won’t be properly respected by a good portion of who remains.
This is the real reason Boba needed that armor, because nobody knows who he is without it. He needs that street cred to take over Jabba's operation.
"I'm luke skywalker, I'm here to rescue Grogu..."
About the fan-theory that R2 saved Grogu... I think it was the Youngling that fought the 501st to let Bail Organa escape. I think he saw Bail fly in and hid Grogu in his trunk before jumping into the Troopers to save them both
That doesn't line up with what happened in the movie. Zett Jukasa couldn't have done that. Appo comes out before he shows up.
Grogu was hidden during Anakin's assault on the Jedi Temple. R2 was there because he accompanied Anakin when he returned to Padme afterward. I think R2D2 hid Grogu.
I cried so much while watching this. Brought me back to being a little kid again. More of this is what Star Wars fans need.
I suspect we’ll see Sebastian Stan as Luke in Season 3, but it HAD to be Mark Hamill in this season’s climax for a whole host of reasons. This was The Best Ending to a TV Series Season EVER!
9:28 love y'alls attention!! Instantly back to the screen. 😂
Kyle's face when he realized it was Luke was such pure surprise and happiness.
LOOOOOOVED the applause and reaction to Luke (and the internal cry haha)! :D I really like how you can notice things like how the fighting style is the unique to each jedi. That shows a real fan!
Ahh, thank you for watching! I've been really enjoying your brand new reactions too, I love that you say "artie dootie"
Thank god I almost thought they didn't react to the end credits scene lol
This right here takes me back to when i was a kid. Thanks so much to all the cast and crew for this. Great reaction guys.
The last scene with Boba at the palace, on the throne, sort of reminded me of the end scene of Conan the Barbarian, with him on the throne.
Luke- sees his fathers face before his father dies.
Grogu- sees his Fathers face before he leaves with Luke.
I love this. I love this so damn much.
Mando is not his father. It was his choice to leave by calling for the Jedi via the seeing stone
@@surunitemiakanni-oye4346 you don't have to be related to be family. Mando is Grogu's adoptive father.
Star Wars has always been aboutfamily, especially fathers and sons and about story circles. In this sense, Mandalorian followes up ths Star Wars traditions perfectly.
