@@abhijaypandey9405 yeah ancient India 🇮🇳 was very much developed not only in science, arts, but also in philosophy and perspective of life for example in ancient India , Lower caste people used to form and design their own temples and used to choose their top leaders which will represent their unions / caste, also there was no concept of lower or upper caste in ancient India at that time of Lord krishna , before the aryans came from Easter Europe long and long years after the mahabharat war to change course of hinduism vedic rituals and vedanta philosophy in the form of legal written form which is known as manusmriti . Also common people supported and worshipped homosexuals and used to catch their blessings 🙏 for their family and self growth in future , some famous homosexuals also played a significant role in helping pandavas and krishna in mahabharat . Their names, powers, personality and characteristics are also clearly mentioned in our mahabharat textbooks and in their commentaries written by genuine ancient Indian scholars from the past. Also There was no concept of toxic sex or talk of sex as taboo in society , as at that time there did not used to be internet, tv 📺 , smart phones, devices no porn, no soft porn in movies so people didn't hesitated to write, study, and teach about it to young generations students, it was normal like physics, chemistry, carpentry, medicine, math, astrology, music, arts and crafts, history, politics, economics. That's the reason kamasutra was written and studied without any such hesitation.

True Indian religion and culture were never against homosexuality or transgenders. It was the British who made it sound like a bad thing in India. Honestly Indian culture has always been one of the most liberal culture, only until it was affected by the Victorian norms
The unfortunate reality of the situation is the fact that queerness is inherently against patriarchy and its structures, something that Indian culture and savarna cis-het men (and women as well) has thrived off of for centuries, if not decades. It tends to challenge the structures around gender and society that has been deeply established that we are only beginning to unlearn, that too in the context of heterosexual relationships first ("allowing" women to work whether she has kids or not, dowry, the concept of not having kids, etc.) . It is a probable additional reason as to why Indians are also quite averse to the idea of other sexualities (and even other genders for that matter, though Indians have had more exposure to the latter). If India is to truly accept queerness as a whole, we have to move away from the patriarchal structures that have been imposed upon us, which to me would be a seismic shift in Indian society as a whole.

Why don't people realise that Homosexuality is not just about "sexuality" but it is a form of love??? And how and why does 'love' have anything to do with West or East???? Why do we have to defend it by saying it is actually authentically 'Indian' to understand that there is nothing wrong with it? Fights and organised movements for Gender equality began in Ancient Greece and the Suffragist movement in Britain is considered as the first movement for franchise(right to vote) for women. @@abhijaypandey9405 yeah ancient India 🇮🇳 was very much developed not only in science, arts, but also in philosophy and perspective of life
for example
in ancient India ,
Lower caste people used to form and design their own temples and used to choose their top leaders which will represent their unions / caste, also there was no concept of lower or upper caste in ancient India at that time of Lord krishna , before the aryans came from Easter Europe long and long years after the mahabharat war to change course of hinduism vedic rituals and vedanta philosophy in the form of legal written form which is known as manusmriti .

The major problem with most of the people's mentality nowadays is that they just do not understand what really India is and what's its real culture. They are just lost in their own conjectures.
very true
this video is 3 years old and we still haven't changed as much
This is not overthinking....this is the thought indians should have !!! ....you guys are amazing!! Thank you
They said its against indian culture and nature.
Meanwhile the ancient indian culture:- homo and hetro = natural*

Yes but LGBTQ is against Vedas

One of the reason why many say this homosexuality is against culture is because they are not aware of its existence in our culture since don't know what times.
Our job should be to talk about those tradition that was there in the past as much as we can. In fact this is mentioned and talked about in our religious text and there are numerous stories based on such topic.
So rather then ignoring ignorant and adopting western ways to create awareness we need our own ways which we already had to make it normal thing.
Stories drama dance(classical ones) religious tradition bhakti tradition(especially of guadia tradition) etc and combine it with today's social media. It can create wonder. Ways to counter various so called Hindu extremist group. Tell them stories of hara and Hari.

It's my highly request to you..to make a video about the obssession with Hijab... Really Muslims girls suffers a lot.. just by this patriarchal mentality to wear Hijab all the time...even now in this hot summer My muslim friend had to wear Hijab just because her "fufo ka beta" is at her home.. 😭😭😭😓 this topic is really important.. because many Muslims girls go through this😭😭😓😓... Hijab, Nawab, and Burkha in this hot summer is not essential at all...
I am a Muslim but my parents never forced me , I took it on my own . I thing you should talk abou it with your parents, if it's not comforting to to you, you should not wear
They won't make a video on it cuz their only target is defaming Hinduism and hindus.

To the people who believe homosexuality is "unnatural" on the grounds that same sex relationships can't make babies, and that's against law of nature-whatever... BRUH- when will you realise that we as humans live to love and not merely for reproduction? We have far surpassed the stage of mating for spawning! We are evolved, we feel _feelings_ ... uff- i just can't- nvm-
@Saksham Tyagi ayyy. Can't agree more... :'(
Also can I add that orphans exist?? Like there r enough ppl inn this world and a same sex couple or a sterile couple can just adopt a baby😂
My observation- Many Indians go absolutely anime about their 'culture and religion' without having the true knowledge of it. At least have some knowledge before spreading it!

How progressive our society might have been before the colonisers? We should really study our Indian culture. The actual traditions, not one set by extremists

Well said.
Homosexuality is not "against" or "for" anything. It just is.
If everyon become like this Many men would become frustrated and some of these would channel it into sexual violence. Or other kinds of violence.
