Excellent tutorial. I get so many people asking me how to do this, and especially for the stretched canvas. I think it would be a fabulous additional video if you show how a stretched canvas is done. Take care Gram. ❤️

Hi Yovette, that was a cool video. I have never painted the panels before. I've done a few wood slices but no panels.
Since I paint on canvas I would love to see a tutorial how you frame your canvas paintings.
Take care my friend Rooster ✌❤🎨
I love the flat panel canvas Rooster, it is such a space saver. If I were selling at the present time, I would use stretched canvas, but for tutorials they are great! I will be doing another video on framing stretched canvas. Thanks for your input! 😘💗🎨
I would love a video on the stretched canvas I have just recently a picture frame assembly tool mines called a T225 Dual Tab Driver you can even change the force that the pin goes in for different woods.i just finished my first painting using the Bob Ross method with my new Bob Ross brushes, I will send a picture off it to you.
Just had to go look up your new toy! I believe it is pretty similar. They are wonderful for flat canvas. And your first BR painting? Yay, I bet you had a really fun time, after your nerves calmed down that is, lol! 😂
Hello 👋 Yovette another great informative video and so helpful as always ,I have also picked up some cheap frames In second hand shops (thrift I think you call them) a stretched canvas video would be great too Yovette, hope your keeping well ,god bless 🇬🇧
That is wonderfu Sylvial! Those second hand stores are a really great place to find frames. Sometimes you can even find ones that look almost new. The key is just finding one that fits your canvas. Best wishes, my dear. 😘
I don't know how come I wasn't seeing you, but I was missing you. And your videos to watch over and over and sometimes at night I go to sleep to you. Somehow you got Unsubscribed on my U tube but as you can see I got you back!
Oh I am thrilled you got me back Robbie! I have been lost many times before, and sometimes found and sometimes not! Lol 😂 Nice to see you again and now you have lots of catching up to do. Happy Holidays!
❤️👍
Thank you dear!

I woud like it, you came to me. I live near the Baltin sea. In Rostock near Danmark. But it is Not a Problem
@@petral.4756 Thank you, I may someday return again.
@@PaintingWithYovette please do it
Thank you for the video. Is this the brad nailer you are using? Salco F-18 manual picture frame nailer. Uses 11/16" brads. I hope you are doing well.
That is the correct one Sue and Rick, it is a really great tool for not too much money, especially if you do a lot of flat canvas board. And I am doing better everyday, thank you!
Do share on how to frame stretched canvas. Thanks!
Sure thing Isha! Here is the link:

Great video. I never see that kind of frame in Michaels or anywhere else. Is there a name for that type of frame? Thank you.
Hi, Ruth. Michael's does have frames very similar to this kind. The only difference is that they are as not as decorative. I think Michael's frames are pretty plain. I order my frames in bulk from a wholesale house. Sometimes you can find a really good frame that is a little bit decorative in places like Goodwill, and at thrift shops. Keep an eye out for those.
Thank you! All the panels I've found have an obnoxious label on the back, sometimes covering the entire back of the panel. When you are selling or showing your work, how do you make a professional-looking back when you frame it?
I have not run into what you are talking about Vonalda. I guess the only thing you could do is cover the back of a panel with a heavy plain paper and spray on glue??? Or have a frame shop do it for you. I just don't have a really good answer for this, but thank you for your question.
I don't suggest covering the back unless necessary. If its a actual painting it needs to breath. Professional framers will cut a hole on the back on paintings so that they can breath. Of course nobody is going to see the back of the painting if its hung on the wall.
@@brandonmckittrick2822 You are right Brandon, I was thinking of covering just the panel, not the framed painting. Just to get rid of the writing she didn't like. Anyone else have any ideas?
Stretch canvas, please.
That tutorial will be coming next month Danken! Thank you.
Brad? Looks like a staple
Oh nope it's a wee nail
I am using a brad gun Elizabeth, and the box said use 11/16" brads (or nails as you called them). Sorry if this was confusing.
