Amidst the vitriol of miserable Ohioans screaming for the head coaches head on a pike pole, there is this comment. Kudos to you, and all that remember the higher aspects of humanity over the banality of fandom.
i was in the big house and the stress was palatable in the air during the last couple minutes. the smiles at the end were priceless, especially on the youngsters.
It felt like the Buckeyes were battling uphill because Michigan was the better team. People say it's a team sport, and to some extent they are correct, but to say quarterbacks don't make a huge difference is simply wrong. JJ is a top Contender for the Heisman award, and Ohio State doesn't have an answer for him this year in the quarterback position.
Heh! "I wonder how stressful this was for Michigan fans. I'm sure they felt that . . . it's gonna be tight, and we're winning, and it will all work out in the end." OMG, you guys have no idea. 2 wins in a row prior to this game doesn't erase the concern that Ohio State can charge back with several quick touchdowns. The feeling is, "Oh, !@#$%. Ohio State is clawing back into this one. And now Johnson and Zinter are out?! Is Ohio State going to win this one with a final play to Harrison?" It was stressful.
Hell yeah it was stressful. I thought i was gonna have a heart attack on Ohios last drive. I thought they were getting 7 the way they went down the field in 30 seconds.
Dude I about died of spontaneous combustion. It was not a laid back game for most Michigan fans lol . Osu just seeemd like they were moving the ball so easily some of their drives . Michigan had to seemingly scratch and claw for most of their yards. 3 here , 2 there , 4. I was a wreck until that interception . Then THATS when the heart attack threatened 😂
This game was closer than it had to be for sure, but no way was Allar 2.0 winning this in the 4th. Everyone hears about that Notre Dame game....few know what it really was: Notre Dame lost, Ohio didn't win. Day and his QB (that HE picked over JJ) got exposed. Ohio will go down a notch next year unless they change QBs AND their head coach. Far too conservative. To be the man you gotta beat the man, and he didn't have that playcalling. Everyone now knows how to beat Allar 2.0. Just pressure him. And he won't have Marvin next year to catch the jump balls in double coverage.
@@Asiaguydude Naw...running the clock is a MI specialty from the old days. The odds of losing were extremely low and he knew it, and played like it. Just like at Penn State. This won't happen against Bama or Georgia....but it will against Ohio.
You assume that a head coach is always the offensive coordinator ?@@e.p.723 I didnt claim to have an excuse in the first sweetheart. Or are you asking for a reason ? The main reason is that Michigan made the plays that impacted the game the most and didnt turn the ball over and we didn't make the plays and turned the ball over. Those aren't excuses, those are the facts. And playing in Ann Arbor never guarantees a win for the visitors. Been watching this game for close to 40 years and Im well acquainted with this fact.
@user-dq5rx7bv3x I love rewatching these videos when they pop up in my recommendations in the off season so I can see how many stupid comments Buckeyes fans made like this. 15-0, National Champions
Ohio state was MUCH better than I thought. Thank God for Ryan Day! And im not just referring to his in-game decisions -- he's an extremely unlikeable guy who says very stupid things that provide extra inspiration to OSU's opponents (yes, college kids are affected by that!), and DOES insane things off the field as well. Contouring up a sentiment of turning Michigan's 'jaywalking ' offense into a serious crime did not work. As a U -M alum I love that he's the head coach for the Bucks.
When the NCAA delivers its punishment you’ll finally realize that it wasn’t jaywalking. Day is fine. Harbaugh had to duck him and then cheat to win. Pathetic coach. He’ll embarrass himself again in the playoffs.
@@ericmeeuwsen2226 his name is Ryan Day and Harbaugh was too afraid to play him. Then he had to cheat to win. Harbaugh’s nickname will be “show cause”.
Good morning Buck Nuts. Now that you have awakened after crying all nite....let me explain. MICHIGAN WON. Ohio didn't lose. Michigan is a far better team. JJ makes Allar 2.0 look like a JV QB. Day couldn't outcoach a backup making 1/10 the salary. OHIO played from behind nearly the whole game. NEVER had the momentum. NEVER. Keep born on third base Day. Keep Allar 2.0. And good luck next year without Marvin catching jump balls into double coverage. And Go Blue!!
I heard a report that someone witnessed a yellow, sulfer like smoke emanating from the ground above Woody Hayes’ grave when the clock ran out. I’ll bet it’s hell down in Hell when Woody gets pissed!
This is a great analysis. You guys should be proud of the fact that you played the number 3 team in the country on the road so close, and as you said, this is the best Michigan team of the past 3 years.
The first interception was critical...but the real problem is you can't score in the 30s or more unless your QB can run the ball occasionally. McCord can't and McCarthy can and did. Urban Meyer knew this; Day does not.
Ohio State has this huge huge advantage of recruiting because of their lower academic requirements and yet The Amazing Maize n Blue owns those dumb nuts! Don’t worry little nuts, I’m sure your Princess Ryan will pout, cry and complain his way to getting your little girls to be in the playoffs again. How’s the “I hope Harbaugh stays” been treating you? We hope you keep your princess Ryan as head coach too, she does a great job! 😂
It’s funny people keep saying Harrison is the best player in college football. Why? He’s not exactly lighting it up. He’s good. But he’s not even the best receiver in college football. Let alone best player. I just don’t get it.
@@SpaceCadet48-j9t not UM's fault there was no CFP in 1997 and many at the time said including the other team was a parting gift to their retiring coach. use it to cope if it helps tho
Kyle's presentation here in his postgame presser is like, "Yeah it's tough ... oh well, probably go out tonight when we get back and grab dinner with the girlfriend, and then looking forward to watching some Netflix and relaxing." Compare that to Drew Allar actively crying in his postgame presser after losing to Ohio State. Im not saying that was a good look for Allar -- I don't think it was, actually -- but it was painfully obvious that Allar was genuinely devastated, while it's hard to believe that McCord's mind wasn't already onto which steakhouse he'll be eating at later that evening.
I thought Moore acted like a guy who wasn’t under pressure. Hats off to Harbaugh that he has so empowered his associates. They are a better coach team, that is for sure. I think day is good, but he will never be elite. We are seeing this truth right in front of our face all the time, anymore
Good joke: I have heard several times McCord referencing a RPO (run, pass option). Let us not kid ourselves: we have not run once this whole year in a RPO. What were we saving it for, if not Michigan? I had said we needed to have him run for at least a couple first downs this game, and what did we get?
Roman would be WR4 at OSU and will be a mid 4th round pick and low impact player in the NFL. Congrats to him on this one, but it's likely the peak of his career.
Everyone is picking Oregon to play in the Natty BUT I watched them play Georgia last year and they were CRUSHED. Neither Oregon or Washington plays defense. Michigan can beat Oregon this year and probably will if they play
Pretty hard fought game, I was freaking out at work a few times lol but i hope we win a championship and title or its back to the same and all these guys came back for it. God bless everyone. And this was stressful after like 22+ years witching Michigan im never relieved during a game 😅
This is a very good podcast that discusses tangible issues in an intelligent manner -- if more of OSU's fan base adapted to this method we'd probably have to change our thoughts re 'all things ohio state'
Our defense played more than well enough to win. As always, the weak link was MCCord’s and Day’s offense. They could not sustain drives and stay on the field-as per the usual. McCord/Day don’t believe in running the quarterback, even when it’s necessary.
Well... It looks like Ryan Day called the game like he understood he had Kyle McCord aa his QB he knows he's not that guy he limits the coaches play calling because he is limited
Man. We are spoiled coming off Tress and Urb. Seems like Earle trying to follow Woody Hayes. Almost won a natty his first year, then he was 9-3 Earle and they fired him (and he had winning record vs UM). Wouldn’t give up on Day yet unless you’re sure there’s a coach that’s going better than 56-7 out there. Think he just needs to learn how to beat UM which may not be a chore if UM gets crushed with sanctions
As a michigan fan, I can say I felt good about this game...when rod made the interception. Day seems to panic in his play calling, or so it appears. Osu was much improved defensively. Had cj been out there, we would have likely lost. I anticipate osu to win next year since we lose so much to the NFL this year.
Amazing Tony give you a lot of credit you’re being truthful Tom very snarky last year. It was anger this year you’re holding it in and it’s coming out as snarkiness. If I had a dollar for every time you guys say Marvin Harrison I’d be rich you guys don’t get it Michigan plays as a team that’s the difference, keep talking about signs stealing scandal. When you guys know it means nothing you wanna have the argument it gave Michigan a competitive advantage fine but to think that that’s why Michigan won is a losing mentality you’re not gonna beat Michigan till that changes.
Ps - i thought Ohio State was just as good as Michigan. Hahahahaha it’s those OSU nerds ! Well guys, sadly ya can’t sit and smile and talk about cheating and make cowardly excuses. They played straight up, and the better team won.
Represent the Big 10 well in the Orange Bowl. Go Blue and see you guys next year!
Amidst the vitriol of miserable Ohioans screaming for the head coaches head on a pike pole, there is this comment.
Kudos to you, and all that remember the higher aspects of humanity over the banality of fandom.
No. As a Michigan fan it was Very STRESSFUL because of the powerful potential of the explosive WRers. I was stressed until the final interception
i was in the big house and the stress was palatable in the air during the last couple minutes. the smiles at the end were priceless, especially on the youngsters.
OSU looked very bland.
GO BLUE fellas 😂😂😂😂😂😂 take this L!!!!!!!
Sherone Moore should have tried to win it with his offense. That’s the only criticism I have. His play calls were too conservative at the end.
What's the excuse this time three years in a row
What's yours for not having an outright championship in 75 years ?
@@SpaceCadet48-j9tWhats yours for losing to an offensive coordinator with no head coaching experience?
You assume that a head coach is always the offensive coordinator ?@@e.p.723 I didnt claim to have an excuse in the first sweetheart. Or are you asking for a reason ? The main reason is that Michigan made the plays that impacted the game the most and didnt turn the ball over and we didn't make the plays and turned the ball over. Those aren't excuses, those are the facts. And playing in Ann Arbor never guarantees a win for the visitors. Been watching this game for close to 40 years and Im well acquainted with this fact.
@user-dq5rx7bv3x
I love rewatching these videos when they pop up in my recommendations in the off season so I can see how many stupid comments Buckeyes fans made like this.
15-0, National Champions
Bro Sam Webb screaming in the back of your live stream is so funny. Better luck next year, learn how to win the LOS.
@@kevinjohnston4923 His name is '3B' -- I believe you meant to say, "3B is fine."

Sam Webb going in....my guy 😂😂😂😅
Man he went on a 1988 Macho Man promo 😂😂
You guys can hear Sam? That's awesome, music to my ears.Get them Sam
Yes, we did not adjust to TE
I heard a report that someone witnessed a yellow, sulfer like smoke emanating from the ground above Woody Hayes’ grave when the clock ran out.
I’ll bet it’s hell down in Hell when Woody gets pissed!
This is a great analysis. You guys should be proud of the fact that you played the number 3 team in the country on the road so close, and as you said, this is the best Michigan team of the past 3 years.
With no head coach and the few starts they have playing injured.......ok
WITHOUT HARBAUGH & KEY STARTERS ON OL? YOU'RE PROUD? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@doctordetroit4339DELUSIONAL 😂😂😂😂😂
Us Michigan fans don't actually think the players are soft, the scheme is soft. It has been for the last 3 years. That's the difference!!!!
Ryan day ? Never heard of her !! 😂😂
Sam webb yelling in background.hahaha
It’s funny people keep saying Harrison is the best player in college football. Why? He’s not exactly lighting it up. He’s good. But he’s not even the best receiver in college football. Let alone best player. I just don’t get it.
I love how the Ohio State announcers look like they just came from a funeral. Sick . Hail to the victors go big blue
@@SpaceCadet48-j9t not UM's fault there was no CFP in 1997 and many at the time said including the other team was a parting gift to their retiring coach. use it to cope if it helps tho
@@SpaceCadet48-j9tThis didn’t age well 😂
Ryan Day needs to be either a head coach or an offensive coordinator, not both.
Just when you think it can’t get any worse for Ohio State they humiliated themselves and embarrassed the Big Ten in their bowl game. Horrendous.
What's the peak off yours?
Tom and Tony coping hard.
Everyone is picking Oregon to play in the Natty BUT I watched them play Georgia last year and they were CRUSHED. Neither Oregon or Washington plays defense. Michigan can beat Oregon this year and probably will if they play
“Just fast forward to Oregon and Georgia for the championship game” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How’d that work out for them last year 😂😂😂
If Harrison is the best player in college football, why has he never beaten Michigan?
Because he can't beat Meeeeeeechigan all by himself. Football is a TEAM game and is led by a coach.
Day and McCord are like the guys who are good at studying hard, but not so good at actually passing the test.
CRYAN RYAN
Keep cryin Ryan sign that man to an extension
Thanks for the coverage this year. I would be afraid of a rematch, but if there is one I hope it's for the NC! Go Blue!
Day is recruiting the wrong type of QB. In college, you must have true dual threat QB.
Hail to the Victors!! #GoBlue!!!
Pretty hard fought game, I was freaking out at work a few times lol but i hope we win a championship and title or its back to the same and all these guys came back for it. God bless everyone. And this was stressful after like 22+ years witching Michigan im never relieved during a game 😅
WHAT'S THE NEXT MADE-UP SCANDAL NOW SUCKEYES? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
It’s not McCords fault when Ebuka drops the ball. Did Michigan drop a single ball the entire game?
Day coaches to conservative again. Does not trust his own offense
And he never gave up the play-calling like he said he would.
This is a very good podcast that discusses tangible issues in an intelligent manner -- if more of OSU's fan base adapted to this method we'd probably have to change our thoughts re 'all things ohio state'
Roman Wilson calling them soft boys out!!!!
Our defense.....exposed.....no running game either......Yeah McCord isn't great......but Day's play calling sucks.
Our defense played more than well enough to win. As always, the weak link was MCCord’s and Day’s offense. They could not sustain drives and stay on the field-as per the usual. McCord/Day don’t believe in running the quarterback, even when it’s necessary.
@@mybrotherkeeper1484 Our defense played horrible in the 2nd half Homes....couldn't stop them....not once Bro.
Where is this offensive genius? A backup coach had more balls and originality than him in this game.
Keep your ass lubed!
Call this the...Monday morning QB show...lol
McCord couldn’t hit a receiver if Michigan played a 11 man front! I see why Day was conservative
Well... Ohio State wasn't aggressive as they should've been because they just don't have the QB needed
As a michigan fan, I can say I felt good about this game...when rod made the interception. Day seems to panic in his play calling, or so it appears. Osu was much improved defensively. Had cj been out there, we would have likely lost. I anticipate osu to win next year since we lose so much to the NFL this year.
Dude, you need to update about losing people
Amazing Tony give you a lot of credit you’re being truthful Tom very snarky last year.
That’s Sam Webb going on off in the background 😂😂
Marv gave up on that rout for the first pick. Watch it
2nd one too
A whole year of eating this f****** loss gee I hope we survive
Adam is right to some extent. But coaches recruit, make personnel decisions, control clock and call plays.
Ps - i thought Ohio State was just as good as Michigan. Anything can happen on any given day, and while I'm not a huge believer in Karma (or at least I wasn't), there MAY be something to that, after all. Something is EXTREMELY OFF about that guy! Ryan Day, James Franklin and Paul Finebaum all in the same room together...ha, now that is funny!!!
You must be talking Jim Harbaugh; nobody weirder than him Jackson
Some are saying Michigan won because of cheating. Osu didn’t change their signals before the game?? That’s THEIR fault.
Hold this L! 〽️🏈💯💪🏾👑
i was shocked that jim knowles defense could not get michigan off the field and they milked the clock
That was the game.
@@Wayne-tk5mx i agree ,i am a ohio state fan ,BUT!!you must give credit to the michigan wolverines national champs , great offensive line ,they were able to clock manage and move the ball against the buckeyes for 3 straight years and if the buckeyes do not a=get a offensive line this year will be ryan days last year as a buckeye
Ryan Day brought no creativity to this game, offensively. Michigan threw the kitchen sink at it.
Hey fellas you predicted Georgia and Oregon in the championship game. How’d that work out for you?
If the Buckeyes have a girls soccer team maybe you should try that instead. 😂😂😂
