I don’t think it was wasted he was good in that movie, it just was an ordinary cliche rom comedy with quite a few dramatic scenes that were quite good. So of course euphoria is elevated 1000% from that. He’s tapped into a darker more cynical role which showcases more of his acting talent. The character gives him that work.

That sequence scene where Nate bangs his head on the floor in complete desperation and full anxiety attack after seing himself and his dad reflection on the mirror. What a raw scene. Loved it how euphoria got so real. Instant respect for this actor . Portrayed perfectly that powerless feeling and disgust his character was going through. And in this interview you can clearly see he connected with Nate and comprehends it to it's core. Nate can be a monster who hides a broken child in him, and when jacob said that Nate doesn't has an idea of what a family is supposed to be like, so correct ... the impact of the secret of his father broke the inocense in such a crucial stage of his childhood, in this lies the core of nates complexity and Jacob got it on point! Im looking forward to see more about nate in the upcoming seasons and also more characters interpretated by Jacob .
