She's talked about this in previous interviews, but can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that Sydney takes the time to put together entire journals for her characters to prepare for her roles? So much dedication, and it really shows in her performances.
@@EuphoriaHBO As much as I'd like to agree and praise Syd even more, this show deserves all the talent it has to portray its characters because there's no other way such an important set of stories can be told.
all the character lookrd so so deep in their characters and understood them they didnt just act like them they were them and i think thats just amazing
Kind of cool to learn that Cassie and Lexi have a closer relationship than I initially thought. I couldn't really tell in previous episodes. They confide in each other quite a bit. I thought she might even tell Lexi about her pregnancy before she told her mom.
Yea! I wish we knew more about Lexi (probably by season 2) because she kind of flies under the radar, but she's saved half the characters here from getting into deeper shit. Girl needs recognition.
I liked this episode and she is my favorite character. I feel so sorry for her, for how toxic men used her, how many girls can relate to this, no matter the country or cultural background. She is a good and kind person and don't deserve to be treated like this.
Not saying she deserved to be treated the way she did...but she literally cheated on her boyfriend after watching him get sexually assaulted. I don't think she's a very kind or good person.
they got too many drugs to flush down the toilet so logically they are fucked, but if they didn’t get caught which they probably didn’t cuz it’s a tv show, mouse would go ape on fez for losing all that shit so yeah both ash and fez are most likely fucked!
Some of the characters are so lucky to have their parents, Jules is so lucky to have her dad who is acceptant and supportive, Rue is lucky to have a nurturing and caring mom, Cassie is lucky to have a loving mom. Nate is the one who desperately needs a figure in his life to give him support and care, Maddy too.
Ruaimaa Hasan Maddie’s dad is trash, but her mom is quite amazing. She basically supports the family financially and as soon as she senses that Maddie is not safe she tries to protect her( pressing charges against Nate and pulling Maddie out of pageants since there were a lot of pedos around).
Damm, Sydney is everywhere and I love it. First, Handmaid's Tale, now Euphoria. I heard she's also in the new Tarantino movie too. Gonna look for her there. She has an incredible future and I can't wait for more of her.
Cassie was probably the character I related to the most I’ve been used and exposed by many different boys I thought cared about me at first, I stop caring after a while and numbed myself until I found my current boyfriend who at first was also a little worried of what people would think of us he has to deal with everyone’s opinions of me but he still loves me and I did actually get pregnant as well at 18 with him difference is I did decide to keep my baby girl I love them both very much anyway this show has a very special place in my heart it’s pretty amazing💜
I really like that the series started with Cassie not liking her mother but as the series evolves, Cassie realises that her mother is a human being too and that she has her own problems etc. I think as younger children we kinda see our parents as this heroes that just exist to help and guide us but when we get older we realise that they have just as many struggles as we have and then we really start to forgive them things they did when we were younger
Again, Nate gets on my nerves! He's a big psycho snitch, always calling the cops on everyone. Smh. Fez is in big trouble.... he better not get arrested! 😤
i relate to cassie so much oh my god. from daddy issues to being constantly used for your body and feeling like you need validation make you feel worth it.
The one thing that I see in all of these characters is the parental dynamics are insane. In every single case the father is either gone or over baring. And that representation of men shapes all of these people for life
Honestly I applaud her for this interview she explained Cassie so well and how this happens to many girls and it’s sad really. Looking for love somewhere else because ur father left you or your father was never there for you and it hurts. Then men use you up and you think it’s okay but it’s not. I wish people would stop saying they hate Cassie character in real life. She doesn’t even seem like that in real life 😂
Just saw her in the movie once upon a time in Hollywood the other night and wow this girl is everywhere!! Must be nice to be on 2019’s coolest show AND movie plus she is gorgeous! I think she will go very far and I’m here for it😊😍
Kinda tear up on this episode. It's like Cassie's family slowly descended to shitfuckry because of how her parents couldn't communicate and trust each other. And it affected her really bad in so many ways.
I love these after specials allowing the actors to speak about there view point on the show. It also helps to remind the audience that they’re adult actors playing teenagers.
People always say that want a fez, ashtray, Lexi, and Gia backstory but I lowkey want a backstory on cassies mom because the fact she always told Cassie not to get pregnant makes me think she had something happen to her like that at a young age maybe she had to deal with her mom being a teenage mom and doesn’t want Cassies kids have to deal with what she went through as a kid idk I overthink too much but she’s just such an underrated interesting character
In season 2 I'd love to see more of Cassie and Lexi as sisters. From what we've seen so far they seem close, but at the same time, they live in different worlds. Lexi seems more of the "stay home, focus on school" while Cassie is either with McKay or her friends. I have mixed feelings on McKay. I think he's ultimately a nice guy, but caves to peer pressure a lot, which I can understand. embarrassed
Not gonna lie, at first I didn't find much talent in her acting, but eventually I realized she is indeed a very good actress. I think her character has so much still to offer as regards to herself only, apart from pleasing men (just like Maddie) 😊
"I hope that people find themselves in these different characters and know that they're not alone."
omg i love her so muchhhhhhh
@@KD-qr9ff not even Lexi??
@@KD-qr9ff she is not boring wtf
@okayalabama queen
it’s so true because i can relate to all the characters in some ways, especially Cassie.
okayalabama period queen
Detective rue was everything holy cow
I'm like 8 times gayer now because of her fricking suspenders 🌈

Sophia Tello or bad cop good cop Rue (Roy/Troi
scene)
And Lexi they iconic duo 🕵️♀️🕵️♀️

The Someawesome i think they all do , jacob talked about something similar in his interview

Ariana Grande Turkey I agree! There’s so much more to Lexi than what we know. We’ll see!
roy bilekci definitely i feel like something’s going to happen with her and rue for example, her and fez are my fave characters lmao
I liked this episode and she is my favorite character. I feel so sorry for her, for how toxic men used her, how many girls can relate to this, no matter the country or cultural background. She is a good and kind person and don't deserve to be treated like this.

It's so sad to see that she had no respect for herself
She really doesn't

mckay too :(
Well Cassie's mum wasn't that loving. It took until the end of episode 7 to see her be a good mother.
Hopingover Leavesinfall yeah she was an alcoholic no?
cassie is literally the character i feel sorry the most. she really does not deserve whatever she had and is going through.
Yes i even think the same with you ..# but cassie scene is the best scene ..
Damm, Sydney is everywhere and I love it. First, Handmaid's Tale, now Euphoria. I heard she's also in the new Tarantino movie too. Gonna look for her there. She has an incredible future and I can't wait for more of her.
She's in Sharp Objects as well, it's also a great (HBO) series :)
The Ghost of Winterfell she also was in everything sucks.
Don't forget Everything Sucks! That show was quite the launching pad for her. Not to mention so much of her army of fans came up from watching it.
Omg yesss! That is what I know her from. Handmaid's Tale!
I agree. This is just the start for her. She's gonna become a big time actress.
Cassie is probably my favorite character on the show. Shes beautiful and so real. Love her speaking voice as well, wonderful actor! ❤❤
No-one:
The camera man: zooms in on their hands while they talk
This cameraman got a weird obsession with hands, feels like Tarantino with feet
you can tell a lot about a person by how they move their hands when they’re talking, it’s nice to see emotion through not only the face
Love the fact that you managed to find someone despite everything. Good on you.
She's a great actress
Cassie's younger version at the start of the show stole my heart. She is as gorgeous as Sydney.
Sydney's acting improved so much in this season. That scene on the bathroom mirror was just awesome
Best most relatable show I’ve ever seen. Love Rue. Love fez. Love every single character.
BFFs
Even Nate??
Hannah Gutierrez Nate is a sociopath but he’s a very interesting character. Without him the show would be missing a lot.
Again, Nate gets on my nerves! He's a big psycho snitch, always calling the cops on everyone. Smh. Fez is in big trouble.... he better not get arrested! 😤

In the promo video for ep 8 it looks like fez is holding a gun or whatever
Fez just wanted to help his grandma

The one thing that I see in all of these characters is the parental dynamics are insane. In every single case the father is either gone or over baring. And that representation of men shapes all of these people for life

they all acted so well that i think they are their characters in real life
She and Jacob are the best actors until the moment of the show.
She also did an amazing job on "The Handmaid's Tale"
I WANT MORE OF CASSIE!
I hope they explore more of her relationship with her mom (Lexie’s too) since she’s obviously an alcoholic and that has to have an effect on them.
I have so much sympathy for Cassie. :/ and I hate how she's treated.
Thumbs up for Sydney getting an EMMY 🥰
ugh i love her so much
