I concur with Mr President, we should revive our local government system so they can cater to the rural communities. The state governments should also be accountable to the people. The Federal government cannot reach the remote parts of Nigeria, that's why we have local and state governments.

Mr Kolade Otitoju, please you can do more findings. Peter Obi conducted local government elections in 2014, though, it was few months before the end of his administration as governor. The assertion that local government elections never happened in 20 years in Anambra state is not correct. Fact check!

Your point is why did he leave it late before conducting the local government elections which I agreed with but My own point is that Mr Otitoju should not have said that there was no local government elections at all in Anambra state for the past 20years whereas there was one in 2014 albeit conducted lately.
