    When you are one of the "Big TWO" -only ONE game matters. Hearing osu fans whine and moan is the best. This is why I - as a Purdue fan - will forever TREASURE 10/21/2018 when Purdue demolished osu 49-20. Game was in Lafayette, so not as big a win as Michigan last Saturday, but still the BEST game I ever witnessed! osu can burn to the ground and disappear, and I would not shed a tear.

      I won’t say recruiting rankings mean “nothing”, but they don’t translate to who the better team is and that’s what made me laugh when I heard them saying Michigan isn’t “better” than them. I’m a neutral observer, but as a Miami Hurricanes fan I can tell you if recruiting rankings meant everything we’d always be a top 15 team. The better coached team that executes better is the better team. Michigan is a better team than Ohio State. I think Ryan Day is a pretty good coach, but Jim Harbaugh is definitely better than him and that’s made the difference lately. People forget that Jim Harbaugh was coming up short to Ohio state mostly because they had Urban Meyer who is like debatably top 5 all time as a college coach.

      Sabin/Smart/Dabo have stars "AND" attitude and ALL the Nat. Titles! Harbs is .500 v Moo U and plus 1 v PSU & 2-5 v sleeznuts. And Harbs coaching staff v TCU was beyond pitiful! Harbs needs Nat. Titles and dominance v Moo & PSU and win rec v Sleeznuts THEN come bk and sing his praises! Harbs is also 1-6 in bowl games! Sure takes after Bo! 5-12!!

      @@jamesbowen8960 Nailed it. They've been too successful for the last number of years, and have begun to assume that talent is all that's necessary. That is very individualistic perspective, and when you come up against a Team (which Michigan is), you are in trouble.

    • @jamesbowen8960

      @@rpryce2140 Excellent analysis and spot on insight. They've become victims of their own success. They are sold on going to O.S.U. gets you to "The League". Then they're told that they have to play as a team and all the rah- rah stuff that you can tell just doesn't go over with the players.

    I think Michigan is the better team. We are built from the inside out and we finally got a QB. I also don't think you guys are as talented as you think you are. Outside of Stroud and Harrison I don't see it. We have the better lines. The better backs. We have the better defense. We have the better special teams. We have the better team and I don't know how consecutive blowouts on both teams fields doesn't prove that.

    • @sethchandler4170
      @sethchandler4170 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Mike Honcho I knew he was special when he stayed on the field after the loss to Georgia. He soaked that in. It demonstrates he is a fighter. He has a lot of high end talent but his very best quality is how he handles losses. He was like that in highschool after losing the state championship. His leadership is better than McNamara because his attitude, approach and skill set back it up.

    Your problem is only a couple things if I may ….1, never abandon the run game….2 the whole defensive lack of adjustments …they put their safeties in a no win situation …and 3 Stroud not running ever…don’t get me wrong the guys arm is elite but once he’s off his spot it’s hard to watch ….Michigan has proven all season their adjustments are spot on after half …that was difference in game to me….and lastly, Michigan is more disciplined….they don’t beat themselves with dumb penalties ….OSU coaching has to be questioned based on what I’ve seen last 2 seasons ….

    I think that's my favorite excuse: "we weren't out toughed." Like congratulations, you put 8 in the box and stuffed the run when 5-6 guys are blocking. It'd be more challenging to BE out-toughed in that scenario, and even then on a couple plays you were lol. Once michigan blew the top off with the three long passing td's, they backed off, and what do you know, michigan started getting anywhere from 4 to 8 yards on the runs, the long touchdowns not included. It's almost like when you had to play michigan straight up and respect the pass you got out-toughed. It is what it is. Disappointing end to both teams years this past year, but looking forward to the next match-up

    A whole lot of rendering of cloth here. Harbaugh built a team that forced defenses to scheme against it. Namely Oline and RBs. osu schemed to stop the run and shut it down in the 1st half. JJ hit a couple passes to defeat the defense. osu comes out in the 2nd half and more or less stopped UM's passing game and Harbaugh went to the run. Harbaugh outcoached Day. I mean a converted LB at FB tossing a jump pass on 3rd and one. Who does this? lol

    Ohio State DID stop Michigan's run game fairly decently into the 3rd quarter. But were torched through the air. And behind 24-20. They had to adjust for Michigan's passing. And did. And once those DB's had to drop back from the line? Michigan just ran OVER them. Over an 8 minute drive. Chunks of yardage all the way to a TD. And a 31-20 lead. The "Game" was over.
