I`v watched about 7 of your video's and you do a great job. I love simple hands on. I'm installing 4 camera's and need to run 4 outlets in my attic. I'm also going to install 2 lights so thanks for posting.
be sure to add whatever length to you conduit to make up for the kick; because there will be some shrink as well. I know you probably already know that and just got a little anxious doing the video and left out the information on that, so I just thought I would throw that out there.
You can used the star to line up for the kick and to take it out line the star up and kick it down with the head of the bend in the air and a level on the pipe. In most instances just waffle stomp it and strap it. Good video!
Love your vids. I've been trying to find more on kick 90s. Say if I'm doing a run of conduit horizontal and I have to kick 90 onto another wall to go up vertically. How do I account for shrink since each kick the degrees will differ? And of course make it look good with them all bending at the same point.
Good common sense type of video. You could do my electrical work anytime. I went and measured my other tape measures. It seems only Stanley tapes measure 3".
some people call the shepherds hook a gooseneck bend Do you add the 3/8" from your first mark? Use an outside corner and a torpedo level, face the over bent 90 up and level the 90 and make the third mark where the corner intersects the tail and mark it and make the last bend? If you've already made the video, I would like to see how you do yours.
Same offset multipliers apply to kicks. 6 inch offset,at 30 degrees..6 x 2 =12, Mark pipe 12 in from back of 90,use arrow on bender, bend to 30 degrees.wont need to double/triple check it ,seems like magic, but its math, works every time the first time, and super fast
thank you for your knowledge brother. im a jman that never bent pipe. i like the way u explain stuff it really helps me.
That tape measure trick was awesome, i learned something new today!!!👌👏👏🦾
Awesome glad to hear that this helped. Thanks for watching and commenting ☺

Yes in the upcoming months I will be doing the videos on shrinkage

That's tough for me to do also. Usually I would bend it and then adjust accordingly. I'm hoping to do a video on shrinkage soon
you can leave it long and cut if its emt or theres this video th-cam.com/video/keOGF3He83Y/w-d-xo.html

How do you erase sharpie?
Write over it then rub it off.
How do you do this on a triple nickel ? Is there a way to measure the kick with the degree
I have tried to think about this question and I am not familiar with what you are asking??

Here is the one that I did do th-cam.com/video/KVr9YBJCjhM/w-d-xo.html

exactly
Your intro was like the scene in My Cousin Vinny where his fiancé explains her mechanic expertise.
😂 😂
bender must be perfectly level while pipe is perfectly level. otherwise, you're gonna be correcting your bends.
Exactly
why kick when you can just offset.
Sometimes you just have to
Less bends and looks just as good.
